  1. Nice, I loved the bush passing along, I like the fort, it looks more than a decor, do you have any more pictures of that ?
  2. Whoohoo, gongratulations everyone, that new tag sure looks good and that Eldorado Fortress looks even better Thank you everyone for everything (Voting for me for example ). Yeah yeah but the first place is just so much better than the lower places and after all, it's a bluecoat flag waving in the end of the comic, the picture prooves it, the bluecoats have won Anyway, there's a truce now, so we all wear the same coat again. But is it a red one or a blue one ?
  3. You're so right, I just realized that in the latest lego themes people are never the bad guys anymore, always aliens or monsters, killing aliens and monsters doesn't bother anyone, unless anyone here is friends with an alien or monster .
  4. Nicely done, I never thought of building a 'crib' for Spinoza .
  5. [pid][/pid]234C You might have seen this temple before in my first entry of the TOR III (the dramatic sculpture incident). I heavely relied on a raised baseplate for the temple architecture, overall it's a pretty simple creation. Some people really don't like the use of raised baseplates, burps and lurps while I think they're perfect when you don't have a lot of parts to spare, like I do, I'm currently in some sort of crisis, an old/new Gray crisis, I have too few of either to build something of decent size and I hate to combine them . The stone kahuka head was simply copied from the official Islander sets. Commander RedHat and other redcoats will remember this place . The Dramatic Sculpture. Attack! (this picture didn't make it to the final comic, had to make a selection to qualify for the 10 panel limit.) More pictures in my Brickshelf Gallery.
  6. Pancakes, that's all I need as an argument to go
  7. Thanks. You mean the printed flag on the stern?
  8. [pid][/pid] 146B My smallest prefab hull based ship, a square rigged sloop. It's a bit minimalistic I admit. The technique I used for my polacca didn't work out on a ship this small so I build it the old way. I used all of my red cannon hatches, 6 of them but there's only room for (small) cannons at 4 of them, the two in the back are "fakes". The way I attached the rigging, sails and masts is... sloppy to say the least, yep definitely not my best point on ship-building . [bloggedcp][/bloggedcp] More pictures in my Brickshelf folder (once public). I was thinking of entering this ship in the Mocathalon (at mocpages) in the category 'Does it float ?', thing is, does it float ? Anyway, there are some other mocs on the way as well.
  9. Very nice, I remade this set for a contest a while ago but this looks much better, I particulary like how you replicated the raised baseplate typical to the original set .
  10. All right, whenever an Idea pops up I'll take pictures. I've taken some Armada soldiers pictures but this one with the shiny armor is a difficult one (I can see my reflection in the armor).
  11. 3. Esurient - 1 point 4. Frank Brick Wright - 1 point 7. MstrOfPppts - 1 point 10. Skalldyr - 1 point 11. Dr_Spock - 1 point I loved this tournament, nomatter what, good luck everyone!
  12. Once public you can find my pictures in 1280x960 format in my brickshelf folder, specifically for the new skin. Since I have some more time now I'll gladly take more pictures if someone has a specific Idea about a minifigure(s)/attributes/... combination so feel free to send me a message . My pictures are not of the best quality but decent, I try to get the best out of my camera.
  13. Nice, I like those "post" and "more reply options" buttons, I'll happely click those , that wooden background is very fitting as well.
  14. This looks very good so far, judging from the last two pictures (of the creation) I'd say the shape is great, I wouldn't change anything about that, I'm looking forward to a finished stern castle .
  15. I might not build anything but I'd like to sign up for incase I do . Question, does every entry have to be a complete creation? you see I'd like to make one-shot scenes, a carefull set-up, one camera angle, click and next to the next scene.
  16. Why the focus on tribes and black minifigures ? IMO a lego Africa theme can excist perfectly with the regular yellow minifigures. Safari and jungle expeditions (and rally cars ), that's what I want to see, the minifigures are the regular neutral yellow figures, I don't see a problem.
  17. Wait, now what side are you on ? ah! ok, I she gets fired in teh end because she isn't a bluecoat, ofcourse . Should have focused the romance in my comic on them instead of the deck scrubbers
  18. That was a brilliant plan, just a change in the wind...wasn't incalculated .
  19. What a tragedy, it got a little comlicated in the end Marshmallowians...
  20. Nice, the redcoats' plan makes sense but it's their fault not to be consistent , I like the lego color references.
  21. If there wasn't a contest there wouldn't be contestant, also without contestants it wouldn't be a contest... Thanks everyone .
  22. Nice job with accentuating the red, it gives the comic an artistic dimension, fantastic dimension I'd say. (It's obvious this is a fantasy after all, hehe bluecoats getting owned by one guy .) There's one thing though, what are those green dudes doing there in the end ?
  23. Hmmm, I've always imagined being hooked up would be a lot different . That flying war machine of yours is pretty bad-megablocks, very nice!
  24. AHA! I've got that blue particle extractor figured out, it's an illusion, there's already a redcoat waiting on the other end when the bluecoat enters the machine . That's why the delusional dude coming out sais he likes being a redcoat, he never was a bluecoat in the first place .
  25. Nicely done, I like the fighting scene, smashed table and...the banana .
