MOC/MOD: ES co. Retro Steam Locomotive
Pop Bumper Pete replied to Electricsteam's topic in LEGO Train Tech
This train would predate the early 4.5 volt motors but a PF battery box would easily fit in a carrage If I was trying for the retrolook, I would build a black coal car for the battery box @OP, you need to get different windows for the carages, I can see through those :p -
Nice looking engine :)

What's your recent LEGO Star Wars Purchase?
Pop Bumper Pete replied to KimT's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Since they are releasing Jaba's sail barge later in the year, I picked up a second Desert Skiff (9496) so I can set up a proper display While I was at it I also bought Hoth Echo Base (7879) mainly so I would score a Chewbacca and a Tauntaun :) -
People go through phases I am here because the hobby I have been enjoying for the last 30 years stopped being fun. so I decided to unpack all my Lego and see where this journey takes me If any hobby stops being fun you should put it away and explore something else for a while. If you come back, great. if you go in another direction, maybe you will take something from this hobby to the next one Above all else, have fun!! Pete

G'day I better start at the begining one of my earlier Lego sets was 171 Train Set Later would come 7745 HighSpeed city Express Passenger Train And now that my love for Lego has been re-ignited, I have just purchased the 10219 Maersk Container Train this is a beautiful train I have also bought the motor, battery pack, IR controler and reciever I know this does not get a lot of love here but I like that the engine always has power avaliable and thus runs smooth I have been reading up of all the MOC's that peole have created and I am awestruck by what has been done See you around Pete

The desert skiff looks great and has great minifigs. But the Tie fighter is a great size, solid build, and when you pick it up you can feel like you can destroy those pesky rebels ! Tie Fighter for the win and an honorable mention for Lobot and his Twin Pod cloud Car
