  1. I went to TRU today and they had the Blackbird, and Showdown and Escape GotG sets. No Milano. I'd love a new DC game, but why would they make it? It seems like it would just be a new story and mostly the same characters.
  2. I'm hoping this is a build-a-minifigure type event with characters like Michelangelo and other MBs at Cloud Cuckoo Land (Maybe even GL!), but the "inspired by MetalBeard" part is odd.
  3. Everyone wants X-Men, not Ultimate Spider-man, but LEGO may make the Four first, since there have been two X-Men sets, and none of the Fantastic 4, despite Doctor Doom's appearance in a Spider-man set.
  4. Ironically, Playmobil fans complain about their fairytale princesses being done to death! C. Drone's hair would be welcome for a second usage, but LEGO doesn'y do pink and poofy princesses. Theirs have always had a regal-ish dignity (besides their tendency to get kidnapped).
  5. Possibly, but Diana/Artemis wasn't known for battle. She was the goddess of hunting, nature, and the moon. Considering that they do research on their concepts, I don't think they would make the mistake of characterizing her as a battle goddess. Athena is more likely, but it may be a typical RPG-style character.
  6. Neither of those two fit the description very well. The blue Lady would be in a Castle theme, but not as a "Fairytale Princess".
  7. You're right, it doesn't . That minifigure should have used a new helmet rather than the overused hood, and the legs could have had the silver details as well.
  8. I've seen them both at TRU a couple of weeks ago, but I didn't know their release dates were supposedly separate.
  9. That would be great to see that hat piece again, but most modern princesses aren't known for that. I'm thinking she'll be really pink. I would want the Jester to get a new hat with three tails instead of the existing piece.
  10. That Sakaaran's gun feels very un-LEGO-like to me. The set looks good, though, with some nice play features and builds. I'll consider it.
  11. What's wrong with Rocket's color? You guys have to remember that the characters look very different in the film, and that LEGO sometimes uses preliminary information for their designs (IM3, anyone?) Here's a concept art of film Rocket, and in the trailer footage, he's grayish as well, not really brown enough to be Reddish Brown:
  12. I had the exact same idea (on the Brickset discussion), and made a very similar custom! I wonder what this "Spooky Girl" is. Many think she's goth, but I would hope for her to be a ghost or some other supernatural figure. The Genie Girl styled similarly to "I Dream of Jeannie" would be excellent, and maybe we'd get a stylized bottle instead of the S6 lamp (or even the existing one in solid purple with a gem in the end and gold detailing). If she does have the "harem-girl" genie style, she should come with the smoky tail and a pair of legs with puffy pants printed on them.
  13. Rocket's tail isn't the same as the cat tail, but works the same way. Drax is green in the comics. In the movie, he's greenish/bluish/gray. I think gray is the best since it's neutral, and I doubt it's because he would resemble MM. In the video game, Drax looks lighter than Manhunter is.
  14. That Sakaaran has a really creepy face. It looks like it would eat your soul. I noticed that the poster of those pics called Gamora "Nebula".
  15. True, we already had Wolverine, and we got Storm and Cyclops, but the Blackbird isn't full yet. LEGO needs to make Jean Grey and Professor X soon. X-Men hasn't gotten the set recogniton it deserves.
  16. I think his regular body looks better, since the whole thing about him is that he's slowly turning into acid in different parts. Just my opinion.
  17. You're right. I thought the set was movie-based (somehow, don't know why), and assumed it was to match, but it just seems to be slightly different comic designs. The only difference is the hair which could be better, but is fine as is. I still like her, though her "storm eyes" face doesn't appeal to me much,
  18. I just noticed that in the cheapest sets Solomon Blaze appears in in GS and UA, the verb "intercept" is in the set name in some way: Swarm Interceptor and Infearno Interception. Weird coincidence.
  19. It's not a physical minifigure. Just a rendering. We're talking real minifigure mixing here.
  20. Awesome review. I like the Sentinel's dance moves! The Blackbird looks really great, and Storm is probably my favorite minifigure, and she's one of my favorite X-Men, too. It's nice to see a neutral black female face (Stass Allie had purple eyes), and I love her arm-cape. I would have preferred a comic version, but it matches the movie well, and it's nice to see the hairpiece in white.
  21. A yellow minfigure does not appear alongside Vitruvius in the Everything is Awesome edition, so that one doesn't really count.
  22. 3 times-Batman's in the Dropship. But I really, really, don't care about mixing the two.
  23. Doesn't look like it, though. I doubt they would revive a classic villain(unfortunately), and it may even be a silhouette with no explanation at all. It's very unlikely that this theme would have any sort of connection to Ninjago, since this seems to be futuristic, while Ninjago is pseudo-old Japanese-ish.
  24. I can't wait to see the Series 3 Max Mixels!
  25. There's an upcoming sequel, so we'll probably be seeing them again in a few years. If it does focus on the DUPLO aliens, does that mean we'll see both System and DUPLO bricks in the same sets?
