  1. "WOULD I! I WAS GOING TO ASK YOU IF I COULD JOIN YOU IN SAVING OUR SHEEP, BUT I DIDN'T KNOW IF YOU GUYS WANTED ME. I REALLY HOPE YOU GUYS WILL LET ME COME WITH YOU!" Sorsha seemed to be building with energy, but her father simply watched and scratched his beard in contemplation. "If you think you can be diplomatic with these Others, then so be it. I don't think you'll get very far though." Sorsha grabs Purpearl's hand violently shakes it up and down, almost dislocating the Mystic Knight's arm. "I GOTTA PROVE I'M CAPABLE OF DEFENDING THIS VILLAGE, AND I'M GOING TO DO IT IF YOU GUYS WILL LET ME JOIN YOU!" "We've tried keeping them inside, but that... that only led to them ripping the roofs off of the buildings the sheep were stored in and taking everything in them. I'd rather risk some sheep than all of them and any potential member of my village. I'm certain you'll think of something before they arrive." "WELL, I GUESS I'M A MASTER FIGHTER, SEEING AS HOW I DID FEND OFF MULTIPLE DEMONS AND A HORDE OF SKELETONS WITH NOTHING BUT A CHAIR AND A PLUNGER. HE WASN'T ANYTHING THAT BIG. KIND OF SHORT. HE WENT MISSING, LIKE ANYONE ELSE WHO TRIED TO STOP THE OTHERS."
  2. 122 and 117, updates will come tomorrow. I'm really tired, and I've had a long night at a hockey game.
  3. Eh, I'm cool if you want to play a were spider, but you should probably make him a bit smaller. Sandy'll have the final word though. Welcome to the game, anyways!
  4. Annienal manages to be late, looking exhausted with most of her belongings strapped to her back. "Um... huff, huff, sorry I'm a little late. I, um... got lost." Annienal felt somewhat nervous around Fabio. She was being hit on again, and it made her feel uncomfortable. "I, um, must admit, I'm not familiar with your artwork, nor your family, um, Mr. Fabio, sir. My name is Annienal Anavir, Trost- er... well, I guess Heroica." She quickly and awkwardly extends a hand. She looked around. She was familiar with everyone except the ranger. She wondered if like Docken he worshipped the Voice in the Sky. "Um... hi." She says to the ranger, waving clumsily. OOC: Stats look good. Thanks for having me, King!
  5. Well... I watched the Interview. It was.... it was something alright.
  6. I doubt it. It seems to simply be an NPC class, like Gravedigger.
  7. Annienal pockets the sharks tooth, leaving her 50 gold on the table. "Thank you, sir." Annienal returns to the board, waiting for the crowd to disperse before noticing her name on the board. "Retrieving these dyes should hopefully be easy enough, and, um, less strenuous than working with the Bonaparte's."
  8. As the party heads to the common room, Featherhead blows out the candles around the inn, leaving the party to their thoughts in their sleep... QM Note: Check your PMs. You'll be getting your next update there.
  9. ALL CAPS CHARACTER HAS RETURNED!
  10. QM Note: Noted, saved, kept somewhere so I can bring it up later. I still don't see how that's intimidation, or why you decided to use intimidation but let's move on. "Then I'd advise you to watch your tone. There were people who could shout adversaries off of mountains, once upon a time. Be thankful I am both not one of them, as well as a relatively lenient person." It seems Tarlock was still angry with Lind, glaring at him before turning to Purpearl. "Well... I hope not. Those who have been sucked up, never return." "KINDA LIKE THAT GREEN CLAD KID. HE SEEMED PRETTY TOUGH, BUT AFTER THE THIRD DAY WE NEVER DID HEAR ABOUT HIM AGAIN." Standing in the doorway was a younger woman, most likely in her late teens. She was wearing a satchel and preparing to heft a rucksack on her back, a large wooden club in her hand. Her hat was woolly and looked incredibly soft. "Oh, uh... heroes, this is Sorsha, my daughter! She's quite the talented fighter, having staved off demons!" Tarlock seemed a little surprised at Sorsha's appearance, but not in a negative way. "HELLO!" She yelled rather loudly. Sorsha looked rather enthusiastic to be seeing Heroicans. How shall the party respond?
  11. Annienal fishes the coins out for the extra five gold and neatly places them on the table, making a pile of fifty coins. "Sounds fair enough to me. Is this good?"
