It seemed like reinforcements were coming, and fast! Before the party could say or do anything, they were on top of them, circling around the heroes before dropping beams of light around all of them! Pits drill into the heroes stomachs as they await the worse... only for seconds to tick by with nothing happening. The party stands around, not sure what's going on until from the bottom of the only light not under a member of the party a large, black box is lowered down, with silver circular disks on each of it's four sides. An ear splitting, static sound blasts out of it, only for the sound of thumping to drum out of it, as if someone was tapping it with their palm. "THUMP THUMP THUMP!!! This thing is on, right? Oh, darn it, where is that switch..." Without warning a , pounding throughout the area, loud enough to make various items on the party's persons to begin to vibrate. The lights begin to dim, as large metal saucer hover above the party, suddenly emitting large, multi-coloured flashing lights. It'd make any red light district jealous with the sheer amount of blinking lights on these hovering metal ships. A voice erratically begins to speak to the party eagerly and encouragingly with a rather forced tone."Individuals of various races, creeds, genders, and.... um, we congratulate you! You five have been honoured with the opportunity of a life time! Why bother roaming about this boring, culturally weak and inferior planet, when you can join us for the experience of a lifetimes! However, Eric is clawed at by one of the shadows who manages to break through the party's wall, jinxing him as it's burning touch leaves a nauseating feel on Eric. The shadows take this opportunity to swarm and attack, with many of the shadows blindness wearing off. QM Note: There's two special variant rules in affect. 1. Area of effect attacks affect enemies only in the direction you are attacking in. Keep in mind that the enemies attack normally. 2. Each Flank has a reserve. When a round ends, a new Greater Shadow will enter field from the reserve. When the reserve is depleted, no more enemies will spawn.   6. Annienal begins taking deep breaths, her mind running wild as to where the creature could be, and what it looked like. "Why are we all so quiet... it's making things worse in my opinion..."
  7. Karie hits Lawrence in the ear, giving him a cold, bleak stare. "You're right. It won't change a thing, because actions have consequences, Lawrence, as you're so clearly trying to drive home, and me and you are going to be on a ship together. For almost a month. Anything can happen within a months time, Lawrence." Karie states drily. She had no intention of killing or harming Lawrence, nor could she probably, but if she could discern even a hint of worry into the paladin, it would make her feel better. She moves away and to her husband, helping him up as she silently heads to the boat.
  8. Before the party can shoot lighting bolts or sit on the sheep or toss bombs, the first light appears above them, dwarfing the party in size. At least the size of a small house, it hovers over the party menacingly before hovering over one of the sheep. Siercon shoots off a lightning bolt at the giant ball of light, the electricity seemingly absorbed by the ball. "WELP, IT WAS WORTH A SHOT." Sorsha says, sounding somewhat unfazed. The first light finds itself over one of the sheep, who begins to baa feverishly. As it's beam of light surrounds it... nothing happens. However, a log next to the sheep seems to rattle and shake, as if it's attempted to be lifted as well. "GUYS, IT CAN'T LIFT A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF WEIGHT!" Sorsha immediately bullrushes the sheep under the beam, pouncing it. Sorsha seems to stay where she is. Annoyingly, the light slowly moves to another group of sheep. "WE CAN WEIGH THE SHEEP DOWN! C'MON!" Mini-Game! Snatching Sheep from Sheep Snatchers The Other's are attempting to steal the Sheep Tribe's Sheep, but their beams can be weighed down. Each round certain groups of sheep will attempted to be stolen. The party must spread out and weigh the sheep down with their current SP added to the sheep's weight to ensure they don't get sucked up. Each beam has a power to pull up anything less than 20 SP.
