BrickWarriors Dec 2015 - New Barbarian Pieces!
General Magma replied to Thrash's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Awesome. Maybe you should take the wolf pelt helm and make a normal wolf head version of it, too, so people can make wolves that resemble the wolf pelt helm. -
What Video Game(s) are you playing?

Recently finished building my first gaming PC. I've been playing GTA V and The Crew on it, and I'm now looking to get The Witcher 3 on it. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 15 Rumors and Discussion
General Magma replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Regular legs on the Satyr? No, definitely not. First of all, it wouldn't make sense to depict the Satyr the way it's supposed to look on a sketch, only to turn around and give him regular legs after all in a theme for which new molds are produced so frequently, and secondly, you can pretty clearly see that they're new legs. The top parts of his legs are longer, and the lower parts are shorter. With normal legs, it's exactly the other way round. My top 3 is: 1. Green Knight (My fave, looks fantastic and great for armybuilding. Good to see a historically accurate robed knight. Might be the first figure I'm planning to get more than 5 of!) 2. Winged Warrior (Looks, pardon the pun, golden!) 3. Satyr (Awesome addition to the existing bunch of fantasy races! Love the new legs, might need a few of these.) I would add either the Astronaut or the Indian mother as a fourth. My bottom 3 is: 1. Animal Catcher (Skunk looks great, but I don't care much for the rest of the figure other than maybe the net piece.) 2. Shark Suit Guy (Looks like a fun addition to the range of animal costumes, and I quite like the look of it, but it just doesn't interest me at all.) 3. Ballerina (It's a quite nice looking figure, but not my thing and the least interesting to me of all.) All in all, great series, pleased to see a few figures that are useful for Castle, it also seems like they're partially for those who are let down by Nexo Knights and the temporary lack of "true castle" sets it has caused.. -
Latest CMF series impact on Historic themes
General Magma replied to SirBlake's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Might this new knight be the most historically accurate LEGO robed knight figure yet? I do think so! I've got my eyes on getting a bunch of those for a new faction, as well as a few Satyrs. -

Because it's a community of people and most of them have all kinds of interests that are often mutually shared, I suppose. I've never actually seen a forum without a section that doesn't necessarily have much to do with its main subject. -
EB Xmas Raffle 2015-Your ideal Christmas tree - Winners
General Magma replied to CopMike's topic in LEGO Town
Good luck everyone, and thanks for hosting this again, CopMike! And ooh, I've got my eyes on Price B... that would be a merry Star Wars Christmas! -
I'm in need of money, so other than sets (mainly classic sets, see here) I'm also looking to sell off some of my minifigures, including some of my more valuable ones. The reason I called this topic "Potentially For Sale" is because whether I sell a figure or not depends on whether I receive an offer for it that I deem to be good enough. So if you're interested in one or more of these figures, shoot me a PM including an offer. Here's what I'm considering selling: - Blue Coat Bilbo (Rare promotional bright blue market attire) (new condition, only ever put on display in its original plastic case) - LOTR Pippin (Like new*) - LOTR Samwise Gamgee (*) - The Hobbit Legolas Greenleaf (Available quantity: 3) (*) - CMF Spartan (Comes with accessoires if requested so) (*) - DC Superheroes Lex Luthor in Green Power Armour (*) - Fantasy Era Castle Black Dragon (Good to great condition, needs re-assembly once a deal has been made) - Fantasy Era Castle Sand Green Troll (Great condition, horns are currently missing) - Fantasy Era Castle Dark Tan Troll (Great condition, horns are curently missing) Shoot me a PM along with an offer if you're interested so we can work out a deal. I am located in The Netherlands, and I prefer to do deals within Europe, but am willing to negotiate possible deals internationally as well.

Haha, fun! Reminds me of my first days of watching Brickfilms, for some reason. Nice work, although that scientist laughs a bit too much if you ask me!

LEGO Star Wars 2015 Pictures and Rumors
General Magma replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Star Wars
And that, ladies and gentlemen, is a snowthrower trooper! -
Good luck with this. I remember really wanting this set when it came out, but in the end, I never got to have it. (Taught me a lesson to not leave behind a UCS set I really like) What I'm curious about is, are there any people here who are having thoughts of attempting to create a grey version of this Shuttle? Might be interesting to see.

