  1. Were we correct in thinking the Hydra Fortress was a waste of parts? Or that it should have been bigger?
  2. Okay, that makes sense. I'm not too well-versed in Middle-earth landmarks.
  3. The warrior statues in the cliff. Unless it's a Mythology/CMF world and those are Spartan Warriors?
  4. Where's the white torso on 3? I see red.
  5. Ninjago, Erebor, Tower of Barad-dur, Cloud Cuckoo Land, and Gotham. Cool. Why is Gotham City in Daylight?
  6. Okay, guys. I didn't know there was a Thomas following. But that isn't really Marvel... I got the Avengers Tower a while ago, and I really like it. The two flaws would be that the Iron Legion racks are too loose (they slide out too easily) and that there's nothing locking the tower together when closed. (I just use a roof slope to seal it.) Otherwise, it's a fun set with some nice features.
  7. You're right. I meant to type the number 23.
  8. What does licensing have to do with anything? It's been confirmed that WB and LEGO roped Fox into the game, and I think the pic makes it very clear that they are Simpsons characters. Picture 34 is quite clear. Yellowish head, teal hair, pink shirt, lime pants-that's definitely Krusty. I don't really think Unicorn Girl either, but it's a tall white blur...who else could it be? There's been no evidence of CMFs in the game at all. Arctic Batman, maybe?
  9. I think the alternate GG face is fine. An angry face would have been much better, but at least the figure captures his maniacal side. I'm okay with the legs, but the shape at the bottom is all wrong. Legs printed like the bikini bottoms on the female lifeguard would have fit better. But is the Goblin Bright Green? The new pic makes it look that way. That might just save the figure for me (and it could have been used for Beast Boy, too.)
  10. These are the ones I could identify. 1. Marty McFly 2. Homer Simpson 3. Bartman 5. Wicked Witch 6. Scooby 7. Shaggy 8. Jay 9. Kai 10. Cole 13. Joker 14. Harley Quinn 15. Unicorn Girl? 16. Superman 17. Aquaman 19. Wonder Woman 20. Cyborg 21. Bart Simpson 22. Cyborg with yellow armor? LB3 Space Suit? 24. Benny 34. Krusty the Clown 42. Lloyd
  11. I see Bartman next to Homer. Orange body, blue legs, purple head and a cape. The one next to Joker is definitely Harley
  12. I think LEGO has the best chance, since these are actual toys, not just molded statuettes. Certainly fits the toys-to-life name better.
  13. Simpsons will certainly be in Dimensions. The New York Times report mentioned Fox characters in it,
  14. Is that sarcasm? The tree's placement doesn't matter. It's almost a perfect match! Someone on the game's thread said they thought Shaggy and Scooby appeared on the blurry pic on the top of the Starter Pack's box.
  15. I assumed it was two faces, since they differed so significantly. The New York Times report on Dimensions mentioned that Fox licensing plays a role, so Simpsons are all but confirmed. I'm confused by the figs on the Starter Pack box. According to all official info, the pack only includes Gandalf, Batman, and Wyldstyle. Is it a checklist for other available packs? I second the motion. Ultra Agents characters in the game would be beyond amazing to play as! Considering the longevity of the theme (supposedly ending after the third wave), it might not happen.
  16. I'd prefer the Batman to be the serious Batman from his own series, not the LEGO Movie one. LEGO worlds have been non-brick-built for almost every game except the LEGO Movie game. For the supposed scope of this, it would take way too long to render everything out of bricks.
  17. I prefer actual licensed designs. though. It's clear that the S2 Witch was a substitute for the times when LEGO didn't foresee an Oz license. But I'm still crossing my fingers for Dorothy (and Toto), the Scarecrow, Tin Man, and Cowardly Lion to make physical appearances. It's a shame about no Disney-related characters, but considering the game style itself, it would be like Mega B@$*s asking LEGO to create sets for them.
  18. I don't do too much online shopping, as I prefer getting sets in-store. I'll keep an eye out, though.
  19. Do I spot a golden "grapple" handle on the machinery in that picture of Jay? Two-Face would be a neat little set, but it wouldn't be new to me. The ridiculous price of the starter pack comes from the amount of figures included, the game itself, and the technology to make the gimmick work. So it has to be that expensive if the player wants to do something with the game before buying the extra packs to expand gameplay.
  20. I'd say Batwing. I'm still kicking myself for not getting it, even though I have no need for an extra Batman or Joker.
  21. I am so excited for this theme. It seems to get better and better. So far, no. The bases are the real important pieces. The models and figures just show what's being imported into the game, but the stands themselves are what transmit the models/figs.
  22. There's an obvious reason this game is not available for PC- the entire toys-to-life gimmick wouldn't work! Computers are not created so toy figures can be transferred into video games, so that's why Dimensions does not have a PC version.
  23. I don't think LEGO would make them fixed to the bases. The fact that they're labeled implies that the magic is in the stands and that the figures can be removed. It would be strange for LEGO to make them attached to the stands, especially since they're trying to change the toys-to-life genre, which makes it seem that they are making the figures actual toys and not static figurines.
  24. The Flickr link has comments saying he's a villain named Lord Vortech. So, essentially a Western-looking AntiMatter?
  25. I would hope so, otherwise, it's not worth my time. It seems like it's going to be an open-world system on a much larger scale than before.
