LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 14 Rumors and Discussion
8BrickMario replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I think this is strange...In Series 6, the Leprechaun introduced the round pot piece, which was compatible with a bucket handle, but it was never used with one until S14 years later. Did they plan that far ahead? -

Favorite Collectable Minifigure?
8BrickMario replied to Amazing Bricks's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Aaaand I just remembered how much I like the Egyptian Warrior and Lady Liberty. At this rate, I should just list the ones I don't like. -
Hopefully, the game's worth the money...

Lego Minifigures Series 15 Guessing Game
8BrickMario replied to Itaria No Shintaku's topic in Special LEGO Themes
LEGO's not that evil. At the most, minifigures will share the same piece or have similar-feeling ones, but LEGO would never make it impossible to distinguish one figure from another in the same series. -
Oh, boy. Remember the days when we had to pretend that out minifigure weapons shot things?
-
Yeah, it's new and it looks very interesting, if not unwieldy.

The one that showed Jestro?

I don't think these designs are particularly juvenile, or at least, not in the Juniors range. I rather enjoy the off-the-wall designs for some of these, but I don't see them as too childish. I'll need to see the official pictures to make a final judgement, though. There are other LEGO themes to satisfy older audiences, too, and other themes as well. There's something for everyone if you're willing to expand your horizons a bit. If not, feel good! You're saving money that could be used in a better way!

I understand, but I didn't know that Castle was restricted to its own niche, and wasn't allowed to be used to describe action themes...
-
I still don't understand why this isn't a Castle theme just because it's a bit sci-fi. Is it just that you hate the idea of this being grouped in with the other themes? Because I think it's totally Castle, just a very different take on it. Let's see. Castle building? Check. Knights? Check. Wizards? Check. Jesters? Check. Kings? Check. Historical elements? Not really.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 14 Rumors and Discussion

I went to one Walgreens, where the only one I needed was the Monster Rocker, and the price was a bit too high. However, at TRU, I found all four I was missing, instead of just one. I like the Plant Monster's colors and overall look quite a lot, and I'm very happy and relieved to have gotten everybody. Now I just need all of the Scooby-Doo sets, the Wicked Witch Fun Pack, and LEGO: I Love That Minfigure! -

You seriously could have a chance, after your recent drawings! -
Yeah, they're monsters from a burning lava realm...totally not demons! Brave move, LEGO. I've said it too many times, but I think "traditional" Castle needs a break. The last line was uninspired and stale, so maybe they should take some time off to figure out how to bring it back properly. LEGO isn't worried about this, becaue kids are far less likely to have a tantrum about a lack of regular Castle sets. If you want to keep Castle alive, keep building! Make MOCs out of existing sets to prove that the interest is still there.

By now, Boudon's drawings must be the most reposted things on the Internet. No CMF topic can go by without his ideas being mentioned/lusted after! -

Got a few more: The Evil Knight, Gingerbread Man, Caveman and Alien Villainess. The Caveman was my very first CMF, and all of them are great designs that I really like. I like way too many of these to have fewer than twenty "absolute favorites"! -

Where did my comment go? I was asking if Sci meant there was a new hourglass piece, hinting at a grim reaper. I don't get it. EDIT: Now I do. Not a good idea to fall asleep if you're a statue. -
I almost hope that sales are terrible. 1. So LEGO reduces the prices on anything to make it easier for collectors or 2. To end the game earlier and not five years' worth of sets to buy for it. I do understand the prices, though. Unlike Disney Infinity, most of the characters in Dimensions are not owned by LEGO, so licensing combined with technology adds a bit to the price tag, which also includes the LEGO pieces and minifigure(s).

I like King Nixel's "robe", and how his chair can be carried by his minions. I definitely only need Berp and Vaka-Waka, but I might get Forx and Wuzzo, too. I'll definitely try that mod on V-W once I get him. Waka is in charge of digestion, after all...

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 15 Rumors and Discussion

I feel like the centaur is definitely more likely in a set than as a CMF. Come on, LEGO! Make it official! The only thing keeping me from buying the unofficial centaur bodies was because they were unofficial. That wizard gnome would be really interesting, if we did get a proper staff. The Djinn/Evil Genie would be an instant must-have for me. I love evil characters. I think an Einstein-style figure might be possible with Doc Brown's new hair mold... -
Oh, those cheek pouches are great! Snax is one I will skip, but I really like that.

That cartoon devil would be a perfect way to reuse the Gargoyle wings, but LEGO wouldn't dare make it. Evil Genie/Djinn using the S13 turban would be amazing. Did you mean "new" hourglass piece? "Nee" in a woman's name refers to their maiden name, so I'm sure it was a typo. If so, then it's possible that we'd get some representation of Death. -
DC Superheroes 2016 - Rumors and Discussion

That cowl is nice, but not terribly exciting. Since it lacks the vital eyebrows and black forehead, that's not Adam West's cowl, at least, not the final version.- 8,446 replies

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 15 Rumors and Discussion

Huh. I learn something new every day. Greek Satyrs had horse ears and legs, but not bodies, but the Roman fauns changed it to goat legs and horns. The Roman version stuck, and the image became retroactively associated with the Satyr. So by today's standards, it's definitely a satyr even if it's a goat person.
