  1. No, she's getting her Twilight on, correcting poor grammar and potentially poor life choices. #PrincessofBookworminess
  2. With their minds made up, the party split up. Half of them would head for the village proper and try and speak to some of the villagers, while the other half would find Sorsha and speak to the sheep. The two groups head in opposite directions as the sun began it's descent, casting a warm orange glow across Uland below. Matthais and Siercon head for the sheep's grazing area, where they find Sorsha bashing a piece of fence. The sheep seem to lazily graze about. "MATTHAIS! SIERCON! WHAT TOOK YOU TWO SO LONG? I WAS WORRIED YOU FOUR MIGHT'VE CHICKENED OUT!... OR MAYBE SOME OF YOU DID?" "Baaa! <Oh no, Maarry, do you see this? People with pointy steel things. It can only mean one thing...>" "Baaa-baa! <Maud, don't get too upset! 3. Heckz tosses the light bomb, the explosion sending tables and chairs flying. The party takes three damage due to the debris, but that's not what shocks the party. [image] A black, skeletal figure, guant and slender, stands huddled in the corner. It contorts itself around, it's movement spastic and stilted. It slowly begins to lurch towards the party, shambling with it's arms outstretched. Just looking at it makes the party members unnerved, low whispers of playful sounding children creeping into their ears as they do so. Soon out of the encroaching shadows more skeletal figures emerge, the murmurs increasing. It wouldn't be long before the party would be beset by these creatures...
  4. Karie's arms ache as she allows her Oculoid palm to writhe it's way up her hands. She breathes heavily and raggedly. All this, and here he was before her. The Eternal Reaper. Defeated... yet somehow in his own sick way, successful. Karie grimaces at the huge monstrosity, her mind full of anger and remorse. She felt tired. Her paint was smeared with blood as well as smudged in many spots, revealing her pasty skin. "I hope you're happy Regret. I hope you're happy with whatever you feel you've accomplished. All the senseless destruction and death... just so you could get to this point... just so you could die. If one last death will end this suffering once and for all... then so be it." Karie drew Sexy.
  5. 117 and 122, I apologize for the lack of an update. I've got a train show coming up and I've been needing to rebuild things. I'll still give you guys some stuff to work with, but there won't be an image. Sorry in advance. Also, good to know you're alright Endgame! I was really worried that something awful might of happened, and I'm relieved you're alright.
  6. "I, um... I hope you mean elk?" Annienal rather obviously side steps away from Actaeon.
  7. Karie's somewhat of a mystery to me. I keep tossing between Renee Zellweger in Chicago and Harley Quinn, especially Harley when Karie gets snarky. For Annienal, she was based off of Fluttershy, and I do often think she sounds a bit like her.
  8. "Sounds like you've met some curious characters over the years." Annienal looks her cutlass over. "Oh, um, this? It's a bit of a confusing story, but I got it while working with the Bonapartes. We wound up having to fight one of their own men, and I wound up with one of these in my possession. Although, after working with them I fear that the house has more problems than just deserters and in fighting." She replies, pensive in her thoughts. "I'm good to go." "Or as ready as I'll ever be." Annienal thought to herself. A decapitating monster... she'd prefer to run like a coward with a metaphorical tail between her legs. Then again, Fabio irked her too, and she hoped he'd either stay in the village or Miderun would snap him into shape. She looked at Miderun, eyeing her hood. Just what was underneath it that was worth hiding?
  9. All is explained here. Annienal begins to put her weapons away while trying to talk to Vind. "It's... it's alright. I, um, appreciate your concern, though!" Annienal gives Vind a small, yet reassuring smile as she straps her shield to her back.
  10. Annienal stands up quickly and in worriedly looks herself over. "Am I wounded? Where? I don't feel hurt. I might be bruised a little, but that arrow didn't hit me." She manages to remove the arrow out of the shield and holds it in her hand.
  11. OOC: King, Annie attacked from the back row, so it should be 14/2=7-7=0 damage during the first round. Also, even if Annie took damage, you didn't mark it down in her stats. No biggie in the end, but I thought I'd mention it. Annienal stands up from her defensive position, panting slightly. She sits in the dirt and begins to remove the arrow notched into her shield. "That was, um... well, they were pretty irritating. I'm just glad we're all okay." She looks at Acteon, the curious ranger. She hadn't talked to him much, but she was curious about him. "Do you, um... mind telling me where you learned to shoot like that? You, um, have quite the good, if not, um, lethal aim."
  12. Was really hoping Lego would pull through with this! I cannot wait to see what they've got in store for the set. I think I could live with the 12 Doctor and Clara if push comes to shove, but I would love to see some of the different iterations at some point. Once you've got the Tardis it's only a matter of adding different locations and characters.
  13. Pratt continues to prove his ability to be both incredibly classy, and incredibly juvenile. Looks good. I'm definitely picking up at least the Raptor sets. Can never have enough raptors.
