And MAYBE that is something that might need to be changed... Are there many Fellows? If yes, then it probably would end up in a slug-naming-fest, but if there are only a few it would be a nice addition to their "special powers" I think. (and the staff could always demand that a Fellow would first consult them before giving a title) Power to the Fellowship-people ! Wouldn't it be better to say: You HAVE poo on your face ! OR You have a poo face ??

WOW, you had your own RANCH ??? Man, I'd wish I were as rich as you are... Why did he sell it BTW?? (I hope it hasn't got anything to do with the current "crisis") And I was happy I could make a ride on my uncles old working horse. PS: a "Brabander" is amongst the strongest horses around the world, according to my uncle who visited today !

I bought another 5 silver x43 helmets through Bricklink, along with about 15 saddles, 3 shakos and 4 Imperial soldiers (2 guards + 2 soldiers), there are many other items included (mainly Pirate theme), but too much to typ the entire list down here ! I ordered them last week using 3 different Bricklink stores (all located in Germany), and the first delivery was made TODAY

Chainzkai is a great manga artist, drawing such an amazing portret. HE did paint this? Or did you? It looks great anyway and I go with Imperialshadows idea...i don't know that much about Lego's "women".

Directing traffic is only one of their many purposes I guess, but certainly NOT their main purpose. It is intended to be used (mainly thus...) as a POLICE LINE - DO NOT CROSS thingie OR as a WARNING SIGN (accident - carcrash)... But as you guys said, you can do other things with them: signs for airport, signs for (car)races,...

SPIELE MAX AG, as written down in the Lego store locator, I go to germany at least once every year, and have been in Berlin for a dozen of times. (I mainly go there to shop anyways so...) I always shopped at Spiele MAX gruppe, there are at least 3 Spiele Max stores located in Berlin I can recall, probably a lot more... Spiele Max looks a bit like "Bart Smit" toystores. This is their online link, you can find their adresses here as well (and on TLC store locater, as said) They often have a larger Lego collection in their stores, mostly even some older models ! Spielmax Have fun shopping in Berlin. ICH BIN KEIN BERLINER ! (zorro3999)

Very nice build, ExoBuilder. And as Guss said too much stickers is a pain in the megablocks, but this is just perfect. Your Modified Assault Tiger reminds me a bit like "Bumblebee", if you don't mind me saying this. Probably because of the colors, because Bumblebee doesn't have such neat weapons as your Mech does . I can't remember the original well, since i don't have any Mechs/bionicle... I only see them once in a while in my favorite toystore or at my nephews place...

Wow, that's a lot, so a horse has more "output" then my old car . (I used to drive a "goat" till I got 20) I always knew horses were stronger then goats... Well, Adam, any updates about ya horsie from Milan? What brand is it? Does it also have 10 horsepower? What color does it have? Was it custom painted or did it come with a basic factory color?
-
I bought one too, 10 minutes ago ! I just didn't know I had to post.

My favorite would be: Vader versus Yoda (the Old), don't even care where, since they would never show this anyhows . But this does not belong to any of the movies, only to my rich imagination... Well, then it must be: Obi-wan Kenobi and Qui Gon versus Darth Maul (as suggested by CF WeaZZel).

Hi there, Lord King of Everything, welcome to this forum. I hope you will enjoy yourself here ! PS: I really enjoyed your MOC for the Pillage the Village contest ! If that is the quality we can expect from you in your MOCs, then I am already looking forward for your next MOC postings. And yes, your name is cool .

