    This is how it's done. Once the first of April is over, the AFD j0ke ends. I guess the EB staff decided to end it more quickly because there weren't outcries or debates to enjoy reading. Gotta go change my avatar... Hey, guys...ya need to go the whole way. Change back the filter, please!

    Wow! It's an amazingly different reaction this time. Last time, the reskin used cultural stereotypes and everyone complained, but when a huge entertainment company takes over, everyone goes along. Make notes, this is how you rebrand the site for AF Day.

    One thing I would like about this situation is the possibility for a Magic Kingdom theme of sets based on attractions from the parks. That would be a major upside!

    Wow. So the movie has nothing to do with the comics at all. Okay. Y'know, the comics introduced new characters for the Squad to fight. Why does the movie have to rely on established rogues with no relevance to the Squad? I just read volume 1 of the new Harley Quinn series. I love the series, but I'm afraid it did nothing but reinforce my pet peeve of this year's sets. But now I'm wondering why they didn't use the New 52 Ivy in Jokerland. It's not like the facial tattoos or bodysuit would be difficult to make. It may not be my favorite Ivy outfit, but at least it'd be new...

    Joker has nothing to do with the Squad (the writers of the comic series were practically forced to tie the book into "Death of the Family") but Harley's a key member. Harley and Deadshot are the two that immediately come to mind when I think of the Squad. I think Boomerang's not as emphasized, really. So a set focused on the Squad should not include the Joker. As for the hyenas, the only way I can think of making them without a new mold would be a cheap Warg recolor.

    No, it's about unique figures. Nowhere in the description did it say it was focused on rare or exclusive figs. It's talking about the first double-sided head (Quirrell) and peg legs, not only the figs nobody will be able to get.

    DotF Joker, no. But his face grew back for Endgame. Not that his design is that different, though. It wouldn't justify a minifig.

    I can't believe they would be delayed. They made CMF S14 to coincide with these sets, so why change the release? I think it's just a rumor and a typo (the 6 key is right next to the 5, after all).

    No, it's dark red. But Ariel's hair is quite voluminous and matches Batgirl's hair color.

    The exceptions are Natasha, who uses Wyldstyle's ABS hair in blond, and Farran, who has a new male ABS hairpiece. But yes, female mindolls generally have rubbery hair, while males use pre-existing ABS hair.

    I'm just not ruling anything out. I certainly appreciate Starfire's new costume, but I'm not entirely sure that DC is going to make every female heroine more modest. You can never be sure, but they seem to want wider appeal, so I think it's optimistic for the female costumes.
