Like it! I like the platform, the whole thing. What I think is weird, is that the chains on the ground look so good? They are complete useless, but they look so good, like they belong there. Good work!

Cool! I have a nice idea for the archers, but it might take a while before I upload it. No tag is okay with me, I thought the fig was a tag, but this is even better! Alfadas, Hersir of Mitgardian Archers. Sounds good to me! And yet another question: the winners will be voted for, right? You can not vote for yourself, I think? No, of course you can not vote for yourself. Stupid question. But will you (the council of Mitgardia) pick 2 or 3 entries per challenge, and we can all vote for it, or are all the entries included in the voting? Just curious.

Two questions. 1. I think the entries for phase lll or battle scene have to be posted in this thread. Is that correct? 2. How do you get the prize? If someone manages to win a category, how does that person get the fig? I don't have the parts to build one, and I am sure some others don't have it either. Is it a tag? Did I misread anything?

@amperzand: Thanks for the pic and tip, but I think I will stay with real Lego. I really do like the helmets (and weapons btw) some of the custom sites have, but I think they are kinda expansive, and I am afraid the quality isn't good enough. So, no custom helmets for me I am afraid in the near future. @odidoma: Pics of my rather small orc army will be up tomorrow. But shall I include a few uruks, just for more randomness?

Yeah, I think I can make the orcs look as random as possible, I have a few helmets I do not use. Prepare for pics in this thread the coming week.

Maybe that could work for the archers? I will give it a try, just need to make an orc into an archer. I am sure he will be fine with that. Mordor or Gundabad orc for archer? Or make Yazneg an archer?

The middle helmet is looking good on Fantasy Era orcs, but indeed it doesn't look good on other orcs. The first helmet I could use for officers, and the last helmet I already use for orcs, but not in combination with the armor piece. I have a couple of them from the viking sets, but didn't try them on orcs yet. It might look good, so I will give it a try. Thanks!

Hi all, just to let you know, I changed my name to Alfadas.

Yesterday I asked you what the best set to army build orcs with. Today I ask if I can give bald orcs helmets. I didn't watch the LotR movies, but I did watch the Hobbit movies, but didn't see many orcs wearing helmets. Is it ok to give bald orcs helmets, if so, what helmets? I have a few helmets which I think look good. What is your opinion?

I don't really care for the elves, but the Wargs are cool! I like the hair/ear piece, but an orc army entirely of gundabad orcs is a bit boring. I have one of the DGA set, and will definitely buy at least one more. I just went to my local toy shop, the DGA set sells for 28! euros, the MEA for 39. As I also want Azog (and Bolg, but that isn't until the next wave, I guess), I need to buy DGB which has 2 Gundabaddies. For the Gundabads DGA is the best set, now for Mordor/Moria orcs. I know Moria orcs only come in MOM, which currently sales for 80 euros, I don't think that is a good army builder.

As the title says, I wan't to build an army of orcs. I don't care if it are Mordor/Gundabad/Moria. I don't have a lot of money (around 20 euros a month) and I don't need giant armies, but a few more then 4 Gundabad orcs, 0 Moria orcs and 5 Mordor orcs. I think I want at least 30 in total (I have around 20 green orcs from Fantasy Era). So, with that little money, what is the best way to get orcs? (I don't want to bricklink them, I want them in sets.)
