  1. Those are really nice photos Front, and they show how well you keep your sets in prime condition as well.
  2. What? No mention of me? Oh wait, my name's completely different there....I should fix that. Anyway, welcome to EB, and I hope you enjoy your stay. Seeing as you like writing BIONICLE, I'm sure you could right some good stuff for our on-going BIONICLE 2010 Fan-project.
  3. Also, I'm sure at least some retailers who are given the set list will know who characters like Tahu and Takanuva are, so it would be false advertising on LEGO's part if they were to get the retailer's hopes up when the characters are in fact completely different and unheard of.
  4. I think he also meant simply replacing some of the brighter colours like Gresh' Lime or Metus' Light Blue with Sand Green and Sand Blue to make their armour match the movie versions. A Metus, Berix or Kiina with Sand Blue would be total .
  5. Ben 10 probably has a later release date, so isn't in the first wave of sets. Also, some of the City sets are possibly DUPLO, because they start with 3. As for what Greg has said about the BM storyline continuing for more years, it's quite possible that there has been a drastic change in the story team's plans. Maybe that they decided that if they didn't return to the MU and conclude that storyline now, fans (especially the target kids buying) would forget about the MU storyline, and it would be too confusing to conclude it. Recent unexpected reveals such as the purpose of the Red Star also support the fact that they may be concluding the entire MU saga for good.
  6. If you guys are looking for a NZ forum, there's this one here. It's mainly got only Australians right now, so they're in need of more Kiwi's to even it out. It should make it easier for us Kiwis whenever we want to make a bulk S@H order to fight the shipping costs. Speaking of S@H, has anyone taken advantage of the Modular set prices? They're so low compared to other countries and Aus that I thought it was a mistake, but they've been like that for a while...
  7. Don't believe everything you see on Brickshelf. Those are MOCs made by a fan, kinda like our 2010 BIONICLE fan-project. There's a topic about it in the History forum, and you can tell the pictures are fake by the graphics of the actual sets on the sides of the box. Edit: Beaten again by Omi :P
  8. Most likely he will give the same answer whether it is real or fake. If he confirmed it was fake, then for future lists we could assume that if he doesn't confirm it to be fake, then it's true. Giving the same answer regardless is the best way to avoid breaking his NDA.
  9. Despite what Tilius says, I still think Takanuva is a canister set. The age recommendation on the Amazon page is 6+. In storyline, he did shrink once he left Karda-Nui, so he'd better not be big again. And the Ussanui is broken around the entrance to Kini-Nui somewhere around/in Makuta's nose, so I don't think that's coming back. Quoting from Tyranide's post: This new stuff matches what Tyranide heard, but it's still possible that Tilius based the interview on this info too. However, I'm currently inclined to believe it, to some extent.
  10. That sounds like Ratchet: Gladiator. Which reminds me - We need a 2010 video game. If the storyline is somewhat like what we're thinking it to be, it would make an awesome game.
  11. That's too obvious though.
  12. As much as I'd love that, we have to remember that BIONICLE is still targeted at 10-year old kids, so the violence has to be moderated. If there's Lewa, he needs his Ax back.
  13. Or one person could do them all by downloading the pictures, watermarking them, and re-uploading them for the creators to download and replace.
  14. Here's a Tahu, but I searched through Amazon and couldn't find any of the other additional sets that Tillius talked about. The original six are real though.
  15. The best thing is that the name of this topic doesn't include BIONICLE, so a Google search for BIONICLE 2010 doesn't reveal our fan-HQ. Dark Orange. @Swert - Currently I think anyone who finds information from this topic will also see the fan-made part, but you're gonna have to watch out when we start making the official set images. Maybe we could watermark them, not with an identifiable Eurobricks symbol, but with a BIONICLE mark that wouldn't actually appear on actual 2010 stuff, so we and moderators can quickly tell our fan-stuff from real, while not spoiling the "authenticity" of it for others.
  16. The original six are real, as far as placeholder names go. I've got the Amazon pages open in tabs right now.
  17. What kind of display cases do you have? I might be able to offer you some of those sets.
  18. Bikes in real life are meant to look good whether there is a person on it or not. All of the 2008 vehicles looked good on display when the figure was standing next to them, so it's a fair complaint that the Kaxium doesn't look good without it's drivers.
  19. Bohrok was mentioned in earlier rumours of 2010 that came from the 2009 Discussion Topic. That's probably where it's coming from.
  20. In 80 Dollar's review, the Kaxium doesn't look anything like good TECHNIC sets, which have much smaller holes, and a solid 3D form.
  21. It looks like two fat scooters with big holes in the bases rather than motorbikes when there are no drivers. But hey, I shouldn't be stopping you from buying it, seeing as I'm going to buy it aswell anyway.
  22. IMO Dark Orange is really good with Orange, because it's like enhanced shadow for the Orange when put in the right place and the right pieces, like all the Technicy Dark Orange from Takua&P and Jaller&G. Sand-Red + Brown= Ancient Rust Villian No, Mottled Gunmetal is Gunmetal, only it's got this misprinted mottled texture in the colour. I have a Zamor launcher in Mottled Gunmetal. I'll take some comparison pictures of it. Fine, I guess it can be confined to the comics/art. I've made a villian/experiment MOC, and it's white/dark bley with a bone-mech-ninja theme. I'll post pictures soon.
  23. That's a good point, and probably why Mata Nui isn't in the set lists. Maybe he sends Glatorian to go get some Iden Toa because he knows he can't enter the MU in his current Ignika body without killing everybody. It's a bit of a grim plot device though for a kid's story. I'm pretty sure that next year will be the 10th anniversary for BIONICLE, because it is it's tenth year. The 10th anniversary for Star Wars LEGO is just weird and really drawn out. @ the Brickshelf folder - we could, but the person's put MEGABLOKS cars in the Cars section.
  24. The Ussanui was a flying bike though, built out of Rahkshi parts. It had that creative BIONICLE "edge" that meant it didn't just look like a real-world vehicle built out of BIONICLE parts. Aside from the Chirox blade and the extra back wheels, the Destral Cycle is an everyday motorbike built out of Jetrax parts. As for the Kaxium, the impression that I get from review is that it looks great as long as the figures are on the bikes, otherwise the entire set looks hollow and empty.
  25. But it's not BIONICLE, which is the problem.
