New Prototypes And Products Announced
Zorro replied to Lego Customs's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
I also warned you about not advertising too much, Lego Customs, and it is not the intention to ask every member that responded once to your posts to become a "forum friend". I accepted at that time, but after seeing your latest posts and the fact you (again) triple posted one of your threads (removed by Captain Green Weed) I can only hope you will take notice of the warning Sinner (aka The Walruss) gave you, I must also add that Sinner is one of the "nicer" (if I can call it like that, it's not that the others are bad or evil or something) members of staff, and that not every MOD/Admin will give you a warning like he does. PLEASE READ THIS As you can see, normally seen new members aren't even allowed to advertise... Many people, even long-time members have been removed due to spamming or too much advertising their stuff, website(s) or sales. Please do not become one of them... A friendly note from a fellow member. -
I think whoever chooses for this Lego theme should know it is going to cost a little, if that is a problem they should buy something that can't drive automaticly. The small difference in price between the metal and the plastic rails are so small they don't really mater anyway IMHO.

Why does Ras get mad when someone says the bare naked thruth? Does Ras have an anger managment problem? I only ask because I don't know him that well, I only know he is soooo ol....NO, I am NOT going to complete that sentence, I don't want him going after me, I just got myself a new title anyway!

I'm afraid this could be the new price settings for the new sets and for any future sets to be released. I also think the same about the new Pirate line! And when those prices were decided upon, there wasn't a worldwide crisis yet... I hope they aren't correct, but I fear for it.

I hate the new system. Using batteries is so stupid and a (large) step back in comparison to the last 20 years. All we can do is keep repeating this, and hope one of the people of TLG will read/hear this and realize they are wrong. I hope to read some new information soon, even with the new system they would use.

Don't you know Latin??? It's one of the plurals for "Vampire"... Are you paying attention at school? I think I'd better call your parents.

If you are going to comment on other people's grammar, you need to get it right yourself. "thougt" should be thought, "I looks" should be I look. Thanks for the comments, Captain Zuloo, and now I am going to stop posting stuff like the sentence above, joking/playing around is good, but not during an entire thread.

My opinion: It has a cruelty factor of 12,5/10 so that's good, and I think your guillotine looks pretty good and realistical as well, so you get a from me for this one! There are some concerns I have though. Possible improvements: 1) ANACHRONISM !!! The guillotine was discovered in 1792 !It wasn't used often in the Caribbean, and not before 1826 according to my sources. The contest entries should take place between 1500 and 1800, which is the primary reason there aren't any others in the contest I think. Maybe you could convert it into a Halifax Gibbet? BUT: don't worry to much about this, I think it is allowed anyway. 2) Add some realistical movement to the pirate that is standing next to the guillotine. 3) Do you have any better faces for the pirate and the errr...chopped off head? These are just so "standard". 4) You must choose which pictures we are supposed to rate, we can't rate them all. 5) Tiling the little baseplate would be fine I think. Maybe you could try it and see how it looks? Non-brick related advise: 1) Deeplink your pics. This is a lot easier for us. Remember the guidelines concerning this! 2) Watch your grammar: eg. "exicution" should be execution. Keep building and having fun! I like your work.

Aren't you supposed to be the boss of your own room/house? Or don't you want them knowing you still "play" with Lego I never care about the fact my room is filled with Lego . BTW: you are so lucky that you got it that cheap...
-
Nicely done, Tim Bit, but is it possible to rotate those pics? (photoshop or something alike)Now I have to turn my laptop and that seems to be a bit weird. (I got a soure neck, like many pc-nerds/lovers do... Your MOC is good. from me.

As long as the MMV will be sold at this price, I will probably buy one, one thing I would like to see added was the tax inspector. The soldiers that are already there can become his escort. The tax inspector used to go to the market, sit down at his own stand with a small treasure box and a couple of guards, and then the vassals, peasants and others would come by and pay them one tenth of their income. Weather that would be in chickens, eggs or porkheads, the taxinspector didn't care...

I would like to see Rihanna live too (naked, that is, preferrably with a heavy cold and soure throath). No, I think she's OK , but as Captain Greenhair says, she is "fixed up electronicaly", but in these days, aren't they (the artists) all?

This realy is a very nice MOC, Dan Church. Well, I can agree with that statement. Especialy since one should know the jesters of that time usualy WERE crazy, that was the only reason why they, and them alone, were allowed to mock the King without loosing his head!
-
Big for this review. I loved these sets, I have both of them and I will never give them away or even sell them. The only thing it lacks is a treasure chamber or something like a trone room with a King.
-
Errr...I meant one's site and stuff they are selling. Sorry for my sometimes lousy English. EDIT: PS: You posted that just to bug me, right?

VAMPIREX, all the way. Bloodsuckers rule! That Nessie seems cool, well made! Something like a guy with a moustace wearing a Leia bra... The factories are closing. They should be coming home soon now.

Personnaly, if I was your son, I would be a lot happier with the Giant chess set, I only have the standard one (received as a gift for graduation), and although I was very happy to get it, I wanted to have had the Giant set when I checked Lego.com for information (and the price ) of the small set. Also the royal knight battle pack could be a nice gift/addition.
-
I like Eurobricks just because the theme (LEGO) and because I get to see so many beautiful MOCs, as well as information and pictures from the latest sets. Also the friendly and often funny people that reside here are one of the reasons I joined and am so very active. PS: Do not advertise your site to much, they don't like that either. And advertise always on the right place to advertise, a lot of (self-advertising) members have been banned for not listening to the advertising guidelines.

Very very very good and scary minifigs ! I especcialy like the killer rabit and the guy with technic arms. WOW, this Halloween theme is a very well chosen one, with loads of potential !
-
A very good set indeed, I never owned it, or even seen it for that matter but that was probably because I was too young, I inherited a few Forrestmen from my father though. Your review is OK, a bit extensive, but well written, detailed and interesting. A big from me.
-
Thanks, old Glory has many branches of minifigs. I have Napoleonic soldiers. NEW PICTURE ADDED !!! next ones tomorrow....this is a WIP, people...
-
I voted for the first one. Do you all see something SEXUAL on the first pic, or is it just me feeling horny again??? I mean, a Pirate entering with his longsword through the err...legs of the native statuewoman???
-
OK, THAT'S IT, I AM FED UP WITH YA PIRATY MANNERS, Captain Zuloo, I SUDDENLY SWEAR, in the name of my father, mother and the HOLY GOD, that YOU (ya minifig that is) will play an important role in my very first MOC/picture !!! PREPARE FOR SOME REAL CRUELTY !!! :pir-skull: Currently I am thinking off:limbs that are extracted, a head being sliced into very thin slices, hands and other projections that are cut off and a torso that will be pierced by a very large and unusual object... (all without anesthetic) TO THE STAFF: suggestion for next contest/MOC: "The brutal death of Captain Zuloo ('s minifig)"
