  1. I would be willing to pay $50 for Sheepo's instructions, but I would also expect everything to work perfectly.
  2. I just noticed there are custom stickers on the front panels above the headlamps.
  3. I knew it was Paul's but I couldn't find the thread for it because it had a somewhat odd title.
  4. Just noticed this over at Cuusoo. I apologize if it was already posted, but I didn't see a thread about it.
  5. I wouldn't be surprised if every Technic project on Cuusoo got rejected after 10,000 supports claiming that they were just too good.
  6. Great Model I had a feeling that it would turn out beautiful. Paul, thanks for showing these pictures. Got to love the show of respect from one master to another.
  7. I am talking about the money that was raised for the Charity Auction. That auction had almost 2,800 unique views and was great promotion for The Lego Company as well as Make-A-Wish and Paul himself. The accomplishment that was reached in that auction seems like it would be a great way to get exposure for the Technic theme since many people don't seem to care about it.
  8. Had that ever been confirmed? I know Paul was very vocal about the 8081 Toggle Joints being in gray on the all black 8081 set and those certainly are not Alfred Pedersen's(The designer)initials. and I remember when the stickerless prelim pics of the 9395 came out Paul was overly excited. I think because he needed them for his upcoming car(s). I do remember a few other people saying that it was an inside joke. What a way to become immortalized in a set, by complaining. Maybe next he can complain about the 19Length Flexible axles in Black making a return.
  9. I am a little surprised that no other Lego based sites are mentioning this other than Technicbricks. This was something pretty special that was accomplished for not only Technic, but Lego in general.
  10. Yes, this certainly is a wonderful thing that he is doing. This is also great exposure for The Lego Group. This auction may gain some media coverage after it is over since it is pretty unique. Is this the first Lego technic charity auction?
  11. What I find a little odd is that there has been all types of press release and articles about Paul's Vamp model this week as well as this Charity auction, but yet there has been seemingly no increase in Cuusoo supports.
  12. As brought up at TechnicBRICKs, I wonder why they are using the old style triangular pieces?
  13. Are you having any problems with those 24 and 8 tooth gears binding up at all?
  14. It looks like it has been featured on many Major auto forums and I think some Land Rover type forums as well. Making great use of the Land Rover name.
  15. This is a great Picture! How was the show?
  16. This is going to go for a lot of money. Especially since it is a charity event.
  17. Is the steering supposed to not be very practical in this type of suspension? I am not very familiar with this kind at all.
  18. I don't see how a Lego project like MLP could ever not fail. I bet if this same project was submitted today that it would be rejected in the prereview stage. I think the original one is getting leniency because it is already over the 50% mark in Supports and they are letting it run it's course just to keep fans interested.
  19. So what are you saying? Do you want to have a 8070 with all of the features of say the 8448 SSS or 8880? Or are you looking to make one that you can drive?
  20. What fun are you talking about? Fun that a project with a fanbase got 10k votes quickly because it got a lucky spot where it could be seen by the masses and supported easily by anyone? I am not trying to be a downer on this, I just don't think things are balanced properly with the projects at Cuusoo. I don't even have anything up at Cuusoo and I can see that there is a problem. I just feel that supports should be earned and not given. Cuusoo is almost becoming a popularity contest between licenses. I don't think this was the original intent of this website.
