  1. Nope, none today. But I had my eye on that Hulkbuster.
  2. That's not going to happen, especially when the pictures weren't intended for release. But it's one themed series that's trying to take advantage of having a lot of Halloween LEGO out at the same time. I never saw anyone complaining about the Monster Fighters villains being obvious rehashes of the CMFs, but here, there's a lot of hatred for characters that on the whole, look vastly different from their previous counterparts. I seriously doubt this will continue, and it's not the end of the world. I'm mad about a second Simpsons series, but I'll wait it out. If you don't like them, don't buy them. I personally love monsters and am excited to get some more. There are people who like these, and not everything LEGO makes will have universal appeal. I would probably be unhappy with S14 if it was a Pirates series, since it's a theme I have minimal interest in, but I wouldn't freak out and proclaim the doom of LEGO and my hatred for the series. LEGO's just trying for a cash-grab that will allow Scooby-Doo and Halloween CMFs to share shelf space.
  3. Quicksilver looks really good, but I do wish his legs weren't so bland.
  4. That's missing the point. It would be great to have an official (and up to modern printing standards) Stan Lee minifigure (like the one in the LEGO Marvel game). It would make perfect sense, because he's the reason we have Marvel, and Stan the Man loves to make his cameos...I'm sure he's love a minifigure of himself to put on his desk!
  5. The bag will be a large round object with a tangible bar, and the pointy Goblin hat will be a good piece to search for, too. The large curved sword can work, too.
  6. That makes a lot of sense. They're saving Cutler, the Space Kook and the Ghost Clown (for example) for future waves. PLEASE let there be future waves!
  7. That could be. The LEGO Scooby episode could have necessitated the Mummy and Swamp Monster. But if no one recognizes the monster or his Penguin-lookalike identity, then I would guess it's from the new show. Honestly, I think the theme is a mismarketed umbrella, taking inspiration from many sources. Horseman, Zombie, Black Knight, Vampire-directly taken from Scooby-Doo, Where Are You? Swamp Monster-? Most likely from new show/LEGO-exclusive design for TV special Mummy-Could be an amalgam of various designs or a new monster from the new show, if the other face is Dr. Najib, than it's the Mummy of Ankha Lighthouse Keeper-Takes inspiration from Creepy Keeper, but with no hat and a white face instead of a tan skull-like head, potentially a redesign for new show Ghost- Filler character, but potentially from various sources. The criminal in disguise should determine the version as well.
  8. It's supposed to be Where Are You? but some things definitely don't match up.
  9. I didn't know Oswald Cobblepot enjoyed dressing as a swamp monster in his spare time! Boy, would Batman be surprised! But seriously speaking, does that human face give us any info as to which swamp monster this one is? Anyone recognize the crook? I LOVE the swamp monster face, by the way. You could use it for so many things. A purple demon, a purple troll, a purple ogre...It's a shame its torso is so plain. For the Zombie, I would guess at a extra head. I wonder how they'll print the Keeper's head. Printing Flesh on a glowing head would be sort of awkward, wouldn't it? Just giving a second look at the alternate faces, it almost looks like the monsters are wearing human masks for Halloween!
  10. Probably not. The FF have been pulled from Marvel for now as a protest to Fox owning the rights (and Marvel no longer wants them to). Basically, until Marvel gets the rights back, we're not seeing FF comics, Marvel Studios movies, or LEGO sets and minifigures. (Did I get that right?)
  11. Depends on the person. She'd be highly desirable to adults who grew up with the show, and if she was a Juniors fig, she would 1. allow LEGO to make more profit off of the mold by letting them mass-produce the hairpiece in a set and 2. not take up space in the DC theme proper. Raven, on the other hand, does not require any new molds, and so they wouldn't be missing any opportunities to make back the cost of creating a new piece. (For LEGO, she would be a guilt-free exclusive. But because they've made the other Titans, I can't see them neglecting to make Raven.)
  12. It will be sold in Target like the last one, and it seems like a summer release.
  13. We've spent a good amount of time discussing the technical aspects of how his legs could include boots and how the set's not worth the figure. Look back a couple of pages.
  14. Please. Don't ruin it! (Honestly, though, I can't see them designing a new piece for a character who would only wind up as an exclusive that no one could get. I think a Newmar Catwoman is more likely to be a Juniors figure like classic Green Goblin. Both of their headgear pieces were used in CMF series, and both are difficult for LEGO to make in the mainstream sets (Newmar because she doesn't fit, Goblin because Marvel/Disney wants USM sets). Although if Jokerland means anything, that hairpiece wasn't for a Catwoman fig at all! "Silly fans! Thinking we're going to use the perfect piece on a character who would look great with it!"
  15. If those missing set numbers are unrevealed DC sets for the next winter wave, it's always possible we'll see Bizarro (or Raven). Next to GL, he has to be the most desired SDDC figure that people want for set release. It would make sense, too, so casual consumers could put Batzarro and Bizarro together.
  16. I'm just hoping they're not saving the hairpiece for the summer-event-that-must-not-be-named (also known as "the best way to make a LEGO collector feel pain").
  17. On Brickset, someone speculated that they're going to use the pigtails on a Suicide Squad version of Harley. I don't think they would make sets for the movie, though, due to branding issues. Of course, I'm just hoping that the piece means a third version of New 52 Harley (with the proper hair) is upcoming. Maybe it'll be the red/blue version (similar to the LB3 one)?
  18. For me, the Helicarrier is completely unnecessary to buy. The only exclusive character is a new torso with Wonder Woman's head common legs and an easy to get hairpiece, and one of the best minifigures (Black Widow) can be found in a considerably cheaper and more playable set. I feel like the Helicarrier is a clumsy combination of "play" and "display" and should have stayed with one or the other to make it more impressive.
  19. When you look closer, it's not. It's closer to the Pharaoh's Quest mummies. The CMF mummy has green skin showing everywhere, and a worried face. I noticed the Creepy Keeper's head glows in the dark, based on the greenish tinge. I do like the mystery swamp monster, but I feel like the chest printing is too cartoonish and simplified to fit with other System minifigures.
  20. The Lady Cyclops has nothing to do with Greek mythology, but I think she's a hilarious design. LEGO knows exactly how silly it looks, that's why they did it. Grumpy cyclops face? Meh. Grumpy cyclops face with makeup? Silly and entertaining.
  21. Maybe one day LEGO will have an excuse to make Arnim Zola, too.
  22. That makes a lot more sense.
