Turning bluecoats into redcoats... That's frankenstein stuff . Now you have to explain to me something about that blue particle extractor, how does a faced down incoming bluecoat convert into a face up redcoat, besides the fact that he turns from blue to red . Oh never mind, nicely done .

Very nice! I love being in a comic, especially when there's a rifle in my hand. great job with bunnington . Oh and that basket of flowers is very nice.

Very nice, the sails and rigging look great, the stern looks interesting but the brickshelf gallery isn't public yet so I'll just have to check that out later. yes, I most definitely agree .

Very nice, I like how the lieutenant eppaulets are presented in a case (book), we bluecoats are so much more professional, the poop deck tragedy was just hilarious .

For now the alternate colors can be checked out here White? perhaps, it's probably the only color to build with real bricks currently so you might see it in that color. A valid point, the sand green and gray are indeed navy-like.I'd like it in blue most, partially to differ from the typical yellow submarine but also because it's my favourite color . Thanks, there seems to be a problem with the mocpages servers, I'll try uploading the pictures via brickshelf.I'm not really a fan of black, it hides the details I think. So far there's not an easy access to the interior yet but I'm working on that, tiles and few studs will do the trick I think. That's the "red", I changed the windows to transparant yellow to match the theme but it could still use some stickers. Either way, considering the Cuusoo guidelines I won't actually refer to the Atlantis theme.

It's definitely wrong to say that there has never been an Afrika theme... But since Afrika is such extended and beautiful continent I can only agree that we need more africa lego. Just as an add; this is a very nice set fitting the theme.

Pirate Battle Display at hobby-exhibit in Denmark

Nice, seemed very cool, a motorized moving ship, you beat me to it. Mine is almost finished, imagine an Evil Steve's Pirate game with actual moving ships like ours . I spotted my sigfig aboard the Golden Whale . So where did you stuck the IR Receiver on your moving ship ? (or are you using two receivers)? -
Exactly . I originally wanted to draw attention of the redcoats before fiiring the cannon but I would have had more than 10 pictures that way. Thanks. Thanks, yeah I know, I couldn't resist Wait what? EEK! Oh no! it's not what you think

Agreed, Oh man, I want that game, I was a bit dissappointed that it wasn't possible in AC III to sail freely (while they said it would), I might just pick up my Idea of building the Aquila after all. I already have my Assassin minifigure by the way but I could indeed still use a white hood. (I use the white ninjago torso along with a POTC sabre holder) This game will defenitely get more people into lego pirates, that's for sure .
-
Maybe I should have given him a bluecoat torso... On the other hand, a bluecoat-redcoat romance makes the whole tournament a bit more dramatic, two different kinds, they can never be together... .
-
Brilliant, I will use this design, saves me a lot of technic pin connectors, it's a simple design but that makes it great for using them in large numbers .
-
Nicely done, great use of the crowbar, I only have one of those but I never would have thought of using them like this . Good luck in the contest.

Behold, my entry for the final round, may the recoats be done for once and for all. Drama, action, comedy, horror, fantasy and even romance, it is there, you just have to look closely . I hope you liked it, I included as many avatars as I could, eventhough they're not really accurate (what's with the grey legs everybody? I don't have grey legs anymore, they're used on my flying dutchman). A special thanks goes to Frank Brick Wright for leading me to the comic software I used here. I loved Duck's entries, that's why he has a more prominent role than other redcoats in the comic, If your avatar isn't in here it's because I didn't have the parts to replicate it, no other reason, if I had the parts I would have included everyone.
-
Nicely done! Filling it with redcoats isn't exactly accurate to the original set I think . I actually like the use of burps/lurps, nowadays people shoot me when I use those or raised baseplates, something about being lazy and not up to standards .
-
Based around pirates? where did you read that? I would expect they'd pick another time period to play in, Assassins Creed 3 was pretty awesome with the ship battles but it would surprise me if they'd do it again in the next game. At one point I was about to build the Aquila in Lego .

I made a submarine in Lego Digital Designer, I rarely use LDD but I had this design in my head which I couldn't realize with my current lego collection. So I decided to make a Cuusoo project out of so hopefully I will be able to buy my own set one day. I don't really like these LDD screenshots, I hope I manage to render it at some point, I didn't have succes rendering so far . More pictures can be found at Mocpages. Since I posted it there I found out that a lot of people prefer a different color than blue, so I'm counting on you to speak out which of following colors you prefer for this submarine. Blue is my own favourite color, luckely it's very easy in LDD to change colors; EDIT : technical problems, for now check out the alternate colors here Yellow Red Sand green Gray For the interested; the Cuusoo Project. This is actually my first serious cuusoo project, considering I would want to buy this set myself .

I didn't notice at first (I was to amazed by what I did see ). About that sharp bow, perhaps it looks sharper than it is for real ? In this picture it looks very sharp but I can imagine that this picture gives a wrong picture, if you know what I mean. Judging from the pictures I would also think she lacks the belly, maybe I don't see it because great part of the hull is black. ...a cross section would be useful .

Awesome! I love fact that it's going to be a pirate ship but more than that, this ships looks stunning already . At first I thought you meant "floating design" figuratively but this is crazy, keep it up!

May the best Bluecoat win . -
Very nice, the observation windows in the front look great, I love the overall shape of it and those tracks .

Now that's interesting . I'm working on more vehicles but I can't really call it a thunderbird series as I'm not able to build those large crafts like thunderbirds 1, 2 and 3, furthermore I don't want to replicate excisting designs anymore, my vehicles will be no more than "Thunderbirds inspired". About the forum, I actually wasn't sure where to post this as it might as well fit in the action forum .
