Doctor Who, Torchwood, Sarah Jane Adventures...
Teessider replied to The Kid's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Brilliant trailer. I'm looking forward to the 50th anniversary special and the doco-drama about the beginning of Doctor Who. I wonder what the significance of the rock with the face that Matt Smith is standing on is? I bet it's important. -

Brilliant news. Apparently they're going to be released on DVD early next year . -
That's a great depiction of the minifigure. When I looked at the thumbnail I thought it was the original minifigure for a second. I like the sabre in particular.

Sounds like a great idea. It'll be interesting to see how this develops.

Great MOCS. You've captured the differences in the shapes of the two ships. I've heard a lot of good things about Ikaruga and yours and Fabz's MOCS are making me more interested in checking it out.

Brilliant MOC. It really looks like the Ikaruga ship.

That's a brilliant MOC. It gets my vote on CUUSOO. I would love to see this as an official set.

That's a great station with lovely architectural details. I look forward to seeing more.

Micro Industry- http://lego.cuusoo.com/ideas/view/50631 I think that this is a really interesting idea for a theme with a lot of educational potential. Parthenon-http://lego.cuusoo.com/ideas/view/51807 I love the detail on this model. I think that it would work great with the architecture line.

Are LDD entries allowed for the competition? -
Brilliant MOC. I especially like the top section of the column.

Bricksauria- http://lego.cuusoo.com/ideas/view/48453. I think that this dinosaur has a lot of interesting detail and would make for an interesting display piece.

Brilliant use of technic bricks. I love how you've used the bricks to make the architecture and the interior details.
-
Brilliant MOC. The use of curved pieces gives the appearance of actual brushstrokes. The brick-build brushes and pots are a nice touch too.

Lego Worms: http://lego.cuusoo.com/ideas/view/46389. This a new project that was only put up today. I love the Worms series' quirky and absurd humour and, in my opinion, there is potential for a lot of visual variety in a Worms theme due to the variety of landscapes and the often ridiculous weapons.

Wow. I love the use of pieces for small architectural details, such as the balconies, and the photography is great too.

Your designs are great. You've really captured the appearance and facial features of the individual doctors. I'm looking forward to seeing more.

You could start by experimenting with building different kinds of architectural features, so that you can develop the overall feel of the place. Are you thinking of a specific type of town or village?

Transforming Retro Video Game Accessories- http://lego.cuusoo.com/ideas/view/14089#. I think that this is a clever idea that has a cool late-80s, early 90s feel to it. I'd love to see how the multi-form functioning of the models works.

Another great bike Fabz.

I thought it would be interesting to have a thread where we share projects from Cuusoo that we find interesting. I like seeing the range of MOCS that can be made from Lego bricks and this site has some really interesting ideas. Apologies if there is already a topic about this. Tiny Trucks-http://lego.cuusoo.com/ideas/view/17818 I find the microscale style of building to be really interesting and would love to see more Lego sets that use this style. I think this set would also make a great playset for kids with an interest in vehicles, because it could contain a wide range of trucks while still being practical in terms of storage space. Lego Mondrian-http://lego.cuusoo.com/ideas/view/4301 I think that this is a really interesting interpretation of Mondrian's work in 3D and a unique design for a house and car. I think that the micro swimming pool is a nice touch. Red Squirrel-http://lego.cuusoo.com/ideas/view/7162 and Lego Bird Series http://lego.cuusoo.com/ideas/view/16897 I think that these brick-built animals are beautiful and would make great display pieces. They also have educational potential and I would love to see sets like these released with informative Architecture-style booklets.
