  1. There will be at least 20% off LEGO next Tuesday at Farmers!
  2. Not yet, and it's unlikely that many people here will get them the instant they show up...If they do though, they'll appear somewhere here. Somebody has all six Stars, and so there are pictures of the Golden Bionicle!
  3. I've merged this review topic with the topic for your previous epic to save space. I can update the title for whatever review you're working on at the time.
  4. Lego-Freak has found pictures of 8190 Claw Catcher and 8191 Monster Jail from Amazon.jp! Click here to discuss
  5. According to the website, it seems to be tomorrow only.
  6. I'm getting this set - for the purple parts! And that lovely Squidman...
  7. I want BIONICLE minifigs, but not in a MUGS set - it would ruin the scale of the model if it had an attempted interior or size-comparable figs.
  8. That seems like an odd budget-cutting move for Power Miners, considering Power Miners was the one to introduce so many new matching colours of crystals in their first wave...
  9. He said it this morning, so he should know that we've seen all the Stars by now.
  10. Farmers has another 20% off toys this Thursday, although I don't think it's just cardholders this time.
  11. The replacement will most likely have an elaborate plot like Bionicle, because the elaborate storyline is the reason that Bionicle was so successful and long lasting compared to other themes. I suspect that the main difference will be that the new story will tie itself up cleaner every year, or just not amass such a network of characters and unanswered questions.
  12. And in English: "Speaking of 2010, indeed, the BIONICLE range will see major changes. LEGO launches in January 2010, redesignated the 6 characters favorite characters from fans since launching the range in 2001. As you know, you can find: Toa Tahu, takanuva, for Gresh Heroes Piraka but also a Rakhshi and skrall. This assortment Collector will also receive a mechanism for collection with 6 elements "golden" in each can transform into Toa Tahu Tahu Gold and give it enough power to win the final battle. And thus conclude the saga beauty Mata Nui and Bionicle story that we know since the launch of the range. In September 2010, a new set after a new line and pulled a new story hit stores. This range is not set LEGO Ben 10 Alien Force, which also released in January 2010. Of course I could share more with you about this new wide release in late December / early January. " Who/what was the source specifically though?
  13. Not so much the similarities in the pieces, but your picture shows that Glatorian hands can't fit the staff piece. I guess that's that solved, but why two staffs?
  14. But it does make him even more like Solek than he needed to be. I'm not sure why a staff or light wasn't able to be in the set..
  15. Since in-depth multi-paragraph debates about the pros and cons of different masks are appearing in unrelated topics, I've moved all of the posts here. Any discussion about Kanohi and similar head-gear can go here, unless it's related to Bionicle 2010 or Hero Factory, then it can go in the pinned topics. Keep it clean.
  16. According to Greg it was a decision from the marketers up in Denmark to call the set Piraka instead of Skakdi or Nektann, because Piraka is the name that most fans know as the sets that sold well in 2006, not just the more serious fans like us.
  17. How good is the sale there, and is there more than one? I've been barely able to find any here, and the couple I have seen have the most lovable NZ-price I've seen in a while.
  18. Please pester your legal division to nab Zirahk, so that it can be written in official story/serials.
  19. Here's the actual page where Sean talks about the creation. It's amazing how accurate the logo is despite using so many unrelated pieces to make it.
  20. I doubt it, because like the Skrall (and possibly the Piraka), I think it was said that they're representative a lot of them. Apparently the Toys'R'Us that Toaraga got them from had those two sets (one of each) only, but should be getting a bigger shipment later this week, and the Stars could be showing up in other stores in the coming weeks. Also, did you have to invite your Creed and mancat here Bunda?
  21. Yellow Rahkshi, and I can now believe Nektahn (not that I'm too fond of the face though...)
  22. Starfish Mecha After years of being stepped on and thrown around by minifigs, and having their moments stolen by frogs and monkeys, a humble starfish decided to build himself a hard-suit to enable him to leave the watery rock-pools and take his revenge! The mech is armed with a dexterous hand (for a starfish) and a spinning saw, and features dual water tanks to provide the starfish pilot with fresh water to reside in. Comments and suggestions are appreciated.
  23. In the first chapter he was near Atero, and says he should've been helping prepare for the Great Tournament. He must've left the desert on the day of the attack, and just missed the news that Atero was under attack.
  24. It's hard to tell - the wording of the statement at the end could mean either just this storyline or the entire BIONICLE line. However, Greg puts more emphasis on Bionicle rather than this, which puts me in favour of the latter option. If it was the first option he would've subconsciously put more emphasis on this, because he knew the statement only applied to this BIONICLE saga. Although it could just be my mind-frame that BIONICLE is switching next year making up excuses to prove it though.
  25. Cloud Raptor This MOC was built for a steampunk contest on BZPower. It has two motors, a small one in the front, and the main one behind the pilot along with the boiler as the source of this plane's power. Tubing leads the pressured steam all around the plane, where gears handle the rest for turning propellers or raising and lowering the wings.
