  1. VIKINGS!! And of course the Black Falcons. Those have to be my favorite themes.
  2. Yes, it helps, I thought it meant something like that, good to know it for sure. Well, I wouldn't mind a d2c set then.
  3. I read some posts ago, you guys where talking about a d2c set? what is d2c? What does it stand for??
  4. As far as I remember, I never had a set with the heads already attached. It is rather useless.
  5. A-ma-zing. Just amazing. I really like the ring fort, and the longhouse ofcourse. They could be 2 different sets, as an add-on to the larger set (TLG did that with Helms deep and Dol Guldur, and probably a lot more sets). That would mean more Vikings! To be honest, I don't really like the fleshie. To give you feed back on the front of the house, I think it would be better if you shorten the round bits sticking out of the roof a bit. They do look cool, but a bit too much. Otherwise, great!
  6. Do I see this correct, do the figs already have their head connected??
  7. Looking amazing so far, can't wait to see it finished. I really much like it, Love the river, the road, the trees, all is amazing!
  8. I am not sure about this, but my guess is that they were referring to the doctor fig, between the clone trooper and highland battler. Just my guess though, could also be another one.
  9. Ooh, I am soooo jealous! I don't have neither of the two sets, but I want it! How much did you pay for this?
  10. Hehe, nice build! Love the technique you used, great details, just awesome. Great work!
  11. Agreed with Tomsche, I would love to see something like this happening. But only comparable MOCers against eachother, otherwise it wouldn't be fair.
  12. Thanks and will do! It will take a while, I am about to move to a different house, and my Lego will be stored away for a rather long time, so I don't know when I get the time to do that. Thanks!
  13. Okay, here is an update of my viking army. I got some things from Brick Warriors and thought, why not upload them. They are not finished yet, I still need to paint the shields. Well, let's get started. Here is my new commander, he doesn't have Brick Warriors stuff, just all Lego. And here are my normal soldiers, they are just a random bunch of vikings and villagers with hair or dwarf helmets and Brick Warriors shields, swords and axes. And here are my special soldiers, commanders and archers. The archers are villagers with Lego bows, one commander is a viking with Brick Warriors shield and sword, other commander is a viking with all Lego items and Alfadas, the one in the center, my sigfig, has a great sword from BW, all other things are Lego. The Special heavy forces are vikings with BW shields, swords and axes. They also have the new BW Viking Helmet with horns. I must say, that they look better then I at first thought. And then I have 3 vikings that are scared of the camera, I didn't include them in the pics for some reason
  14. I am not really into trains, but this hurts even me! No Lego should be harmed like this. Cool video though, and nice timing.
  15. Thank you guys, but I am not sure if I can change it. This is my entry for the challenge, I could make better pics of this for the challenge, then change everything to make it a non challenge? I don't know if that's allowed or not. A tan, curved path. Very obvious, but I didn't think about it. Making it curved might be a problem, considering I only have 4 6x8 plates in dark tan. But as soon as I moved, I will spend some money on plates to make better scenes. Promise.
  16. yeah, Garmadon. I am currently making an entry for my topic about viking sets, so far I still have nothing, hopefully this weekend will bring some action.
  17. Thanks. Yeah, I hope I have time this weekend, still very busy with the internship and packing stuff to move to another house, so I hope I have time.
  18. Thanks for the ideas Ed, now to make them real . The deer in the winter village set are nice, but look kinda weird. I'd rather have a mold, like the horse or warg or bear. That looks way more realistic. But these are only ideas, nobody knows if TLG will make them real, so I guess a brickbuilt one is also good. BTW, Mjölnir looks nice! And indeed, in the set with the viking ship there is Jörmungandr, the Mitgard or world snake. He still looks amazing, so do the dragons.
  19. My entry for Cat A: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=96134&hl= My entry for Cat B: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=96783
  20. First of all, I am sorry about the quality of the pic, more and better pics will be up this week. Second, here is my entry for Cat B: Alfadas: Thanks for letting us rest for a while. Commander One-Eye: No problem, no problem. We are more then happy to share our little fort with you and your men. Alfadas: Good. Now, lets get to business. We need to attack the Drow, before they do. My scouts have made a map of the area, so finding the Drow is not a problem. Commander One-Eye: Yeah, if you need help with defeating the Drow camp, my men are at your service. Alfadas: Good to kn... One of Alfadas' Guards: Sir! The Drow are attacking! Commander One-Eye: Come on you lazy bastards! Get your weapons and defend this place! Alfadas: Great. Finally. Drow with the special eyes: He he, now it's my time to unleash my powers! And with that, he dropped his weapon, hided behind his shield and said a few words in a strange language. Out of his hand, a large fire bolt appeared. The other Drow screamed in happiness, and charged towards the walls and gate. As said, more and better pics will be up this week. I needed to get this up in time for the deadline. Hope you like it.
  21. That viking looks awesome! Continuing the brainstorm: Hunters sound nice! With a new mold for a deer or moose, or the polar bear from that arctic city theme. Armed with fur over leather or mail, a spear and dagger or bow and arrow . Included in the set would be a small tree that collapses, two generic viking hunters, the deer or moose (polar bear doesn't really match with trees). But that set might be a little to aggressive and aimed for kill, that it might not be such a good idea. But it would surely make for a good set, IMO. Unfortunately I don't have the polar bear, or any bear, or the skills and parts to make a deer, so I am going to make a scene with just to vikings, a falling tree and a horse replacing the deer. Pics will be up when I got the time to build the scene (should be within 2 weeks).
  22. I am not quite experienced with flea markets and second hand Lego, but I'd say you paid a nice price for them. 25 dollars for 6 figs and a horse is not too much. A little over 3 dollars each. And the figs are in a good condition. The horse is amazing, really with the armor.
  23. HUNS! Can't wait till the pics of them arrive. He will look awesome, no doubt. TLG did a great job with the Barbarian, so I am sure the Hun will look awesome too.
  24. Series 1: Green archer dude Series 2: Spartan warrior Series 3: Elf archer Series 4: Viking Series 5: Evil Dwarf and Gladiator (Can't choose) Series 6: Roman Soldier and Highland battler and Minotaur and Skater girl (The person I love looks a bit like her) Series 7: Viking woman and Evil Knight (again, Can't choose) Series 8: I don't know, maybe the Conquistador?? Series 9: Archer woman Series 10: Hard one again, Can't choose between Roman commander and Warrior woman Series 11: Barbarian TLM: None. Simpsons: None Series 12: So far the Battle Goddess and the Hun.
  25. The wizard and battle goddess look amazing! Definite buys for me!
