  1. She's got powers. She doesn't care about temperature. Either that, or the artists have no concern for Raven's well-being and decided to forgo realism. I wonder how they would make a boomerang piece for Captain Boomerang. Would it be like the banana with a bar on the end, just flat?
  2. I think that tried too hard to be funny. Once I saw the name Brad Wurst, I knew it was just too much to be a legitimately funny joke. It was slightly amusing, but just not funny enough.
  3. Forx's eyebrows are dark grey banana pieces!
  4. Well, we are getting Trickster. Now to get Reverse Flash and Mirror Master (for the latter, I see a set with a ton of chromed stickers!)
  5. This may very well be the final UA wave. They're not marketing this theme as a franchise like Ninjago or (soon to end) Chima, and it's not licensed, so I can't see it going further than the upcoming wave of sets. Did anyone notice the shark fin of the gold-helmeted villain in the Portal Hideout?
  6. Okay, I'm scared. I know I'm too late to be saved when I'm defending how Raven should be designed as a minifigure ("No she needs her hood up"). I can't help it, though. She's cool, an interesting character, and a potentially great minifigure. I guess my obsession with collecting as many comic-based DC figs as possible is still here. Now that I've got a complete JL for now, I guess I'll campaign for a complete set of Teen Titans (and more Bat-rogues, please)!
  7. But Raven doesn't wear a hoodie. She wears a cloak. The Wyldstyle hood wouldn't look good on her, and she's most recognized with the hood up, eyes in shadow and glowing. If she is an SDCC minifigure, it's a guarantee she won't stay that way. Arrow and Green Lantern appeared in the JL wave based on the comics after the exclusive versions (movie and TV show designs) were released. If Raven's an SDCC exclusive, maybe a TTG version would be in sets afterward to keep the team's designs cohesive. It could go both ways, though, since Cyborg's minifigure is based on his appearance as a JL member in the New 52, not as a member of the Titans on the TV show. They could make a new version of him, though, and recolor his helmet in light blue...
  8. Well, after the LB3 fans harassed LEGO and TT about Raven, they have to know we want her in sets. And yeah, I want her more and more these days, to complete the Titans at the very least. If she came in a cheap set or poly, I would get several. Purple hoods could be useful!
  9. It's pretty clear that she's a vampire. A spider lady would have some pretty freaky mandibles. But she does have a lovely theme. I hope her accessory isn't just the same old spider we get in every haunted/dilapidated building set, though.
  10. List of potential DC revolts: Give us Raven! Give us Killer Moth! Give us an accurate New 52 Harley Quinn!!! Give us Raven!
  11. Or a castle zombie! They could use the pumpkin head for a creepy scarecrow. I would seriously love a classic Bride of Frankenstein. I don't think a swamp monster's likely, but a female mummy could reuse the Egyptian Queen hairpiece.
  12. Yes, but don't worry. A few months ago, I had no idea who she was (heresy, I know ). But I've been trying to become a bigger DC fan, mostly due to LB3 and the JL sets, so thanks, LEGO! Now that you've taught me about the comics, I know to be upset that your version of New 52 Harley Quinn has a jester's hat!
  13. Raven isn't impossible. We've had recolored hoods, with Dark Red being the most recent. Violet wouldn't be difficult. Either the LB3 or TTG designs would be possible, Raven has stayed consistent design-wise for everything, so it doesn't matter.
  14. I hope not. But there's nothing saying she can't be an SDCC exclusive...she doesn't require any new parts... I'm tempted to start a Harley's Pigtails revolution myself...
  15. That would be great, but LEGO rarely releases expansion sets explicitly designed to go with previous sets. If Jokerland is a big seller, then it's entirely possible to get a set with Hatter and spinning teacups and Raven (because Jokerland's a set with the Titans in it) in the future. I just hope that if Harley doesn't turn out to have the pigtails in the set that it means she will be in a cheaper set with them. Because I still don't feel like letting LEGO off the hook. What I'm saying is, cross your fingers that Jokerland's popular, because it could lead to Raven! (Darn it, psqid, now you got me wanting her too!)
  16. So? Starfire has a revealing outfit. Harley has a revealing 52 outfit. LEGO doesn't let that stop them. They used the TTG design for Starfire, and made Harley's look more like an acrobat suit by covering her stomach. I'm sure they'd find a way to make Raven a bit more modest.
  17. Before we saw pics, I was hoping Hatter would be in the set with a spinning teacups ride, how perfect would that be?
  18. Agreed with Harley. I prefer the TTG Robin to Stephanie (who I preferred in her multiple other heroic roles) and a new Joker would have been nice, instead of a mix between the 2012 and Steam Roller versions. I don't think the Riddler nor a booth for him needed to be in this set, since both were in the Funhouse. I would have appreciated a new Poison Ivy (in Spring Green), the hair on Harley (it exists-aargh! Why not use it?!?!) and perhaps a slightly different Penguin or a Scarecrow attraction.
  19. I think Beast Boy is my least favorite of the new figures. Both of his faces bug me, and his skin is too dark. Bright or even Lime Green would have been better.
  20. It's a full coffin. The Brick Show video shows that. Shame about the double heads, though- I would have preferred extra heads.
  21. It's a Technic ball. It fits under the dome, it has no lip underneath it but it attaches to a stud. I don't know why I thought one wouldn't fit, but I just grabbed a Mixel eyeball and tried it. The light at the top of the dome is distorting it. I'm guessing the color is trans-neon orange.
  22. That's what I thought, too, but it wouldn't fit inside the bell jar. The piece would have to be new, a minifigure head, or a 1x1 round brick.
  23. Johnny Thunder appears on a sticker in the Mummy set. The Prospector's in the Mansion.
  24. Has anyone considered messaging a mod instead of spamming the topic?
  25. I've been looking at the Jokerland clown's eyebrows, and I don't recognize the grey pieces the plant stalks are attached to. It looks like a right-angled piece with two bars, since one is in the headlight bricks, and the plant stalks aren't attached by studs...Those aren't faucets or sideways lightsaber hilts, although the molding looks rather mechanical. New piece? Or just a Technic part I don't know? NEW PLAY FEATURE? I think there's a way to make the eyes spin! The two eye tiles are not connected on four studs. Note the two pink 1x2 or 1x4 plates behind the eyes, and the empty-looking sockets behind them. The direction the eyes are looking at the Toy Fair would be impossible on a four-stud base, as the pupill will always be looking slightly to the left or the right. Wouldn't it be cool if there was a gearing mechanism inside the head to make the eyes spin around? It would be suitably creepy and kooky, and I think the head is hollow since the eye sockets look deep.
