LEGO LotR - general discussion
General Magma replied to General Magma's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Who told you this? -
Along with a toy store. Perhaps they should make a minifigure of him so he can re-enact the scenes...

Last September, my journey of playing (electric) guitar started. I'm sure I'll have some stuff to share in the future, in a few years maybe. I remember regretting not starting earlier, when I was a kid, but hey, at least I know I'll be fine now - so right now, I'm on the road of becoming a great guitarist. Might also pick up singing lessons in the future, but right now, my focus is with the guitar and my goal is to become the best I can. In the future, I want to play in (a) rockband(s), and I can definitely see myself pushing (my) boundaries when it comes to playing the guitar by then... but for now, it's gonna take a whole lot of practice to get there! Perhaps I'll pop in here again once I've become way better.

Yeah, something like that - I only just remembered those bridges on Mustafar! Fun times...

Maybe there could be a part of Endor where there are two treehouses opposing one another, with a large Ewok bridge hanging above the ground connecting the two treehouses - a bridge that can be taken down so the entirety of all the players on the bridge ends up falling down to their deaths... something like that might be a nice feature. Extra little things like that for the maps would surely have potential to be good additions - in a way that it can't be done every other second though, to avoid the possibility of overusing those things. Interactive features (and thus an interactive environment) would make it feel more.. well, yeah, interactive, as opposed to not being able to destroy any buildings or being unable to make bridges collapse. Things like the treehouse bridge should lead to important and/or useful things in-game (like a command post), though, otherwise it will probably just end up being ignored. I'm also hoping for The Old Republic in a Battlefront game - one day, perhaps...

Apparently, Lupita Nyong'o is playing... Asajj Ventress? http://www.starwars7news.com/2014/06/speculation-is-lupita-nyongo-playing.html Would fit according to all the nightsister stuff we've heard of [and even seen] before.

Azog? A heroic character? Are you completely sure?

Star Wars: The Clone Wars The Lost Missions
General Magma replied to commanderneyo's topic in Culture & Multimedia
"Moraband" is just the name it was known by during The Clone Wars... Korriban was once also known as "Pesegrim" (or something similar to that), so let's just get over it already. -
Those maps... they look awfully familiar.

LEGO Star Wars 2014 Pictures and Rumors

I smell SWTOR potential in most of those Rebels figures.. Or... well actually, I see SWTOR potential in them, I'm not sure if one can smell such a thing... -
Lego Hobbit Video Game Exclusive Minifigure Announced
General Magma replied to mrfootball's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
They could've made a better choice for the exclusive figure, but hey, it's far better than nothing. It's a nice figure, actually. I recall myself thinking of something like this not too long ago, wishing there could've been this variation of Bilbo as well. (But seeing the impossibility of it given the fact that we already have Bag End...) But then, this showed up on my screen today. Would've preferred an orc or pretty much anything else, though, but this is nice as well. Maybe they will do a visual dictionary one day, giving us yet another exclusive figure... Gonna have to get this figure way or another. -
I think Bo5A will still include Béorn's bear form. It is, after all, a $60 set so there should be space for that.

The ONE Thing You Want to See from LotR Before it Ends
General Magma replied to Deathleech's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Gondorian Soldier. There's a severe lack of those. And if I may choose one set I'd like to see before it ends... anything big that has to do with Gondor with more than enough possibilities for new figures. For example, Minas Tirith... with Gothmog, 2 new Morannon orc soldiers, 2 Gondorian soldiers, Faramir (ranger outfit), dark tan troll (Olog-hai with helmet), Pippin in Gondor outfit, Dernhelm (Éowyn), and the Witch-king of Angmar, perhaps atop of his Fell Beast... possible extra figures may include another Gondorian soldier (or citadel guard) and/or a Haradrim soldier and/or another orc leader and/or Denethor.- 64 replies

LEGO LotR - general discussion
General Magma replied to General Magma's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Yeah, but if I remember correctly, we were constantly hearing things about POTC not selling well back then. Aren't we quite often hearing the opposite about LOTR and/or The Hobbit? -
Received my prize (A) in the mail earlier today - wonderful figures, they've been on the desk looking at me ever since! Thanks a ton again for the extremely generous raffle, CopMike (and all who were involved) and all the hard work that went into getting all of this done! It is very much appreciated.

LEGO LotR - general discussion
General Magma replied to General Magma's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
The Hobbit, an "Evergreen IP"? The same goes for Superheroes & Star Wars - does that mean we might be able to count on more sets beyond this wave, or does an "evergreen IP" only imply that it will be around for longer than 2 years, so not necessarily turn into a lasting line such as SW and the superheroes? Not sure if that gives a bit more hope for LOTR but oh well. -
LEGO LotR - general discussion

Well, I'm pretty sure that wouldn't use that whip design for a set. Sure, there have been MOCs using it, but that doesn't mean all connections are appropriate or "legal" for sets in the eyes of LEGO. Denethor would be good to have, but the other figures stated are more important. -
I meant to say that if they made a one-use mold for that Horntail creature, why wouldn't they do it for Smaug? (As a response to what some people have been saying about re-using the castle dragon mold)
