Thanks for your answers, Cpt. Jr. Please do post some more, and I think you posted some parts of your answer to me twice, maybe you could edit it (not that important though)

Ok....OK.... It seems you have a very low ammount of self-esteme Mr.Phred... REPEAT me: I AM NOT A DORK !!! Do that 20 times before you go to bed for this month and the upcoming one. I used to do this for a year, and now, finnaly, I do not consider myself to be a dork anymore !

That bicycle man and Hong Kong hawker look so cool ! Man, you posted more MOCs here today then I have made into my entire life. And they are so good ! keep it up, Benny.
-
I use that very same torso for my Napoleonic Army, I usually make them into a German or Austrian unit (landwehr) , they carry top hats and the brown epaulettes.
-
They are classics indeed. I own a lot of them as well (and any lego collector with me). I also liked the doctors torso in those days, I think it was the first real doctors torso, instead one from the red cross or from a nurse...

What are you talking about? We can only see the Millenium falcon on these pics, and I can clearly see its interior on the pics. Are you referring to the other MOC on Brickshelf? The dude states he has build 2 of them, a new one and an old one and the falcon1823 doesn't show much of the interior indeed.

LOOK ! I HAVE A NEW TITLE ! goes great with my avatar ! .....I just knew this statement would end up being used against me.... To the admin that gave me this title: YOU are a dork !!!
-
Hi there Morgan19, those Halloween minifigs of you look really great. Personnaly I like the dead (german?) pilot the most ! He's so scary and... cool. That "fishman" looks great too, actually they all look great but i like those 2 the most.
-
The old Diesal locomotive and the "special service train" look to be the best, IMHO at least. This is the third thread that contains MOCs from you Benny, and I hope more will follow, seen the high quality of them !

I should have an additional package of sails from the Skulls Eye Schooner, but I have to wash them first...too bad they are probably too piraty, if interested PM me.

I think this is a job well done, metalandi, and i like the WIP pics you took while building. The chimney and the roof you've made are really looking good ! A bit of moss, a few rocks on top of it... Your "smithie" looks realistic as well. Maybe one point: should there be peeking holes in the outer wall inside the blacksmith's shop as well? Isn't that a bit dangerous when war is on? And I would add a few shields and weapons to it, after all a blacksmith usually works very hard . Now we wait on Erdbeereis1 to show his version. maybe both builders should send their pics to someone neutral like KimT, after all now the other builder can see what the first one did and learn from his mistakes... Not that I don't trust Erdbeereis, but overall, I think it would be more honest, at least for their FINAL VERSIONS, the WIPS are there to be posted early.

I like those "joker-styled" minifigs. So yes, i would like it if they looked like that. The only thing is I cand find a direct reason why Futuron HQ would create such difficult-to-make outfits for their crews, I don't see NASA using this kind of uniforms any way soon. BUt I like how they look, so my vote would be YES.

I especcialy like the rule about the Duplo block. And Phred is NO dork ! He just looks a bit dorky, but that's not his fault. BTW people say I look a bit dorky too, maybe because of my black mask and black tricorne hat i always were, i don't know... i like this new smilie... .

just like your train Moc I've just seen, these ones are very beautiful Benny. And your pictures are of good quality, i, like that, because some other recent MOCs, although o-so nice, are displayed with a quite lousy quality. A big from me!
-
Thanks for sharing these with us, Benny, your train is really nice. Few people own those expensive sets (i am one of them BTW), I am rebuilding the bulk of my sets now, including my train and city sets. I always like the City Highspeed train the most, so i think i will build this one first (after the pirate and castle ques, that is). It is good you got yourself a Brickshelf account, now you can share more pics with us, so please do so if you build any other MOCs !

But then again...clones were made before in the Star Wars story . Maybe Starkiller could be revived, or someone finds a bit of his DNA to clone him, although i personnaly would prefer a different story with different characters as well.

It's good you are using members sigfigs Guss, but I already knew you were going to, I will ad my sigfig this week when I get home in the weekend, maybe you could find him a place in your MOC; (like an alepit cleaner or a crazy dude that thinks he's Zorro) PS: I was using reverse pshychology up there, I want to be important...(Viceroy, Admiral, Governor, Commodore, Superhero,...) That is, if you would add my sigfig... You have clearly made a lot of progress, but I will refrain myself from giving critic already since it is a WIP and most things I see I already mentioned or stand in direct relation with the fact it is a WIP. So far, so good !

They better not rise the price for this set... I would really be dissapointed... I just got to think Lego would become cheaper. And the crisis has affected us enough already

Tyrrell P34
Zorro replied to Rijkvv's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Sadly thinking we are too old for Lego is the most common reason for people to enter their Dark Ages... We live in a very intollerant and competitive society Good you found the road to Legoville back though ! -
You have made some very good creations, and you have told us you are willing to sell them (or at least thats what I remember to have read somewhere) Could you please post their prices? Not for me but for my nephew who loves Lego Star Wars. And I think some other members might be interested as well...
-
I think this would be a great solution AND a great lesson for your kid ! (you could return them after a day or so) Unless...we are talking about a 30 year old Lego collector that has stolen four minifigs from his 30 year old Lego-collecting neighbour

The Cylon Empire expansion is proceeding as planned
Zorro replied to johnsocal's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Your cylons look very good, It's only to bad TLC hasn't produced an "Androïd" like torso yet, also the torso colors aren't like in the series, but still it is done very good, especcialy with the parts that are available. And the helmets are soo cool ! PS: I think you should build a human army as well, or your Cylons won't have much work to do... Nice job -
That's a super review Erdbeereis1, as usual and as we can expect from one of the Academy teachers. I gave the set a 4 (above average) because I think there are quite some minifigs included for its price (which is, I think, not that expensive at all) I also like the parts that are included, like the sceleton horses and weapons, wheels,... IMHO this set is a great armybuilder ! BTW: In Belgium I have seen this set being sold for 15,99 Euros.
-
That little Volkswagen beetle of yours looks very good, a collector/fan of Beetles in my town still drives one, I like them too (but not enough to buy a real one) Maybe a Lego Beetle would do it for me . Your detail level is very high, and I think the car radio looks neat as well; A cool Moc !

LEGO eBAY Sellers (Where do they get this stuff?)
Zorro replied to Badsneaker's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I've been to Italy, and I've been to their Lego stores, and I admit, just like here in good Ol' belgium you can find some of the older sets, and yes, sometimes they are dirt cheap. BUT I thought we were (primarely) talking about the sellers that sell those old sets by the hundreds ! They almost MUST have some kind of relations with TLC or the TLC employees that have a certain level of "access". Like TLC finds an old pallet with yellow castles that was hidden somewhere, TLC is not going to sell this small quantity themselves... OR: you are or know a TLC Lego line manager very well...and he likes you...if they still have the molds or pieces available then he produce some sets. And don't even start to tell me that is impossible...such things happen in EVERY large international company/factory . But those are just my thoughts you know...
