  1. Okay, I wasn't entirely sure.
  2. Like other's have said, ditch the NPCs. The whole fun of the Decamon tournament was supposed to be playing with other heroes, and a lot of us never got to. I do agree in switching the Decamon Tournament with another event this year, so we actually do have a Grogmas event. Other than that, I'd like to see it done again. It's a good way to get some cheap items, and there were some cool moments. One question I have though is was the Decamon Drafter class actually given out? Did anyone get ahold of it?
  3. Karie shakes out of her daze, feeling disgusted. "Ugh... and there I was thinking I was... never mind what I was thinking." Karie strikes the Apex tail from the presumed safety of the back row. "I'm going to need a heal soon, guys!"
  4. Then just play a Cleric who worships Danab. Problem solved.
  5. OOC: Am I still stunned? Doesn't stunned last one round?
  6. Sorry to basically Endgame and my questees, no update tonight. I'm on my phone and without a lab top, and losing power. I'll have updates tomorrow, but all's well, no need to worry.
  7. Maybe male's that get access to the class have to cross dress? I think it's a little too much. I'm fine with items being gender inclusive, since it makes sense at times, (as much as some would want that Catsuit. ) but for a class, I think it's not the best solution.
  8. Concerning Miko: First off, I love the flavour. We don't have a lot of Eastern inspired classes, and this one's got a lot of potential. Secondly, I think the class is a little too weak for an Expert... but also too powerful and incredibly complicated. Not enough ether, and not enough health, for starters, but the rolls are confusing. Just make 5 and 6 Damage and Special Damage. The success rolls are also way too powerful. Buff Ofuda. Cursing is pretty bad, but make it have a 1/2 chance on each opponent, and have it cost ether. If the class is mainly support/enemy de-buff (which it appears to be), the damage output shouldn't be so high. Also, it needs more Job Traits. I'm not to sure how much I like Omikuji, but it's not horrible if ether burn is built into the class (if you made each scroll cost twice the ether for success, I could buy it as viable and strategically interesting ). There's potential here, it just needs some work. What WBD said. Why do we need paths when there's classes that do it for us? If you want to play an offensive role, go for an offence class. If you want to play a defensive role, play a defensive class.
  9. The Advanced Classes are already "paths" so to speak. You go from Rogue, to Rogue+Knight/Cleric/Mage/Barbarian/Ranger, etc. Include artefacts and there's really no need for paths when the game's design already has it from the get go.
  10. Really? I thought everything was better with shipping? HMS Regral, all the way! Bonus points to whomever can figure out which two heroes I'm referring to!
  11. Karie does something from the back, mumbling to herself and seemingly stumbling about.
  12. Annienal makes her way back into the hall noticing the commotion at the quest board. She takes a seat, not interested in what either of the houses have to offer.
  13. I think my only real complaint is Dragon Tamer. Can't most dragons talk, though? I mean, dragon's are generally depicted as intelligent, sentient creatures, so having a skill called Dragon Tamer seems a little off, I suppose. Is it basically Diplomacy when speaking to dragons? Other than that, I see no real issues.
  14. Korra. Korrakorra. Korrakorrakorrakorra. Just Korra. There might be some Korra references in an upcoming quest, but their subtle. It's mainly in how two characters play off each other, but I don't know if I'm going to include them. And it's not KorrAsami.
  15. Current Sign Ups for Quest 122: Invasion of the Sheep Snatchers -Darksten, Level 12.5 Ranger (Comrade Commander) -Thalion Dwinlas, Level 31.25 Artisan (-obelix-) -Althior Emorith, Level 40.4 Necormancer -Bobby "Young" Bucks Jr., Level 4 Rogue (Zepher) -Grimwald Gjinko, Level 19.5 Sage (LordoftheNoobs) -Warlen Melimane, Level 8 Mage (The Chosen Minifigure) -Benji Carvenhall, Level 50 2/5 Prophet (Flare) -William Harkenshire, Level 21.6 Warden (Fred Daniel Yam) -"The Demon Germ", Level 5 Rogue (samuraiturtle)
  16. Annienal makes her way to the Market, looking around before picking up a new shield and selling her old one. She held it in her hand before, making sure it was both light enough and durable enough to withhold in a fight. (313-50+20=283 gold) Annienal then picks up two remedies before heading over to Gnomeo's and purchasing a shovel in silence. (283-30=253 gold) Annienal then departs from the market.
