  1. There are too many figures in this series with genders that could go either way. But for females, the most likely are the Receptionist, Dancer, and Jewel Thief. Macy's dress looks a bit out-of-system, like the front and back of the skirt are offset by 1/2 of a stud. I think that's fine, as it keeps it from looking too flat, but practically, how does it work?
  2. Well, I got one right by guessing Classic Queen. Everything else was way off, though.
  3. Because I feel confident that the Classic Queen uses a 2x4 brick, I wonder what will occupy the two studs behind her torso? Will it be the cheese-slope "bow" as seen in Boudon's concepts?
  4. It's not a new piece at all. It just has seen limited usage. For those hoping for it to be a 1x4, you'll probably be disappointed. I think it would ruin the poofy look when viewed at any angle but head-on, and there wouldn't be a reason for it to be a new piece. A half-dome sounds okay, but dresses like that were rounded at all angles, so for LEGO, it should be blocky on all sides.
  5. Mystery solved. It seems that Macy won't be the one using the 2x4 rounded "dress brick", because the Series 15 Classic Queen will.
  6. So Sharky does have flipper arms! I TOTALLY NEED that Classic Queen. She's fantastic. And she does use the larger "dress brick!" Is that Calamity Drone's hair? I was so upset that I had missed it before! Clumsy Guy looks funny. The shirt is absolutely hilarious, and I love the crutches and bandage. Forget what I said earlier. Count me in! Now, why isn't it really the New Year yet? I can't wait that long!
  7. Now THAT sounds like my kind of figure. Four-armed Djinn...must-have.
  8. If "homme maladroit" was a classic silent-movie villain, I would buy too many. I love my black-and-white figures, but a klutz seems more likely. Why does no one think the jewel thief is female? I'd expect it to be Catwoman without the animal theme.
  9. None of those examples include humans for both molded and non-molded.
  10. IT's scariness has been ruined for by a certain online review, but this build is phenomenal!
  11. They were guessing about it being a pest control/insect exterminator.
  12. While Disney has made every version of a classic character a go-to, Alice has has a blue dress long before Disney. It just took a while for it to be solidified as the definitive color. I think the real issue here isn't accuracy, but a worry that the Disney figs won't work with regular minifigures. But since the Scooby figs look like standard LEGO, I don't see how a more normal 'fig face wouldn't work for many of these characters.
  13. Wow, "Minifigures with legs" sounds like a real advertising point! I know the translation left out "short", but it's still funny.
  14. * Winged Warrior: A proper pair of angelic wings would be great for future releases of Hawkman or Weeping Angels. Otherwise, they could go anywhere with him. * Klutz: I'm imagining someone with facial injuries, maybe broken glasses. I'd expect him to have something fragile, or a broken glass item, but a heavily bandaged patient makes just as much sense and would be more useful. * Robot: I'm seriously wondering what they could do. They've done two retro-style, two anime-style, and two toy-style. I swear, if it uses that ray gun again, I'm going to scream. * Receptionist: A hotel concierge makes less sense to me than an office secretary. We haven't had a proper hotel in a minifig theme, so she just highlights that. * Jewel thief: Hoping for a female cat-burglar, maybe with a new hairpiece or mask. A crowbar and a diamond seem like the most likely accessories. * Wrestling Champion: I think this one is unnecessary after El Macho in The LEGO Moviewas already a remade S1 Super Wrestler. * Satyr: Hoping against hope for unique legs, but not expecting them. Should have a new Pan pipes piece. * Animal Control: Probably going to be a zoo worker/ranger. Not interesting to me unless it has a new animal. * Astronaut: Hoping for a 1950s sci-fi style, as the modern space explorer and real-life astronauts have been done several times over. * Kendo Warrior: As if the Ninjago piece wasn't used enough. Probably a skip for me.
  15. I'm hoping this knight is monstrous or otherworldy instead of a threatening human. I'm wondering exactly how many new parts there will be. I'm hoping for some on the Queen and Robot, but we don't know enough. I feel bad that I'm feeling so meh about a series, but so far, I can't get too excited. C'mon, factories! Subvert LEGO's rules!
  16. Wow, I can't wait to build the Wither Wither and reenact the fight against the Wither Wither!
  17. All I know is that it's a futuristic animated show set in a location from the Disney parks...
  18. Eros never did any fighting. I doubt it'll be classical mythology, more like modern fantasy. I like the sound of another robot as long as it's unique, and the evil knight sounds promising. I'm guessing the Queen is a "Classic Queen" to match the S13 King. So I'll need her. "Female dancer" is incredibly vague, so no expectations there. The astronaut sounds cool, and I'm sure the Klutz will be a fun design. I also like the sound of a jewel thief. Overall, this series isn't hyping me up too much, but if the designs are great, I'll definitely give it some money.
  19. I think the molded heads issue is very complicated. Some characters might look better with them (Hook and the Old Hag would seem diluted in appearance if they tried to use regular heads), but some don't need them at all, like Peter Pan, and some of the more realistic humans.
  20. What's with all these fake red/black Batmen showing up everywhere? I wish there was something useful leaked there, like a certain pigtail hair to end our speculation.
  21. I actually want all of those figures you just described. I would love a second Monsters series...please don't hurt me.
  22. I wonder how they'll do Mickey's shoes. I think dual-molded legs wouldn't allow for his pants, legs, and shoes to be represented on one pair of legs.
  23. You're right, it looks like a top-down space shuttle. Which means it'd be a 2-D facade like the Phoenix Temple if it were made into a real set.
  24. Not every character would require a molded head, but it might be a bit awkward to mix molded and standard, especially since that would leave some of the minifigures with noses and some without.
  25. The fat little Scurriers are demonically cute. I like the sound of the Fortrex. A round table is nice, but why is there a Book of Evil, too? What's next? A Book of Magic? A Book of Power? A Book of Classic Castle Fans who Hate Nexo Knights (Not That There's Anything Wrong With That)?
