The Silver has changed since 2003, just as the greys and gold have changed. Qualifies a new colour in my books.

The Skrall uses an Av-matoran leg as a neck. That could look messed up from sideways.
-
No, I think the impulse and canister sets are just sold to retailers in packs of 2, but they sell them individually.

It's a prototype part, not in sets. I'm also glad for the people who have it, that the golden BIONICLE isn't Takanuva. That would suck for them, especially Omi, who spent a fair amount to get a New-Gold Avohkii.

Then my wallet just died. Gresh has chibi-feet and chibi armour, and a lime helmet. Do want Skrall is chibi.....and cheaper than normal Skrall.....Oh god, somebody take out Avohkah's Sparks before he gets to the shops! (Seriously though, I want these mini-skrall to be another scale-to-other-Skrall-class, because I always wanted an evil Munchkin army! ) Omi wins, it's a Hau with a plus rod. There's a dot in the mask, and I hope it isn't obvious in the real set. By the shape of the silver thing on Tahu's hand, it looks more like a Silver Hau. Three Haus in one set is just too incredible for me though. Av-head is . Recoloured Avohkii! Now I'm really jealous of the New Gold Avohkii owners, because they can now get that mask in five different colours. (not including Platnium) I really want to know the reason for Taka being silver though, and I hope it's not leeching again. For the golden BIONICLE, I'm guessing that the bigger, more essential-to-construction-pieces of the BIONICLE will be included in larger sets. Although this latest gimmick is annoying, at least we get awesome gold recolours of useful parts. And at least the gold parts aren't randomly packed, or in 1in3 sets. So yeah, my views on the sets have changed, if only for the recolours and sexy-chibi-pieces. But storyline wise, it's still really messed up.

Well done, that looks much better than what I suggested. Do you have the Bohrok eyes in solid blue? It might look better than the trans-blue, but only if the blue and dark-blue shades don't conflict each other. The only issue is that the pupils aren't that visible, but I can't think of a better solution, and it probably looks better in person anyway. If you want to have Sonic looking bakwards though, using a black axle, lightsaber blade or cut tubing should do the job well.

Because it's just that easy to photoshop believable set images for the entire LEGO lineup of summer 2010, complete with new box designs, gimmicky concepts and a believable premise to justify the sets, and then to distribute rumors and fake set lists to multiple independent sources, including reputable sources such as Amazon and even a Legoland site. It would be nice if you stopped calling the fake card - while the second half of Tilius' list could still be fake, the first list and these pictures are definitely real.

I'm gonna make the best sea serpent if that's the case. If we're learning Mata Nui's true mission next year, doesn't that confirm that next year will conclude the entire MU arc? Mata Nui's mission and stuff like that was originally meant to be years and years down the track, along with the Red Star purpose thing. The scale switch makes sense, and I'd love to see some of the big sets of next year be MOCed in their 2006-9 scale equivalent. If the sets are good that is. If 2010 concludes the MU arc, I really really hope that TLC releases a UCS style SYSTEM Great Spirit. That thing would sell to non-BIONICLE fans too, because it's a giant robot with awesome designs anyway. A 1 meter tall model would be amazing.

Don't tempt them!

Judging by the pictures, the set names and their umbrella names, it sounds like they've fudged the story, and are doing "The Best of" for BIONICLE 2001-2009. Any storyline will probably be stretched to accommodate the change, but hopefully it won't be too unbelievable. I heard that too, but this wouldn't be the first time that LEGO has "re-acquired" a piece. They've reused pieces that haven't been used in over 20 years in other themes, and although the physical molds originally used might be gone into the infrastructure of a LEGO factory, no company would be stupid enough to throw away the technical specifications and information that they used to create the mold in the first place. LEGO can remake a Hau if they need to.

The Original Tahu Mata Hau that can be seen in the picture only comes with a stud connection. The axle Haus are completely different shapes, and wouldn't represent the original Tahu that they seem to be making. To those who think these could be fakes - it's on a LEGOLAND site, along with all the other prelim theme pictures that all seem to be accurate, so it's very unlikely that they're fake. Prelims yes, but they should at least bear some similarity to the final sets. @ Front - I know it's probably too late for the sets, but if these are the sets for next year, please tell the designers not to slack off on the eye colours! I can see that as being one of our biggest complaints if the eyes are only neon-green, orange or blue. Like I said early, I don't want you to confirm anything to us, but I'd appreciate it if you asked. I do hope so. Although the pictures above it seem to be boxes of bigger sets. Maybe gold collectors items of the small sets are available in the bigger related sets?

