A lot of the sets are pretty mixed up, with pieces from other sets tacked on here and there, so I'll list all the sets that I can see, and hopefully you'll have the pieces to make them. I didn't notice any sets that looked fully complete, but I've labeled the ones that only have a couple of their parts. Mask from 1389 Onepu or 8548 Nui-Jaga 8563 Tahnok (only limbs) 8566 Onua Nuva (Mask and one arm) 8568 Pohatu Nuva 8570 Gali Nuva 8571 Kopaka Nuva 8572 Tahu Nuva 8587 Panrahk 8593 Makuta 8594 Jaller and Gukko (Two burnt-orange wing-swords only) 8602 Toa Nokama 8603 Toa Whenua (Mask only, could also be from 8724 Garan) 8604 Toa Onewa 8606 Toa Nuju 8615 Vahki Bordakh 8617 Vahki Zadakh (Weapons only) 8618 Vahki Rorzakh 8619 Vahki Keerakh x2 8621 Turaga Dume and Nivawk (Head only) 8622 Nidhiki 8623 Krekka 8737 Toa Hordika Nokama (Head and weapons only) 8738 Toa Hordika Whenua 8739 Toa Hordika Onewa 8740 Toa Hordika Matau (Weapon only) 8741 Toa Hordika Nuju (Weapon only) Matau Minifig and Visorak spiders from 8757, 8758, 8769 or 8769. Because these are System/Bionicle sets, you'll probably only have the Bionicle pieces of the set. 8728 Inika Toa Hahli (Mask only) 8729 Inika Toa Nuparu (Chestplate only) 8732 Inika Toa Matoro (Weapon and hand only) 3541 Slap Shot Possibly 3544 Hockey Game Set (Very incomplete though) As for the brightly coloured pieces in the 3rd picture, and the dragon wings; they may be Galidor, but otherwise they're not LEGO. I hope this was of help to you, although I'll again remind you that it's unlikely you've got many complete sets in there.

New Zealand: "Where to find Lego"

If it matters to anyone ( ), Kmart has Ben 10 sets for sale at $19 each. Seeing as there's been no mention of it in this thread yet, has anybody found out if there is a giveaway set with Toyworld's National Lego Building Competition? -
I saw these last year at my NZ Kmart. I wanted to get the regular plush fig, but when I returned to the shop, all the hats had been stolen. They're very cute though, and hopefully they might be restocked some time in the future.

Before this thread falls away, I'll just thank LuxorV for making the Visual Dictionary prank. For those of you who found the joke somewhat cruel or depressing, lighten up - it was April Fools!

It was the Ignika in it's form from the VNOG. Hopefully this will come out before Hero Factory is released, else bookstores here may never import it... I'm not too keen for a junior encyclopedia, but I'll definitely buy it for the mask.

Isn't it just a case of the character William Blaze who rides the Furno Bike? Where's the confusion?

Also in the flyer, the Atlantis Shadow Snapper is exclusive to Toyworld ($49.99), as well as the new Pig-Tractor set ($69.99). -
Because of the movable limbs, I considered CGI, but the images look too photo-realistic. It would be a strange tactic for a company like Ghost to devote large amounts of rendering time to make images so realistic, then sacrifice the animation to look like medium-budget stop-motion (the animation is definitely at least made to look like stop-motion). Looking through the video again, at some points it looks like there is a black rod in the elbows of Tahu, which could mean customized bendable arms made for stop-motion.

Very well, topic closed!

Thanks Gunnar! I'll close this once MrBrickStudios confirms it's what he was looking for.

Thanks for the link PKN, it saves me from logging in and entering a code each time. This chapter was very good, and it's great to have both MU and BM characters experiencing the same events in one chapter, even if they're not together quite yet.

New Zealand: "Where to find Lego"

Thanks for the tip, you just saved me from buying one from overseas. -
I've merged these two topics together since they seem to be the same story. Let me know if you want the title changed to something else, but otherwise keep writing - it's great!
-
Flashbacks, for no apparent reason. The new artwork is nice, but it doesn't match the story at all. I'm in great anticipation of the next update though, which if continuing this flashback, should show 2001 Matoran life.
-
That would require a hug of sorts which I can't see being used as such a significant story device. (Although that did happen, but...)
-
Probably purely because there wouldn't be any ground conflict or posible sets for 2010 if that were the case. I agree that it would've been much better though. That was a great chapter, although I'm disappointed at the amount of powers the Prototype robot seems to have. Before now, gravity control could've come from Mata Nui (he shows this power in the script for BIONICLE 5), rather than the actual robot. If the prototype robot was made just to see if it would work, why are there so many time-consuming extra features installed?

Callum - do you know any details about the April Lego Building competition for Toyworld? Will there be a similar handout to the tractors last year? -
I think that was one of those on-the-spot decisions because he didn't have a problem with it. I personally don't see it fitting for Takua to be the oldest Matoran, when he's always been the "kid" of the story. There are people arguing that age isn't linked to maturity, but if the oldest guy in the universe is Kohlii-obsessed and has been a Toa for less than a year...

From my trip to the shops today, Atlantis Guardian of the Deep and Toy Story Zurg are non-exclusive sets, as I saw then in Farmers, Kmart and The Warehouse for $30 and $50 each. Farmers doesn't yet have it's exclusives ( ), and all four 2010 Power Miner sets are widely avaliable. -
That picture looks soo good! I just wish there was more variety in Makuta's ranks though.
-
It's a bit hard to see all details when the MOC is all black, so perhaps you could give the titan a secondary colour? The limbs could do with using more Bionicle elements rather than Technic parts, but the torso looks pretty nice. From the photos, the Av-matoran torso looks quite good being used as part of a larger body.

It's only fraud if people believe it. In this case, it's obviously a joke, made because Bohrok are so awesome (and this is our first Bohrok review )
-
Same here - for quite a while I looked at the Krana or the holes in the face-plate for the eyes of the Bohrok. Now that the eye-piece has been used as eyes in more obvious ways (such as Visorak), it's much easier to tell.
-
Thanks for sharing it with us! Given the amount of new pictures, it probably could be a promotional video for retailers, similar to the 2008 video that showed Mata Nui. The main things that stood out to me was the similarity between this new city an Metru Nui, and that citizens seem to be robotic too.

Ah, but have you ever swum in a bath of blue Bionicle parts?