  12. I don't see the need. It makes things overly complicated, and I love this game for it's simplicity.
  13. "Oh... um, well, is something wrong? I don't want to cheap out of this if you think it's too low... how much do you think is reasonable? We can go back to 50 gold, if you like?" Annienal didn't want to offend the seller, but she felt he was getting had by some poor sales.
  14. The Cleric advanced classes are really varied, so it really depends on what kind of role you want to play in a party dynamic. Witch is focuses more on debuffing enemies and is more or less the one class every QM hates due to special mirror. I've gotten Endgame so many times with special mirror to a point where it's a running gag. Shaman is more healer oriented, with some really nice damage output and a really nice Shield. Although if you want to go full healer, go Druid. Roots of Life will make you the life of the party, pun totally intended.
  15. Shaman's a really solid class, and Witch is also really fun. You've got the goods to go into Shaman, but if you're wanting Witch, the Witch's Talisman is a great place to start a build.
  16. "Sounds pretty exciting! I'll take it off your hands for 45 gold, if, um... that seems fair."
  17. If you're going Shaman, you've already got two pretty good artefacts to build off. If not, sell them to Fabian or resell them in the hall at a higher price and you'll make a pretty penny. Nice find!
  18. Annienal, hearing the clanking of coins on a table, quietly meanders over to the table where a few various items are lying about. Her eyes light up as she examines the curious weapons. "Oooh. You got some nifty looking items." Annienal says, carefully looking at the items. She picks up the Shark's Tooth. "Where'd you get this?" She asks softly.
  19. "I myself haven't, but if I'm certain someone's tried it before. The beams of light have picked up people and other small items lying on the ground, so I'd assume they'd just pull up the leash and whatever it was attached to. It's a curious musing, but one that I doubt would have any effect." Chief Tarlock looks sternly at Lind. "I don't understand your tone, Whisperer. If you're trying to intimidate me, I assure you your attempts will not end well."
  20. Generally, Lind, the use of Diplomacy, Intimidation, or promiscuity are activated like so: Just add it into your roleplay naturally. Generally speaking your passive ability stops at the end of your post, or when you're finished speaking with a particular NPC.
  21. I've got some planned, but I want to wrap up one of the two I'm hosting right now. I've been debating about doing a Guild of Invision quest for awhile, but it's not clicking with me. I'm certain someone's got something planned.
  22. "Ah, straight to the Others, I see. We never see them, the only thing we see are lights in the sky, then beams shot down to the ground and our sheep are lifted into the air, as if through magic. We do not see any of them, though. These beings could be the lights themselves." "I already have my four sons running around helping with boarding up buildings and making sure families are safe inside their houses. You four have a much more important role to fulfill." "It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Matthais." Tarlock shakes Matthais's tiny hand in a firm grip. "Everything? Well then, where to start... It first started about 450 years ago, before Eubric was even founded. Our tribe was one of the first here on Uland, and although we stuck to our mountain, it seemed that something had been attracted to our sheep. Dancing lights would appear in the sky, growing bigger and bigger until finally they'd come underneath a sheep and through a beam of light would lift the sheep into the air as if through the use of magic. We were unprepared at first, and we lost almost all of our lively hood. Since then, every thirty moons the Others, as we call them, return to steal our sheep. We've hired people before, but they too went missing along with our sheep. We've tried hiding them, but the Others still manage to suck them up. I've brought you here to ensure our sheep don't get sucked up by the Others. You'll be staying outside for the night where we've left some of our sheep for the Others to take away, and when they do, you ensure they don't take the sheep. Does this make sense?"
  23. "*sniff* Duly noted, sir." The bartender wheezes as he grabs Eric his drinks. "If you find it hard to remember a woman's name, perhaps it's better if I don't know your name." Lydia replied in a belittling tone. She got out of her seat and headed for the stairs. "If you need anything, don't bother asking Featherhead here, he'll be locked in his room until first light." "Of *sniff* course." Featherhead grabs Throlar his drinks, and then shuts the Vibrataphone off, beginning his rounds to take all of the candles out. "I'll, um, be in my room, if you need me. I'm closing up for tonight. Best you *sniff* lot get some sleep, you look like you've *sniff* been through a lot." Shall the party head for bed?
  24. ...what about me?
  25. Endgame's power got knocked out by the blizzard going on in the US.