BrickWarriors Nov 2015 - New Pirate Pieces!
General Magma replied to Thrash's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
These are really cool. Nice additions to the world of LEGO Pirates. Also, a question about a completely different theme: is there any chance you guys are planning to make Star Wars pieces? (Especially with the new movie coming out soon) Of course, because of copyright issues, you'd just call them "Sci-Fi", but I think there's definitely a market for stuff like new alien heads and such. -
EB Xmas Raffle 2015 - Your ideal Christmas tree entry thread
General Magma replied to CopMike's topic in LEGO Town
I'm gonna have to go with a Star Wars Christmas tree, with a Bith musician to accompany it! Darth Vader is visited by Cantor D'an, musician of The Life Day Band -
Oh how filthy. Of course this had to be restricted to US residents only...

LEGO Star Wars 2015 Pictures and Rumors

Does anyone here have a spare C-3PO polybag, by any chance? It seems like The Netherlands isn't ever getting any of these promotions... -
The Millennium Falcon colour thread (White, Grey or Blue!)
General Magma replied to appiah4's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Come now, guys, let's not make this harder than it already is. The Falcon and the Star Destroyers are grey, and so are snowspeeders, and that's the end of it!- 125 replies

LEGO Star Wars 2016 Pictures and Rumors
General Magma replied to Brickdoctor's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Woah, hope it's real. I was just thinking about the possibility (which was considered unlikely prior to that) of this not long ago and now this pops up! The coincidence! Perhaps my wallet had seen a vision and was telepathically communicating with me to warn me... to no avail, I'm probably going to be broke because of this. I'm really hoping to see lots of aliens here. Recolored versions of existing aliens, like Ithorians and Grans and Rodians, but also new ones. Knowing how many new molds tend to be produced for CMFs, I think this would be very likely to happen... if this series is to become real, that is. How so? Look in our own solar system or even beyond that and you'll find plenty of planets with only one environment. There are actually some planets with multiple environments in the Star Wars galaxy (though not that many), but for most part, planets with only one environment are an iconic part of the series. -
That's one heck of a dungeon! Almost makes you want to get locked up in there for a night... almost.

Anticipated Movies Discussion
General Magma replied to adotnamedstud's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Looking forward to Star Wars: The Force Awakens as well as The Hateful Eight! I've already done ticket reservations for Star Wars on opening day (Dec 16th), so I'll be one happy fan of a galaxy far, far away, that day! -
LEGO Star Wars 2016 Pictures and Rumors
General Magma replied to Brickdoctor's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Same, as for the black hands. Those white hands just bother me. Also, that Maz Kanata figure looks fine to me - just another alien, hence the head mold. -
LEGO Star Wars 2016 Pictures and Rumors
General Magma replied to Brickdoctor's topic in LEGO Star Wars
What's up with the torso of the second First Order stormtrooper, though? Couldn't they have given him a normal one or something? Edit: On a side note, any chance somebody would be able to pick up a C-3PO polybag for me to do a trade or something? If they're already out, that is. -
LEGO Star Wars 2016 Pictures and Rumors
General Magma replied to Brickdoctor's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Alright, those are some seriously awesome figures, especially the rebels in the battlepacks, but that First Order battlepack... really? ONE of the new stormtroopers? For Rebels, we got four of those darned stormtroopers in one set, but with these things we keep getting one or two troopers in one battlepack. And in the Battlefront one... they just had to be battle-damaged. Do they not want to give us as many regular stormtroopers as possible? And it's a shame C-3PO doesn't have any printed arms at all. But, complaints aside, I'm very happy with what we're getting here. The Rebel & Resistance battlepacks are absolute must-buys for me, I just love those figures. They might do that eventually, considering the popularity of the 2007 UCS one. -
WANTED] Many Different Star Wars Minifigs
General Magma replied to General Magma's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
UPDATE: I'm still looking for these figures, as I'm not getting many (or any) responses, so I've added a (probably) (hopefully) better summary list, along with a "for trade" list with some additional figures. -
LEGO Star Wars 2016 Pictures and Rumors
General Magma replied to Brickdoctor's topic in LEGO Star Wars
No, not another one from "Rebels"... can you imagine how easily obtainable OT stormtroopers could've been, had it not been for those "Rebels" versions? What I want to see is an Imperial set with OT stormtroopers, so I hope they'd make that an OT set and not a Rebels one, we've got plenty of Imperial "Rebels" sets already. -
Wow. I don't have much more to say than that. Incredible work!