  14. The party would take Sorsha... but she'd already ran off to the sheep's grazing area, and the spot where Tarlock planned to leave some sheep. Would the party ask around, or go to Sorsha? OOC: If you want to ask around, you'll have to do it without Sorsha. Also, if you could tell me the groups more precisely, I'd appreciate it. I believe Matthais and Siercon are seeing the sheep, while Lind and Purpearl are asking around Hoogan?
  15. The party looks around, trying to look at certain things, but it's simply too dark to see anything. Maybe if they had a light they could see what they were looking for?
  16. At the sound of the cries, Annienal begins to hastily and somewhat clumsily unstrap her new shield and draws her Bonaparte cutlass. "That Enchanter's going to cause problem's, Vindsval. Put one of our heavy hitters, like Miderun first, and have her strike the Enchanter. I'd recommend you switch target's too, Vindsval. It'd be best to leave him for last and at least try to get some damage on him now and then leaving him for when his allies are defeated. If, um, you get where I'm coming from..." Annienal strikes the Exhausted Raider from the back row with the Bonaparte Cutlass. OOC: I'd recommend we leave the Enchanter alone after Miderun attacks him to ensure we don't run the risk of him healing his allies. I can soak up a few of his free hits later, and once the other three are dead we'll focus on the Enchanter. At least that's how I would plan this. It's up to you Asphalt.
  17. Like a Blackadder Hugh Laurie, when he's playing Lt. George? Yes, I can see that.
  18. Depends, really. Mystic Knight is very heavy on tanking. They've got okay damage output too, but it's a very heavy tank class. Evoker's more AoE, and it's ability to summon can be very helpful. Again, depends on what you want to play.
  19. The party returns to the main hall of the Weeping Inn. It's the dead of night, but despite this, there seems to be no light coming from the moon, or anywhere else in the building. It must be a cloudy night. The irritable scratching noise continues to claw away, almost into the party's brains, the only other sound filling the space is the party's own breath. What will the party do now?
  20. "Do you have any idea how much farther you had to go until reaching the golden lotus?" Annienal asked, trying to gather information as Vindisval and Miderun began to chat with old friends. Annienal covers her ears and begins humming to herself, not wanting to hear the answer. Annienal instinctively bowed in the presence of the two friends of Miderun and Vindsval. "Annienal Anavir, it's, um, a pleasure to, um, meet you." Annienal reluctantly held her hand out to shake the two's hands. "Oh, um, that cape looks like I could make something of it later, if you don't mind I'll pay for it now, Miss Lacey." Annienal hands the 40 gold to Lacey.
  21. "I THINK ANOTHER HERO TOOK IT... I DON'T REMEMBER. NEEDLESS TO SAY, I DON'T HAVE IT ANYMORE. SORRY." The party's unanimous decision to allow Sorsha into their fold is meet with the young woman's excitement. She picks up Matthais and hugs him, nearly squeezing the breath out of him. "I WON'T LET YOU GUYS DOWN, I PROMISE! I'LL MEET YOU AT THE SPOT WHERE WE'RE LEAVING A FEW SHEEP!" Sorsha ran ahead, leaving the party in Tarlock's house. As they prepared to chase after her, Tarlock coughs, trying to get the party's attention. "I have no reason to not let my daughter assist you in saving my village's sheep, she's a strong, independent young woman, but... I've almost lost her once before. I am very proud of my daughter for what she did in the Academy of Enlightenment, but I worry her bullrush attitude as well as her temper will get her hurt one day, or worse. Do not let anything happen to my daughter. I am leaving her in your care. Do I make myself clear?" Tarlock seemed dead serious towards the party, even a little intimidating in their eyes. Tarlock was clearly worried about his daughter.
  22. Nope, these are definitely new. The biplane looks pretty cute, and the lighthouse looks pretty substantial in terms of a build, although I question the need for the jail door right above the normal one. Wouldn't some other place to hold Daphne hostage make more sense? Oh, well, they look like great builds! Also really loving the parts in new colours and the figures in the Lighthouse set.
  23. Annienal covers her ears as the Half Giant yells suddenly. "Um, sorry, I wasn't expecting you to yell suddenly." Annienal did nothing but pace on the boat during the entirety of the trip, her mind racing about, trying to not think about the monster guarding the flower. Reaching Tridentia, she at least felt better than on the boat. "Ehehe, yeah, of course." Annienal replies half heartedly. She wasn't ready for a monster with vorpal abilities. "I, um, do have to question where this flower is, or at least where you think it is? What kind of terrain should we expect?" Annienal looks around the city. Why couldn't they just stay here? "Wait, so the colour to this place went missing? Can, um, someone explain what happened last time you were here? I, um, don't want to be left out of the loop."
  24. I don't know if that line was meant to be sexual, but I got a giggle out of this. An incredibly juvenile giggle.
  25. "I, um, really don't like Annie-Mal as a nickname." Annie replies, sounding a little irritated. "I've seen plenty of book covers. Which ones in particular?" Annienal's interest in Fabio seems to increase, although her demeanour drops entirely as the man explains the job. "D-d-decapitated? I, um, oh my... I um, hope this was a, um, solo incident... right?" Annie seemed to get increasingly distressed.