My opinion: This IS very good. There is not so much I can say or suggest because the (small) size of it and the fact it already feels quite complete and finished. Adding the extra light to represent fires and pillaging was an inventive and smart thing to do ! Also the chimney looks very good (because of the colors and the small hole in it) from me for this MOC. Cruel, cruel, cruel, cruel !!! I LOVE IT TOO, everyone can make up his own story ! Possible improvements: 1) The door: as said, make it look more damaged. Follow the advise given to you by Lord King of Everything, Mss. Phes and Erdbeereis1. Add some small brown pieces lying around the room. 2) Maybe you could add some fire damage, or debris from when the Alzheimer pirates attacked first. PS: The broken wall is really a nice touch ! 3) Adding another passive character, (like a parrot or bird on the roof) could add a (little) more "color". This is, however, no necessity at all. I would try it and see how it looked. Non-brick related advise: 1) Your MOC is build to be seen from this side. I understand that, and taking pictures from the other sides would be quite useless. I would take (and post) more pictures though, eg. zoom-ins of the treasure chest, the dead guy on the roof and the pirate.

My opinion: This is a very good MOC, it has all we wanted to see in this contest. I think this is outstanding for a first MOC/attempt and if some minor improvements are made, you might even have a chanche to win a prize ! Possible improvements: 1) Blood, blood and more blood. Add some more blood (like in the governors neck). 2) See you don't add more minifigs or items then you already have. If you add any more, people will call it too cluthered or too crowded (IMHO, it is maxed out, but not "over the edge" yet). 3) The face expressions could be done better. The governor has a fairly neutral expression on his face, would you have a neutral one if your head is about to be cut off :pir-skull: ? Also the pirates themselves could (should?) look more EVIL. At this point I cannot be of more help to you because I only see one pic at this time. We really should see the other sides as well to make it the best MOC it could be. Remember that the judges/staff CAN always demand you to make additional pictures (I don't). Read the section about the pictures. Minor and/or not brick related improvements that can be made as well: a) Post more pictures, you should post six for the best effect, read the entry instructions that have been pinned on top of the Pirate forum. And why post at 360x480 pixels if you may post at 800x600 pixels? Posting at a higher pixel rate will make the pictures larger and therefore easier to see for the members and judges. It also might improve the overall picture quality. b) Put some alineas between your sentences, this will make it easier for us to read your introduction. c) I would state that this is a WIP (work in progress) into your description. Ask a mod to do this if you want to change it.

New BrickArms Prototypes
Zorro replied to the enigma that is badger's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
That MGL prototype is so cool , if I had them (and soon I might), I would build myself a Terminator scene. Not necessary from the movies, it could be one of my own, in either case it would be humans versus robots (Duhh..). I am thinking of the battlescene where the human HQ gets overrun by the robots, dead soldiers and destroyed robots lying around in any corner. Those MGL's look quite expensive though, or is that just my imagination speaking because they look so incredibly detailed and... well..."extensive" (notice the T instead of the P ). Please tell us when they are available for order. -
Forrestmen or Elves, they are both as good for me. They would look about the same since Lego minifigs don't have ears , so the Elves wouldn't look like real Elves anyway... If Elves were chosen, I would want Elves from the Lord of The Rings trilogy, not the ones from Warcraft or alike. I want them to be "noble", with Ents and animals like Giant Eagles as their allies. The Orcs are a natural adversary of them, TLC wouldn't have to invent any other IMHO. BTW: a little something to know: ORCS are direct descendants from the Elves ! The first Orcs were Elves that were continiously tortured on the most sadistical ways possible for very long times...they became crazy and with evil magic of the Elderly Demons of the dark side, they were converted into servants for them (and so were their children). This comes from the books of Tolkien, not from my imagination.

Your tophat/shako looks really good, Captain Junior, could you please tell us how much one of them would cost? I mean productionprice, I might be interested in using your system, or if you would commercialize, buying them from you. There are some things that need more clarification though, like how hard is the plastic? Can t be easily scratched or is it made like Lego? I admire your creativity !

This is such a good idea... PS: Can we use staff-minifigs into our MOCs??? If yes, we are supposed to let them die quite cruely as well, not? Go Bonaparty, go ! Let those other staffmembers take a look at what a real Belgian can do if he just puts his mind to it ! With that army of yours you can make an entire battlefield filled with death pirates and soldiers ! (If Thomas B can support his favorite, so can I) PS: You too Captain Green Hair ! Go for it ! And Mr. Phess, Mr. Hinkley, Mr. Tiber, .... I'd better support all of you, since you guys are going over the prizes...

