  1. I don't think they will, but I just never liked how Harley got sexified for the New 52. The more modest design (from Batman 3) appealed to me more. I hope she'll have a mallet. It's a simple touch that she lacked in the Funhouse. I just wonder why they chose her first New 52 design over the more current and recognizable red/blue with the gray mascara and all.
  2. Yeah, I typed that on a different device and rushed to my computer to provide the picture link you're referring to. Even the shape of the pigtails is a perfect match for that picture.
  3. Before seeing the picture I thought "Ehh, sounds okay." But now having seen it, those legs are great, except for the white-on-red. So is she 52? I would prefer her pigtails to be the split colors (red/black) instead of blonde... EDIT: She is indeed from the new comics, and those legs are identical to this image. I'm surprised that the more common red/dark blue (which I would have preferred, it's more colorful) wasn't used. I just hope she's not as sexy as the comics. I preferred the covered belly shown in LEGO Batman 3. I'm guessing if she matches the picture in more ways, she'll have two-tone arms for short sleeves and then gloves.
  4. No. The Helicarrier is an exclusive set that will only be sold through LEGO. The other sets will be available at retail and do not deserve the special attention. We'll get official news later in the year, but we're hoping Toy Fair will show us something.
  5. That rotor mechanism is great. Do I spot the One Ring in Black for the car wheels? The trophies for the characters inside are cool, but the minfigures lack since they reuse faces. I never knew Wonder Woman joined SHIELD. I love how they made the control room windows underneath, too.
  6. Or maybe they thought "Some people only buy the Minifigures from a specific category, like monsters, so why don't we try a series full of monsters and see if it sells?"
  7. I hope the Creeper and Captain Cutler are in our future. The only problem is that LEGO would need to develop a new lens (shaped like a grate) for Cutler's helmet. It would be great in Spring Green, but perhaps they could make it glow, too. Perhaps the Ghost Clown could happen.
  8. Well, there's the Helicarrier. Where's Jokerland? I know, the news isn't from Toy Fair, but I wish we at least had some way of knowing whether or not to expect DC pictures.
  9. Oddly, no. Is the fair still running tomorrow? If we don't get pictures of any of the Super Heroes sets, I'll be concerned. I heard nothing along the lines of "no pictures allowed" for Marvel and DC.
  10. I like the vampire's cape a lot. The collar looks good, and the red color inside is nice and striking. His face is nice and creepy with the red mouth, yellow eyes and cheekbones. Looking at the collar of the cape, it looks like it's a separate piece, rather than the double-fold style of the CMF and MF Vampires. I wonder what his coffin will look like. Hopefully it won't be identical to the Monster Fighters one. And I expect the Mummy's sarcophagus to be different (in color, at least) from the gold/blue Pharaoh's Quest ones. I hope the Black Knight has nothing else on his head except those eyes. That head could be really useful for hooded creatures.
  11. I wonder why we haven't seen anything yet. I heard that photos weren't allowed for the Scooby-Doo and Star Wars sets, but not DC.
  12. I feel that way too. It captures the spirit, look, and creativity of the classic show, and it gives us more LEGO monster minifigures! Here's a great closeup of the evil Count: He looks fantastic, doesn't he? His face reminds me of the classic Studios vampire.
  13. It's LEGO taking advantage of a serendipitous opportunity: to have a spooky theme (Scooby-Doo) and a monster series of Minifigures running simultaneously in time for Halloween. I'm positive the theme will pick back up after this one. It's not the end of the world, since I'm sure this is testing the waters, and more normal series are to come. You certainly don't have to get anything you don't like. The completionist attitude is sort of silly if it ends up wasting you money on things you don't like. I gave up completing series a while ago, since I realized there were characters I didn't want or have use for. I like monsters and Halloween enough to want this whole series, however. I'll still get the Rocker Monster, because his stitched brow looks better than clothespins or band-aids, and he'd be great for my monster party scene at the Haunted House. I don't care much for the Skeleton Boy, but I still appreciate his concept. I've chosen to ignore characters like the Mountain Climber or Bumblebee Girl, since I didn't really care about them. Don't feel tied down by completionism, and don't assume this is the downfall of the CMFs. There will be more assorted series in the future. Honestly, I'd sorta like to gripe about the Simpsons S2, but I'll just wait it out.
  14. We don't know that for sure. That Castle rumor has no confirmation. Why is it so awful and tragic that this series is numbered? It still takes up the slot of time as a non-numbered series. Would the LEGO Movie series be so awful if it had been Series 12?
  15. From what I've heard, the Horseman is the only monster in this theme who is a human and designed to be "unmasked". The Vampire's white head and the Zombie's baldness rule out them being humans, and the Mummy should be bald too. I don't recall if the Lighthouse Keeper was a human, but he could have a double-sided head if his hair or beard are wild enough. Seems like this theme chose more of the real monsters and fewer of the disguised criminals.
  16. The construction ones are the yellow/grey tribe we heard about. The brown/gold steampunk tribe is the next series.
  17. I thought that looked like Lunk, too. What happened to the Frosticons?
  18. I don't know. This guy has been taking pictures, though, so he's a good place to check.
  19. I wonder why the Glorp Corp dragonfly looks so much like Flurr. Are they running out of ideas? They must have known how similar they'd look.
  20. There's still tomorrow. Perhaps the fair isn't completely set up yet, and so we don't have complete coverage. It's not officially beginning until tomorrow.
  21. There are other places, but nothing's popped up for a while. It's sort of disappointing that each section only got one or two pictures.
  22. It's an attempt at hype that the leak ruined (because they showed the figs and disappointed people). They've done it for a while now, and it's quite annoying.
  23. Interesting that the Break Jaw helmet is gold.
  24. Oh my gosh! I just saw that! That stomach face is great! This is why I love this theme. So many kooky and creative monster designs.