  17. Aren't there artefacts that do that? Why are we trying to fix something that isn't broken? Sure, some of the Expert classes need work, but the Advance classes have already been balanced. I see no need in trying to add to them. Speaking of Expert Classes, what ever happened to Cavalier? I really liked the idea of that class.
  18. I think the Advanced Classes are fine the way they are. Having three combined together just seems nuts, and it's basically the Master Classes but weaker.
  19. These guys are cute, in their own, Lego-ish sort of way! Good job!
  20. Quick question/info gathering: I've been watching LOG HORIZON on and off recently, and some of the things that happen in the show made me wonder about their potential implications in our little game. So the question I want to ask you guys is this: How do you guys feel about a Raid Boss style quest, and if one were to happen, what would you like to see in it?
  21. I enjoyed 119 for what it was. It had a solid setup, some fun characters, and I also enjoyed the sleuthing aspect for what it was worth. It's what I sort of hoped Marketplace Mystery would've been, but that's beside the point. Sets were awesome, enough said. I really enjoyed the first battle, and while the second wasn't great, it was at least passable. I really enjoyed the tactic behind the Spirits, and I loved the specials! It would've been tough against higher level opponents, since heroes seem to love jamming as many gems into their weapons as humanly possible, but here it served as a rather well thought out and still challenging fight! The battle against Caldera was... well, it wasn't bad. I get where you were going with it, but in the end it just seemed to be Lee beating everyone to a pulp, but it at least wasn't unfair in any way. You balanced Caldera out, so I'm not that miffed about it. I'll also admit there were moments where I legitimately felt pressured. Maybe that's because of Annie's personality, but there were moments I felt legitimately worried about making a mistake or screwing up with my words, especially around Jun. It just seemed to be a tense quest. I guess there's only two real things I want to complain about, and while one's not that important, the other I feel did hamper the quest. First off was loot. It was good, but I'm realizing now as a knight just how few shields there actually are out there. I felt most of the loot from the first fight went to Warlen, and the second wasn't bad, it just seemed to be focused on a higher level party. Again, not the worst thing ever, but not the best. The one thing I do want to complain about was that eventually the quest did drag, and did feel a little repetitive. Perhaps some extra photos of Bullsworth's place would've helped, but the last investigation felt a little long. I know the holidays may have something to do with it, but again, that's the only really legitimate complaint I have about the quest besides the fact I felt that perhaps the Bonapartes are continually being portrayed as a bunch of schemers, bullies, and backstabbers, but again, there were NPCs that did help lean against that fact. Bullsworth seemed relatively loyal to the house, and also the kind I'd expect from the house, and although Oberro was harsh, I got why he was so too. He's seen his house name tarnished, and floundered about that he'd want to weed out the schemers and the backstabbers. I guess we just need some more positive showing of house Bonaparte, because every time we see them they're almost always being antagonistic. Bottom line, it was a really good quest with a few things that hampered it from being great, but I'm glad I got on it. Thanks for the quest, Sandy, I had a lot of fun.
  22. Certain smithies can perma-poison a weapon. Otherwise, you have to find the permanent poison consumables to add the effect onto a weapon. They're rare, and for a reason.
  23. Speaking of class changes, anyone got suggestions for Annie? She could basically go into any of the Advanced Knight classes and have a decent start out, but I want to build her to tank, and be more defensive. Anyone wanna lend a poor, noobie knight player some assistance?
  24. OOC: Wait, did my Tasty Pretzel do nothing? Karie spits the Tasty Pretzel out. "Gah, it's gone stale!" Karie strikes the Apex tail from the back row.
