  1. Round 1 of the Battle! Battle Order: >Throlar vs. Shadow A- Special Damage/Hit (12+1=13 damage) >Heckz vs. Shadow C- Sleight of Hand (-1 ether, Shadow C Confused) Eric- Downs a Mead (Eric is Encouraged) Eric vs. Shadow B- Shield (Shadow A, B, and C Blinded! 15+25+2=42x2=84 damage. ) Shadow D vs. Decoy- 10 damage Shadow E vs. Throlar- 10/2-6=0 damage Shadow F vs. Heckz- 10/2-3=2 damage Shadow's G and H Join Combat! The battle starts off strongly as Throlar manages to land a hit on his opponent. Heckz casts a spell on one of the shadows, causing it to become confused. Erik rips into multiple of the skeletal creatures, barrelling his way about. However, the party is so focused one front that the other manages to grab them from behind, dealing damage as their boney claws grab at the party, burning them. They wheeze and mutter unintelligible nonsense as the battle continues. The party can hear a door opening. "Wha-what's all the ruckus going on? I heard an ex-" At the sight of the shadows, Featherhead immediately shuts the door to his room. The party can hear him begin to weep furiously from his room. The party can hear thunderous footstep boulder down as Lydia stands looking over the carnage from the bottom of the stairs. "What in the hel's going on?" She's suddenly rushed by a shadow, the creature lunging for her from the darkness. She swiftly pulls out her sword and begins to hack away at the shambling entity. "I assume, your... urk, going to need some help?" QM Note: There's two special variant rules in affect. 1. Area of effect attacks affect enemies only in the direction you are attacking in. Keep in mind that the enemies attack normally. 2. Each Flank has a reserve. When a round ends, a new Greater Shadow will enter field from the reserve.   3. I seriously hope Lego doesn't try and air this 22 minute short on television. That animation is super choppy at points. Other than that, I'm digging this theme's backstory and tone. Seems we've got a deceased grandmother leaving behind heirlooms for her granddaughter to use so she can get sucked away to magical dimensions in time and space, as well as hang out with Ashleigh Ball elf and company.

Would the party like to head back to the sheep's grazing area? ----- Maud shakes her head. "Baaaaaa! <Nope. Just whoever's out and about. If there's none left, sometimes they'll lift the roofs off of buildings and snatch the ones being hidden in there. Once they've got enough of us, they fly away... so many of our friends and family... gone.>" At Matthais's suggestion the two sheep begin to baa like crazy, the two heroes hearing "Nope, nope, nope!" "THAT JUST SOUNDS LIKE BAD NEWS. HOW WOULD WE ESCAPE? EVERYONE WHO'S ABDUCTED NEVER RETURN... WE SHOULD WAIT AND SEE WHAT YOUR FRIENDS HAVE TO SAY BEFORE WE MAKE UP A PLAN." Sorsha nods. After mentioning the abductions, she sounds a bit melancholic.

The heroes could see other movements in the shadows, as if more of these abominations could lunge out at the party at any moment. The creatures moan and wheeze ghastly as they move closer to the party, twitching occasionally as their outstretched arms begin to grab at the party! They always hover about 15 feet above ground, but we've never seen anything come out of these lights. Just big balls of blinding light that beam sheep up... and occasionally our tribesmen..."   19. Terrorwin, if you're interested in joining the game, please read the FAQ. You've disrupted a quest and basically disrupted the flow of the narrative. Make a character up and post in the hall. I'm talking to KingofZempk so he can speak to Sandy, the Heroica Master, about this, but it's always wise to read around a little bit and ask questions if you don't know what you're doing.
