I chose "too IJ specific". Actually I think they're also good for Adventurers, but Pirates? No... What kind of Pirate map is that with all land and not even a little bit of sea? That's definitely one of the weak spots of the new line, fortunately I have enough old maps to use whenever I want...

It must have been rust (the pistol), and salt/waethering/soil/dirt (the pants).

Actually the quantity I have made it possible for me to make my Spanish troops using Redbeard torsos: All these torsos (10 as you can see) have been taken from complete Rebeard minifigs, and I got maybe 1 or 2 more after taking that picture. If only I had as many Broadsides or Woodhouses.

Hi. I just wanna say that I haven't forgotten about the comic. There's just so much on my mind right now that I don't have the time to continue it. However I have plenty of ideas how the story is gonna evolve, so I'm sure it will be back... eventually.

There was pleeeenty of time. And even though I haven't built my small entry yet (and probably won't have the time to do this next week), I agree that extending it is a bad idea.

I decided not to turn the shark around, as it was supposed to be placed like that so the Admiral could look at its head rather than its tail while lying in bed... When he was still able to see of course...

Hi there. I've updated my entry and edited the first post accordingly. Go back to the first post to see the new pictures. This is the final version! First of all, I've added plants on the outer wall - that's how the pirate climbed up there in the first place (although he may have very well been lifted by another pirate standing outside - that's left for interpretation). I've also slightly redesigned the bed and the lights. . Check out the updated gallery HERE. He put out the fire before going to sleep. Actually the pictures can be no bigger thant 800x600, right? Aye, it's a troll sword from the new Castle line. I was considering that, however a cutlass looks a bit too small to be used to decapitate someone. Cut someone's throat - fine, but cut the whole head off - unlikely. I wanted something more heavy-looking. Thanks for all the useful comments!

That's funny, because that's exactly what I thought of myself after posting the pics. I think I'll add some climbing plants on that wall. Thanks for all your comments!

Vig. 37a Hi, it's time I showed you my medium PTV entry I was planning to make it an imperial torture chamber, as I've mentioned while posting my large entry. However as I started building the room itself, it turned out to look too cosy for a torture chamber, and so I came up with this new idea... :pir-skull: Killed in his sleep ATTENTION! This entry has been updated! This is the final version! A British admiral is sleeping in his bedroom. A cowardly masked pirate who knows no honour has sneaked in through the window and murdered the poor guy in cold blood by cutting his head off. See some more pictures HERE. The MOC fits exactly on a 16x16 baseplate. There's a very small overhang (the window and the pirate in it, as well as the plants - see the 4th picture). Any feedback will be highly appreciated. PS. The whole X-Men trillogy was the best for me. Iron Man was good but not great. Spider-Man 1 was pretty nice but 2 and 3 were big disappointment for me. Fantastic Four 1 and 2 were crap. Daredevil had its good and bad moments. Elektra was boring. Ghost Rider was fun but stupid at times. The first Hulk was boring too, haven't seen The Incredilble Hulk yet. Still, all X-Men movies were the best!

Thanks for all your comments! Unfortunately I used all the plants I had available - that's also the reason I was forced to use substitutes like the dino arms, to have more plants in the MOC. Actually the shortage of green bricks has been a problem of mine for as long as I remember. Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition! Actually as I started building my medium entry, it started to turn into something different and I finally decided to drop the torture chamber idea and came up with something else instead. But that's yet to come!

That's a really nice one. It's always good to have an alternative to the original cannons, especially as good-looking as this one!

That's one big MOC here... This guy must've spent quite some time on this... However those giant pictures are really annoying. They distract me from properly contemplating this marvellous MOC.

Love the two new female minifigs. The mermaid torso remids me of a custom I once found on Brickshelf. I wanted to buy the new ship anyway - now I'm sure I'll get one.

Yes, this is supposed to be a rock, or more specifically, the kind that is called a monadnock or an inselberg. Here's a good example of a real-world one:

Well I hope to use all the hull pieces I have... So there's still some work ahead of me. And I'll probably buy the new Pirate ship and either leave it as it is or turn it into a MOC - it depends on how much I will like it...

Vig. 20a I'd like to show you my large PTV contest entry. The Spaniards are attacking Islanders' village, burning down their huts and capturing their inhabitants to turn them into slaves. The poor villagers are trying to defend themselves but they won't stand much chance... And so the battle begins... General view: This Islander wasn't lucky enough to survive... An Islander woman was trying to fight the aggressors, but she wasn't very lucky. You can also see her captured friend in the background. The Spaniards have already set fire to one of the huts... In the background you can see a Spanish soldier trying to burn down another house. In the foreground - the brave Islander is fighting for his freedom. Hello there. I decided to drop the idea of another trailer, so right now I simply wanna show you the brand new episode of my comic series, uploaded yesterday: Episode 13 - The Fall Join our heroes in their new adventure. Or should I say heroines? And episode 14 will be here next Monday (I think ).

Yeah, some people are just too good, ain't they? I told them I could pay for their Lego, but they didn't wanna hear about it...