I like the most recent photos. Bitil is especially nice, and the posing of M&S is very cute. My only qualms is that Antroz' wing is mildly inappropriately posed, and Maxilos' face looks over exposed, so it looks like it's made inferior plastic/well shaped Play-Doh.
-
I'm afraid of that - given the amount of Av-recolours we already and will have. Although, I also hope that's the idea that set designers are going for. It might mean that the Hau is actually the original Hau (not so good), but it then brings the possibility of recolours of original masks (very good!).

It looks like the sets will be a fusion of SYSTEM and BIONICLE to represent the different aliens. Picture! From: http://www.legoland.cz/index.html

I guess it's just your feet following Danish law. Don't worry, it's not fair for any of us to try and get you to disclose information about them, so I'm (and hopefully all others) won't try to make you. For the pictures though - wow, that is both painful and incredible to see that all the iconic characters will be represented like that. It's awesome because the Toa are finally the same price that they were originally, and painful because they're chibi 10-piece renditions of them. I hope dearly that Greg and the story team can come up with a good story for the wide arrangement of sets, and I wonder that if they're doing a retrospect year of all BIONICLE characters, what's for 2011? New story with new characters, continued story with new quests, or might 2010 be the end of BIONICLE as far as the theme name and story goes?
-
It's a pity that TLR contradicted our start of 2010. We really should do something with that work, but I don't know what.
-
Agreeing with Omi here - We'll probably be one of the first to know about their existence when they come. Repeatedly asking isn't going to help or speed up anything.
-
Use white LEGO dishes with a black rod in the middle, or a black stud on top for the eyes, and maybe you could see if a Dark Blue Ruru or a blue Kanohi Nuva has a close enough shape to make the spikes on the back of the head? Also, how big do you want the head in comparison to the body? If it's bigger, you'd get more detail, but it would look like a bobble head and might have trouble staying straight.
-
So it's assumable that you neither admit to confirming or denying the accuracy and speculation of the information in questioning, given the fact that you don't feel obliged to shed details on which parts of this information may have some similarity to the real 2010 information that this may or may not be. Right? Personally though, I believe this information, because it seems cool and logical enough for LEGO to actually do, but the fact that this information has little validity regarding an authentic source renders the information moot, because we can't confirm it's real until we find actual evidence. I believe it, but I'm taking a big grain of salt with it.
-
I know he was! He owes us though.... Most likely I'll just photo shop a box for it once we find out what the 2010 box style will be like. If you see a trans-purple gear battle pack on Bshelf, it'll look good, but you'll know it's fake.

Although I agree with RoS leading up to 2010, Makuta is a freakin' giant evil robot with no respect for his own inhabitants, let alone inhabitants of other planets. If he wanted to kill Mata Nui, he'd do it by blowing up/jumping on Bara Magna and killing everyone on the planet. No point in silly assassination attempts that aren't going to work and will most likely leave you assuming that he's dead when in fact he isn't. The Makuta's smarter than most villians in that respect. Not really, but that could be because we all debunked the ridiculous 2nd half of that rumour anyway. I guess yours was ridiculous enough for him to debunk it straight away. There are some elements of it that I hope are true, and a lot that I hope are not. And Front, you better hold true to your word about the purple gear thing!

Or the Pirate Survival impulse. It's cheap, and let's your Tufi eat fish whilst magically procuring fire, snakes and pants.
-
That more or less covers it, but I expect we'll probably get more side-stories as well. Possibly Lewa getting his own side-story as well? (With Onua, who comes to rescue him?) Yeah, we've got plenty of story to last till the end of the year, and I suspect Greg will find ways to combine all the side stories (via Vezon most likely ) so that they can be concluded at the end of the serial. For the Tren Krom story, the only way I would accept him dying is from Onua intentionally/accidentally killing him.
-
As cool as it sounds though, bashing your own universe unconscious in an attempt to save it doesn't really make sense. They'll probably do it though, or at least have Mata Nui distract the Makuta so that he's only focused on the other GS Robot instead of the stealth rebellion that would be going on inside him.
