LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 18 Rumors and Discussion
General Magma replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
A line-up of reworked classic figures would've been much more interesting for this LEGO anniversary year. I hope they'll have some Western figures in one of the next ones again, at least. -
EB Xmas Raffle 2017 - Your ideal Christmas tree entry thread
General Magma replied to CopMike's topic in LEGO Town
The Christmas Tree Troll When your war troll turns pacifist to celebrate the festive season, there's nothing much you can do other than allow him to dress up as your loyal Christmas troll - I mean, tree - and celebrate with him. -
I'm guessing that battle on the "white sand" planet (haha, it's not snow, it's sand, and it just happens to be white sand, but it isn't really snow, so totally not similar!) is going to be Battle of Hoth 2.0. Looks pretty good otherwise, but I'm not gonna judge anything else from the trailer. We'll have to see how the movie turns out 2 months from now. I'm just not too keen on Abrams directing IX, the ANH similarities of TFA weren't the only issues with that movie... far from it.

Rules and tips for selling MOC instructions?
General Magma replied to General Magma's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Thank you, I shall try it there. Also, you (and anyone else (is/)) are free to purchase a manual off of me, or to first have a peek at the list of parts, if you wish. -
Rules and tips for selling MOC instructions?

Mhm, fair enough. And I don't think it's cracked, upon feeling it it just seems to be some kind of mark that I had't noticed up until now. -
Rules and tips for selling MOC instructions?
General Magma replied to General Magma's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Fair ideas, I'll look into it in any case. I've never really used LDD before, so I made the instructions by taking pictures (using my DSLR camera) of the build step by step, showing the actual pieces and I felt that was an appropriate way of clearly showing what goes where, etc. - a little sample chunk out of a page: https://gyazo.com/63d4c5d2a678816d01014a389464ed08 -

Rules and tips for selling MOC instructions?
General Magma posted a topic in General LEGO Discussion
Hey all, I have recently, after hours of work on it, completed the instruction manual (+ parts list) for my Triceratops dinosaur MOC that was requested by a group of people, but I'm looking for extra places to offer it to people who may be interested and I am now wondering what the rules on Eurobricks are for the sale of MOC instructions. Does this have to go into the Marketplace, or can they be offered in their respective forum, AKA the same subforum I post my dinosaur MOCs in, generally? It would be nice to know exactly what I can and can't do just to make sure the rules are still adhered to. For those interested, this is the Triceratops dino MOC in question: https://www.flickr.com/photos/43303352@N02/32241819684/in/dateposted/ On top of that, any tips you may have for the sale of such instructions would be more than welcome. With this, I'm hoping to give some of my designs to people in the community while also enabling them to support me at the same time so I can continue funding my art ventures, which includes the Dino Project. ~ GM -
I am doing all I can to save up for a graphics tablet for future career-related requirements as well as one of my greater aspirations, and I've found that selling a good chunk of my collection that I am no longer using will definitely help me be propelled closer to that goal. I have quite a lot of BrickWarriors pieces that I once bought for a planned project that was later scrapped and there's quite a bit of value attached to that and I'm hoping to be able to make someone else happy with it. If anyone would be interested in lots of different BrickWarriors pieces, mainly medieval & fantasy themed items, or if anybody knows of a place where such third party itemese for LEGO can be sold, please let me know, since I'm trying to find as many ways to get the money I'm in need of by doing this. I'll add some pictures to the first post tomorrow, but in the meantime, all interested may drop me a message or post a comment here. ~ GM

I hope this means that all of those figures will receive more advanced printing. Would be awesome. Anyway, already scarce on money, I need to start pumping up some gold for this, but, awesome! -

Thank you, everybody! I'm glad you like them. For those who haven't seen it yet, the newest one - the Ankylosaurus - has been up for a few days now, and I'm also happy to see all three have been blogged by The Brothers Brick.- 18 replies

LEGO Star Wars 2017 Pictures and Rumors
General Magma replied to Stash2Sixx's topic in LEGO Star Wars
As I predicted. No dual molding on Bossk, thus making the figure look unnecessarily outdated in this day and age. The norm for Star Wars minifigures, it seems, even though dual molding happens on some other (smaller) themes in abundance... And of course! Extra detailed Star Wars minifigures with arm printing... only available in overly expensive UCS sets that, once bought, render the rest of your pilots incompatible. I'm finding these money-raking tricks a bit dirty. Plenty of other themes get arm printing and even dual molding all around even in small sets, but for Star Wars, it's made exclusive to only the most expensive sets... -

[MOC] Parasaurolophus
General Magma replied to General Magma's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Thank you, both! I just swapped two of the original images, including the main pictures, for brighter versions, see above. As for the next dinosaur - or one of the next ones - I'll definitely try my hand at a Carnivorous one! I like those suggestions, Faladrin, so I'll take a look at those two.- 18 replies
