Thanks! I am not extraordinary good at making MOCs, sure I can make a decent build, but not as good as most of you, so I figured I would make a good story with it.

This is perfect once again. I love the figs, both are great! The ringfort is awesome, just awesome. Indeed, there is not a lot of room inside for longhouses, but if I am correct, sometimes the ringfort had only the longhouse of the leader of that town inside the walls. The rest of the longhouses would be outside, and during a raid or whatever, all the villagers would hide inside and defend it. I know it is not really common, but I thought I read that somewhere. I think just one longhouse, made smaller, could be inside, attached to the wall. Although, it is not really stable or anything. But who cares? As long as it looks cool, why should it be stable? Maybe you could make some sort of stable for horses in one end of the fort? Just suggestions, I would buy it unfinished, as it is now, I love it!

Alfadas. My commander. My hero. And now I can make myself useful for him. My dream has come true. Last week Alfadas called me to his tent and asked me if I could do him a favor. Sure, what is it? Alfadas said I needed to go south even further to go spying on the Drow movement. We were already in the middle of Avalonia, and now he asks me to go even further to the south? I didn't hesitate and went south. I came to an old forest. After a while I hear the voices of Drow. They don't talk in a Drow language, so I figured they are from different tribes, who don't talk the same language. I hide behind a small tree. I hear them say: "Great that you could join us. Your forces are of great use." "Yeah, no problem. But where the hell are we? This isn't Mitgardia, right? In Mitgardia is snow, and ice. Here is only grass and trees and hallucinating mushrooms. I ate a few last night, and I saw all different colors and dragons." "To answer your first question, we are in Avalonia, south of Mitgardia. We first need to conquer this area, then we can go to the north. But don't eat anymore of those mushrooms, some are very toxic. They might look delicious, but they can kill in seconds. Some of my men found that out the hard way." "Noted. No more mushrooms. But I thought you said we were going to Mitgardia. That's where my men are marching now. Where we dug all of those miles of tunnels." "Don't worry, my friend. Your men didn't waste their time and lives for nothing. We will go to Mitgardia eventually. Our highest commander ordered us to first conquer Avalonia, and maybe Kaliphlin, the desert, so that we don't need to march more time under the ground, and that we can get real food, from our own lands." "Okay, that makes sense. Let's go back in the tunnels and march our way to where ever the commander says we need to go." One of the Drow soldiers is complaining: "It is dark in here. I don't like that. I am hungry. How far till we can eat a bit? Aah, a spider. I hate spiders!" Another Drow: "How many times do have to say it, STOP TALKING! We know you don't like it here, neither of us does. But we don't complain. You can be the son of the commander, and have the special eyes, but you are the youngest of us here, so you have to listen to us. If we say you have to shut you mouth, you got to shut your mouth." "Don't need to be so hard on me. I will keep my mouth shut." "For how long this time? Last time you said it, you kept it shut for exactly 34 seconds." "Sorry, I will complain in my head." "Great. Now lets move on in silence." "It is dark in here. I am hungry." "Gotnark"! "Sorry. But it is dark in here." That is my entry for Challenge ll, Category A for team Simon. Thanks. I am currently waiting to order some shields and other viking stuff (my dad promised me some BW things for my birthday, so I am impatiently waiting). I am making some designs in Paint. But I guess you can go to google and type "viking shield". Great for inspiration. But I can post some paint designs here, no problem. For now this is the only one I have, I am kinda busy with my internship. Expect a lot more designs this weekend. oiu.bmp

Thanks all of you. My local toy shop has some Revell paint, my laptop has paint and my printer paper. So, with a bit of paint and a nice pattern, I should be able to make some nice shields, when my order arrives. That, unfortunately, takes about 3-4 weeks , but that gives me a nice change to practice a bit. Thanks again, you have been great help. I think I can post pics of my progress here, so you can help me? Or is there a special thread for? Another question, sorry. Is the paint easily removable? So if I ruin it, the shield is not wasted?

Hi all. I am a huge viking fan, and I am thrilled that Brickwarriors has released a few viking things. I want to equip my vikings with those accessories, especially the shield. But I think the shield is kinda boring, with only green, red or black. So, I want to paint them to become nicer. What kind of paint, and brushes and stuff do you recommend? I am new to customizing, so I don't know a lot about it. If anyone could help me with it, please.

Well, we also got the viking woman, in s7 if I am correct. And you could pretend the Highland dude from s6 as a viking. So that makes 3. Still way to little. Also, the gladiator from s5 could be used as a viking/barbarian kinda guy. Just replace that helmet with a hair piece and you got a viking. I would also love the Battle Goddess to be Vikingish.

Well, I am not discouraged at all. It is just a reminder that I have to give everything that I have every time. My MoCs will be better then they are now, and in a next challenge I will kick every Mitgardian's behind! Or I die trying.

Aah nice. Another clone, super battle droid and snowtrooper to go with the rest. And of course Santa Vader. Indeed, the Phase ll Clone trooper is awesome! I just don't get it why they did not include the new snowtrooper (correct me if I'm wrong)?

Just a quick question, does your sigfig have to be included in the MOC? It is not obligated right? For cat. A I am planning some scout/spy action, and my sigfig isn't a scout. He has a nice man for that.

Is this just like series 11 not going to be available in The Netherlands? If it is available here, I love the sound of Battle Goddess and Hun Warrior, maybe the Wizard and Jester, depending on whether they are medieval or not. Jester sounds like it's medieval, Wizard could be also modern. Man, I hope this will be available in The Netherlands. Or Germany.