I just took a look at the Staff composition on the frontpage, man I never know they were with that many ! It appears most (or many) Fellowship members have received some moderating functions/abilities as well. I didn't know that. So anyone of them could give you a name? Or do only the Admins have access to this function? Because then I DO know who gave me mine (for 100% instead of 99,999%)

BrickArms Pirate Accessory Prototypes
Zorro replied to the enigma that is badger's topic in Pirate MOCs
I don't think they will be that expensive, in regard to the prices of the other items sold on Brickarms. That is what I hope at least... , but I think they will be lenient. I will buy them for my Napoleonic soldiers at some point, the bayonets and clips, that is. -
I actually made a German freecorps out of them. In the napoleonic age, that is, in let's say a month I will post the pics of my completed Napoleonic army, if I received all my Bricklink order by then, that is...

I have about 50 lego horses ! And yes, I want to go ride together, me and my horses will take a plane if we can stay with you. I hope none of my horsies has flying disease...I don't have space in my pockets for all of them. Back to reality: I once rode a "Brabander" working horse belonging to my uncle (a few times, but never alone). He used to be a farmer but is retired now. I can barely remember that (I even had to ask mom what horsebrand it was, I only knew it had one horsepower ), I was probably something like 5 or 6 years old and he always accompagnied me, but it was fun nevertheless ! Oooh...were are the times...

I took a look at the members list, and did some searches. I selected number of total posts and ascending order (no searchwords), and then I saw an enormous amount of members with 0 posts who haven't logged in for YEARS. Is it necessary to keep these members in the list? Would there be advantages cleaning that database up? No threads or topics would be broken due to 0 posts. Just a little suggestion. I don't care about a long members list. Maybe another color or groupname can be given to the ones that haven't logged in for eg. a year. Well, actually that is a very good statement and I think you have succeeded in doing so. Personnaly I find that you should "spare" the people that are given a second chanche, but this does not count for the ones who get themselves banned (unless he's four years old perhaps - four for real I mean- And I am sorry to say so, but I have noticed that to get banned from Eurobricks you already have to had done something quite awful. And that doesn't happen much, but sometimes we see a pervert, a chil(dish) one, someone without respect to other members, someone who doesn't worship Lego and/or the staff as we all should do ,... I think that with all those good and hard-working MODs and Admins, people don't dare to try something they shouldn't do, it is seldom that I am online without any staff member(s) as well ! This works "represive". And I know about what I am speaking, I am online (and on EB) for multiple HOURS a day, studying from behind my laptop, I visit the forum every-so-many-minutes. PS: I was not (primarely) trying to "suck-up" to the staff, that would only be a secondary, not to be forseen and unwanted side-effect .

Harvey "Two-Face" Dent *Finished*
Zorro replied to SirNadroj's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
That burned look on your Harvet Dent is very inventive, I also have seen more Two-Face customs, and I must admit I like Obxcrew's version in some ways better then yours, but yours is better in another way: because of the "fire-damage", so I can't really compare (and I don't want to, since opionions are so personnal). Your Jokers were amazing too BTW, even better then this Harvey Dent I think... NOW: what about a...Cat that looks like a woman...or a woman that looks like a cat perhaps? (You get the hint ). -
I agree with both those statements. The Crimson Pirate was awesome ! BTW: did you guys know Christopher Lee played a small role in it? I read that some time ago, and I've checked that last time I've seen it, and yes: I recognized him. He played as the secretary of Herman ! I don't know there was a medieval version...never seen it, are you certain it came from the same director/producer? The Crimson Pirate was directed by Robert Siodmak and Burt Lancaster himselve(I'm pretty sure at least...).
