A happy birthday from a fellow Belgian, dear Hairy Ruben who-is-not-so-hairy, have a good time receiving presents and Lego ! Now you can learn how to drive ! And one more year and you can (legally) buy siggies, booz and "jeekes" (and you can vote then, but WTF cares about that in Belgium ). Let the countdown begin !

Ideas for 10193 Medieval Market Village add-ons
Zorro replied to Klaus-Dieter's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I voted, I would like a pharmacy/docters house, another market stand or two, and of course a church with graveyard. The priest, the pharmacist and some sales(wo)men come with them off course. A townshouse with a prison would be neat as well. Another guard or 2, a governor and off course, a TAXcollector would be included. PS: could you add the TAXCOLLECTOR to the poll please? He could come with a treasure cart and a few guards ! I really like this option, and I think some other will too, he goes great with the governor/mayor/nobleman as well. -
You want to buy this plane and you have this airport.. I think they will go together yes, they are a fine match. I would suggest making some more runways if I were you, by buying (or I you have them already) some simple baseplates. Perhaps you could put these on the other side of the airport. Might I suggest expanding the airport as well, if you have the bricks, time and creativity? I think this way you would have a cool, large airport !

The Many Adventures of the Whacker and the Walrus #6
Zorro replied to Hinckley's topic in Brick Flicks & Comics
Woaah, this is SOOOO cool ! You are a genius, a true, fullborn genius. This is better then ANY Lego comic i've seen. Please make more of these, I am going to search this forum for the rest as well. I-N-C-R-E-D-I-B-L-E !!! -
The dropships looks neat, and your review is good. It isn't my theme, but it clearly is a fantastic set for the space lovers under us. Mars Mission is really a good step in the right direction for TLC.

How did you like the Clone Wars TV series?
Zorro replied to kill will's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I like what I have seen on the net, since I haven't seen any episodes yet on television. I think their voices are allright, and I hope we get the new episodes in little old Belgium ASAP. Now we have to buy them on iTunes, or be happy with trailers like me. Or streaming if you have some bandwide. True, so true... -
4 Studs are indeed, as said by many, too small for 2 minifigs. 6 Studs wide cars are the minimum IMHO. With less they look unrealistic (unless its a very small one-person car). I even prefer 8 studs as well, but then you need quite some bricks, and when building a town MOC, it is just not attracting to use such a large scale. My vote: 6 studs !

I must agree with your opinion, dear Kliq. Guns N' Roses all the way ! Velvet Revolver can't be compared to them (yet).

Why don't you just ask Darkie? Or is this simply for fun I'm in "love" with the Orc Queen, I think its one of Lego's better creations and a nice additions to the Orcs.

King's castle: Yes, barely, but still yes. Enough minifigs, a lot of playability and accessories. Sceletons castle: IMHO: NO, I would buy a number of smaller sets to build me a skeleton army, but I wouldnt buy the castle, I think it looks bad. There are better suited castles and/or building for the "skellies"

CONTEST - Pillage the Village - Creative Critic Award
Zorro replied to Mister Phes's topic in Pirate MOCs
I will try so too, I develloped my own commenting system a few days ago, so I will keep using that... PS: Lego12: giving positive feedback isnt what we are supposed to do, we must give HONEST and CONSTRUCTIVE feedback, so if its bad, then it is bad.... No more mercy English is NOT my primairy language I fear, but I will do my best. TO MR. PHES: I already gave (I hope constructive) critic to all of the entries that have been posted till now. Must I repost them or will they be taken in consideration as well? I ask this because I don't want to look like a "late starter", who only gave critic to the last entries. -
Hi there KimT, I came here by some random forum browsing, and I'm glad I did ! Your (modified) yellow castle looks quite awesome ! I didn't really like the original yellow castle because it had few details and few "play rooms", but yours is so cool ! I did like the fact they came with so many minifigs. I inherited a yellow castle from my father BTW. I love the corner tower you have created, the thick walls are imposant as well. A big from me.

I dont have any ageseparations concerns, and I'm really looking towards the new game. I hope it will be released, and that it will continue to develop with the users that are in it. Moderating that would be very costly I'm afraid, but it has to be done... They will have few choice then to distribute this cost amongst the users .

Looks good but could you please resize that a bit? It nearly takes all screen on my computer... That also goes for your first pic. You can change it in photoshop and most other photosuites.

Zorro is the same as "De Vos" in Dutch, it also used to be my nickname on school, that is why I use it. And also my email starts with Zorro. The number 3999 is my Visa Card Code (the one of Visa 3765-7587-7876-467 that expires January 2010) I took it so I would always remember it.

What about the Dwarven mine?, if you love castle off course. There is a nice review in the Academy, if you have access to it, that is... Tower raid is neat too, but if you have a hundred, I would definatly buy a larger set instead of a (few?) smaller.
-
They are neat ! Willy looks very beautifull, and yes, her hairpiece would be suited for Leia (and Padme), I am looking forward to see them released. We are so being treated as royalty these last weeks, so many pics and rumors... Personally I can't wait for the 2009 Pirate line, but thats no Licensed serie, please let us have Pirates Of The Carribean, its certain a new movie is being developped, so...

Why shouldn't it be Dark Red? I like Dark Red. I'm happy to just have a starfighter into the new line... I hope there will be new pictures soon. Please dont be an exclusive, that would be bad for the price (next to availability)as well.

What about plain "little kid" or "for ages 6-12", that would be humiliating. Then again, its something for the Mods and Admins to decide. Their will is our law and their law should be our will... I think there also should be "tags" or whatever its called, to represent the primary "group" one belongs to, like Star Wars, Pirates, City. JMHO. And maybe represent that in their "color".

I love how you did the back and the engine. I'm happy so many people are inspired by the new Custom Garage. Keep 'em coming, I always say.

Hi there Rijk Van Voorst, as you will notice (or have noticed), there are many fellow Dutch and Belgian members here on Eurobricks. Most of them are members of LowLUG and BeLUG as well. Do have a good time down here ! Love to have you with us.
-
Blink 182 all the way then, but only if I have the choice between the ones you gave us. Too bad they broke up...

Home alone. Back somewhere in the ninetees I think... No, I watched Evan Almighty yesterday, on the German "Premiere 1" channel. Bruce Almighty was better... How the heck could they train so many animals for that movie, they must have rented an entire zoo for that.

I am awaiting the new Pirate and Castle lines with patience...Since I haven't got much money to spend on them at the time The mermaid is soo cool, I think we also get one with the new pirate ship.(I could be wrong) The new lines are very strong, that is for sure. TLC will have a good year, so I think I might buy some of their stocks
