Thank you! I absolutely wanted to have height difference, and this was the only option that looked cool. In the left corner there is a green hill, did you see that too? I have to admit, you don't see it as well as the brown one, but I am sure on the other pics on flickr.com you can see it better.

Hi all, this is my entry for the Hersir of Mirgardia in the archer category. I am very proud of the landscaping, and I think it is my best MOC so far, regarding landscaping. Please keep in mind that I am not good at landscaping, and this is I think the second time I make a bigger landscape. Hope you like it, C&C are always welcome! Diary of Alfadas Today we had a big battle against those filthy Avalonian Orcs. They have been invading the South of Mitgardia for a while now, and it needs to stop. So I gathered a couple of my best archers, and went to the place where they were last seen. When we got there, there was a muddy path, slightly overgrown with plants. The path led up a small hill. When we reached the top of it, I heard an orcish sound coming from the bushes. I turned around, and I saw two dozen of them running to us. I grabbed my bow, ordered my men to do the same, and shot one in the neck. One of my men climbed in a tree and started shooting arrows, calmly aimed, so none missed the target. Then one heavily armored orc shouted that there was somebody in the trees. One of the orc-archers tried to shoot him, missed and died in a few seconds. Orcs with spears and pikes tried to stab us, orcs with swords ran to us. No-one came even near us. The whole battle was fought in minutes. One of my men got a flesh wound on his shoulder from a poisoned arrow. I don't know if he makes it. I hope he does, he is the best of my archers. A couple of orcs fled the scene, maybe to their camp to get more orcs. We will see. An overview shot. Shot from the archer in the tree. A shot of the hill. And a shot of the archers, orc perspective. And you are right. Maybe Sluban is bigger here in the Netherlands, but I don't know that. I already gave my opinion, but I stay with the real Lego, no knock offs.

Those figs are great! They look awesome, and very realistic.

I got my entry for the archers ready, just need to photograph it! I am very proud of it, I think it is my best MOC so far, regarding landscaping. I hope you all think so too! Pics will be up in an hour orso. Or not, the batteries just went empty. Now I have to wait 15 hours, so pics will be up tomorrow morning. Sorry.

I now get why you did that. It doesn't look as bad as I first thought. It just had to grow on me. Now when I look at it, it doesn't look weird. I also get you want to keep the LotR figs complete.

Why didn't you include Sluban? (a link to those who don't know sluban) That is also a quite big clone brand. But if I really had to choose between Kre-o or Mega blocks, I would pick Kre-o. Don't know why, maybe because Kre-o sounds better then mega blocks.

Thanks! Please keep in mind that this was build a while ago, and back then I didn't have a lot of white pieces to use. Now I do (wait for stables phase lll). About plates on the ground wait for my Hersir of the Archers entry. Hope to get the last one up soon. Maybe this weekend. And about the photography, also wait for the coming MOCs.

Looks great! The supporters look great, I just don't get what flesh ones are doing here, between yellows. Otherwise it looks great!

Why are you so good at making MOCs? This looks amazing! I still love the idea of using the Wargs as cavalry. And the snow is very realistic. I also like that you made one of the Wargs like the "new" horses, standing on his rear legs.

Great build. Love the roof, and everything else! My shop is a weapon store too, I hope you don't think I copied it from you? I didn't copy it, just to be clear, I just didn't have another idea for the store. Hope that isn't a problem to you?

Great! It looks cool. Maybe a bit more variation on the ground, like a few grey studs, but it looks cool already! Keep on MOCing!

Don't we have a Hersir for the Navy? That would boost our Navel Mocs. Looking great so far, janatale!

More recent builds don't have the flash, so that point is covered. The lightning is a small problem though, will need to improve that.
