He designs the pieces, which is even better than set designing. In regards to the Ignika, I've been wondering what's happened to it. Currently it's lying inside Mata Nui's Proto-head, yet somehow it devolves Tahu back to Mata form. Does that mean Tahu goes into the Prototype GS, the Ignika gains long-range powers, or Mata Nui ejects the Ignika into the sands of Bara Magna?

I didn't check, but I'm guessing it would be $3-5 cheaper than the S@H price. I doubt the ARC will be cheaper at The Warehouse, it will probably be the RRP of $145. Sorry to get your hopes up, but I meant the Car Building Set and House Building Set, which are $18 and $19 each. For future though I'm sure I could buy it for you and post it down if there's LEGO you want up here.

I've just been to the same Kmart, and the new sets CF mentioned also include Woody's Roundup, the smallest Racer sets and the small Creator House and Car sets. The Arc is $140, and the Army Men were only $22, so I took one of those.

Were there any Ben 10 or Bionicle sets?

I don't think anyone was missing Artahka's presence though, and now he's going to be cleaned up along with the rest of the party gathering in Teridax's head.

I already dislike the new armor pieces due to lack of typical Bionicle connection points, but I don't know how that similarity affects my opinion. I love the nostalgic resemblance, but at the same time it looks disappointingly simplified.

I can see a Star Bohrok looking good posed, but it wouldn't have the snapping-neck-action, and it could only have limited ball-function.

They even have the picture right for the red Hau, but now there is no way to tell the difference without asking individual sellers.

Does Dropship have to mean troop deployer? It could easily be some Agori-build pilot driving a helicopter jet fitted with a bombing mechanism couldn't it?

What I do see happening is MOCs using HF pieces being brought into the Bionicle canon through contests. I doubt any official models or alternate models will be related to Bionicle, because TLC would be focusing on introducing the new HF story instead of promoting a discontinued one.

That's how it works for any online shop, just wait till you find it in store instead if it annoys you.

Happy New Year everyone! A lot of 2010 sets are avaliable on S@H now, and a the Ben 10 sets aren't nearly as expensive as I feared!

They already had the prototype that they could fall back on as a backup second GS. They probably didn't have enough time/resources to make the third proper robot, so they didn't. It seems like an odd unnecessary mystery to be added to the story.

I've been interested in a Click (S@H Exclusive Bionicle), so I should be able to partake in this order (If there are enough of us to make the shipping reasonable.) Thanks for arranging this ColdBricks!

Your image link doesn't work for me, but I found another one here. It seems like they nabbed a Brutaka and pasted the pieces all over him. It looks pretty good, although us knowing what the pieces are probably takes away from the theme Dave McKean was trying to make.

Considering that HF seems to have a completely different theme and story than Bionicle, it would make sense to not reuse masks to avoid confusion between the stories and lines. However, since HF will carry the Bionicle name at first, maybe some masks are similar/reused on purpose to make more association with the popularity of Bionicle? Also, in the Stars prelims, it looked like Tahu and Piraka had an original Hau and Vezok head, which were later replaced with the final slightly different piece.

Unless Glatorian mature incredibly slowly he wouldn't have been very old then, which could mean that both Tahu and Takanuva (Av-Matoran were made first) are older than him. Either way though, they're all very old.

I do like that commercial. I was hoping for CG GS Robots in it, but the Kini-Nui pyramid, mini-fight and golden armor was just as good!

This is probably the wrong place for it, because it's probably not an NZ-exclusive problem. It sounds like someone subscribed you a second membership though, and you'll most likely receive two magazines from now on... (I wouldn't mind taking one off your hands if that's the case though )

Well it's only three of the old characters (compared to all 6 back in the days). And if they were well-built rahi sets, dinosaurs in a jungle would've been amazing. I'm mainly intrigued about how the set plan would've played out. I think it would probably be a revamped Mata Nui, Kiina and Ackar along with the three maze Glatorian as the first wave canisters, and a Skrall and Baterra set to accompany them, then 6 ELs and that vehicle for the second half, with side-story for the other summer sets. But unless the movie was released early with the summer sets, half the movie story would need to be told to explain purpose of the three new Glatorian. Hopefully while the events of the movie aren't canon, the locations (GS junkyard, prehistoric Bota Magna, Power Core) are.
