Book II - Mitgardia: Guild sign-up and Discussion
Alfadas replied to Ecclesiastes's topic in Guilds of Historica
Hehe, gnomish stuff is always cool. I think you have to wait till one of the big bosses here allows you to have a gun/spring shooter/pneumatic thingy as weapon. Crossbow is always save -
Yeah, you are right. With new torso designs, other colours and the current day parts, it sure would look better. If there are sets coming based on there pics, I would need to see the pics of those sets first, before I make a judgement. I was a bit rude on those pics.

I don't think that looks good, and I certainly wouldn't buy it. I want real Medieval stuff, not some weird renaissance/medieval/pirates mash up. I think most of us agree. Sure it would please some people, but most of us would have wished for either a real Castle theme, others for a real pirates theme. I rather spend my money on a vikings or fantasy era like theme. But that's just me.

Why do you need to be so good at MOCing?? Another great MOC, good work! love the arch (can I steal that technique?), wooden walkway, details on the ground, everything actually.

Book II - Mitgardia: Guild sign-up and Discussion
Alfadas replied to Ecclesiastes's topic in Guilds of Historica
Welcome! Indeed guns and other fire arms are not used here. Too bad, because you look very cool with it! -
Please bring Fantasy Era back, with new prints for the trolls, so a more random troll army could be made. Or Black Falcons. Or a civilian based theme. I know, that is not going to happen, but how cool would that be? Just a lot of civilians, houses, ofcourse the blacksmith, baker, inn, all the stuff a medieval village needs, with of course a few soldiers. That would be great. Or a theme with Vikings?

Book II - Mitgardia: Guild sign-up and Discussion

Only set I could think of is the army men set from toy story, this one: otherwise bricklinking them is always a good option. I also have about 3 pairs of green arms, so I normally use vikings as my figs. -
AWESOME!!!! Looks amazing, love the details on the houses, the figs, everything. Great work!!

Leaves on the Wind Fall as They Will.

Amazing MOC once again. Really love the barbarians, and the water turned out just fine, if you ask me. I don't have any experience with water but it looks cool! Maybe a salmon jumping out of the water would be cool, but that's just me. Great work! -
Just the colour of his hair is wrong, indeed pretty accurate. All colours should be a bit darker, then he is perfect.
-
Looks great! Reminds me to start building AOM MOCs again. Stopped after the military stuff. This could be fun too, after I have seen this. Great work, can't wait to see next stages!

Can I Discuss Third Party Vendors?
Alfadas replied to CrazyDalton777's topic in Forum Information and Help
You can. There are already many topics about Brickwarriors and stuff. So, go ahead. -
Well, the current bear mold has studs on his back, so you could put a brick on them. Although that would require a new mold.
-
Well, you are not the only one. I think with just different printing, it would be a great Beorn.
-
I only have experience with Brickwarriors, and then only a few swords, axes, shields, and helmets. They are great quality. I think the guns from Brickwarriors are also good quality. Brickarms I don't have experience with, but I imagine they are good quality too. I don't know where you should buy from, maybe you just got to try both.

When will we see the pics of the other sets? Somewhere mid August? I can't wait for the BOFA and lake town set! The smallest set is not that much of interest for me, maybe I will buy it for the figs. BOFA set must have an Iron Hill dwarf (maybe 2x), Orc (maybe 2x), Dain, Elf (maybe 2x) and Warg or Eagle. Who said there were only like 5 figs in the set? Maybe we get 10 figs? It is supposed to be an army builder, right? For 60 dollars it is a very expensive armybuilder, so I guess we would get a lot of figs and animals. But apart from the figs, what will be included in the set?

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 12 Rumours and Discussion
Alfadas replied to Rufus's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Thanks, can't wait to pick up some Huns, they are just amazing! The face is a bit weird, but that's what you get if you make Huns, I suppose. Shield is awesome, the whole fig is just awesome.- 1,109 replies

New LEGO Fantasy Theme -- A MOC Series
Alfadas replied to Nuju Metru's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Awesome! Now I am really curious about how the other sets look. Great work! -
As I said earlier, could the axe be made from a special mineral, so it is green in the movie? i don't know, but that is the only reasonable explanation I have.

BrickWarriors July 2014 - New Wizard Items
Alfadas replied to Thrash's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Looks like a normal metal coloured armor, but custom painted. Or it is just the light, it could also be just the normal metal colour, no custom paint. Great products as always, not suited for me though. I like the warrior stuff more. But the products are cool! -

I am not soft, I love to kick some Kaliphlin butts, but sometimes it is wiser to form an alliance for a greater threat, like the Drow (or who knows what other horrid things are about to come). So, soft, NEVER!! We Mitgardians love to fight. We, people of Historica, should all work together, to explore lands beyond the Oceans. But that is never going to work if you Kaliphlinites keep on arguing and fighting us.
