  1. Cute build! (And great roof :-) )
  2. Jaw-dropping! Not a big fan of victorian architecture but it is a solid build. What makes it shine though is the interior. Just..... Wow!
  3. That is a nice representation! Does it actually fit a minifig inside?
  4. I think it looks good enough to be an official set! Great work, like the additions you made!
  5. As Kristel said: stunning. Could you post more pictures?
  6. Damn! 11 years old? Using snot and better landscaping then I've ever managed? Give that kid his own account at EB so I can learn some techniques from him. I can't really offer any CC, it's just wonderful!
  7. My, what an impressive building. I can image being a minifig and see that thing towering over me.. Brrr! It's the type olf building parents threaten their children with: ' johnny eat your veggies or else.... I'll put you in Arkham!'. Great build!
  8. My advise would be to just start. Build a small cottage on a smalle baseplate and take it from there. You get a feel for the ammont of bricks you'll need, the number of buildings, the style etc. If it is a village you want to build I'd wait with the castle.. They eat up a lot of bricks. Maybe just a watchtower of some sort?
  9. I'll take this as an architecture set please!
  10. Hey Salvo, that is a really nice house. Place a few of these next to each other and you have a real nice suburb. Somehow this house screams 'ocean view' to me, must be the balvony on the front of the buidling!
  11. Wow Nom, that is a fine entry. I like the AA gun and the fact that everyone is fighting around it, it makes it feel like a very clustered battle. If i could offer some cc: some more ruble and debris from the ongoing battle would liven the scene up even more. Brick on!
  12. I'd like more retail/residential combo's. Plenty of options: Flowerstore with a greenhouse out back Butchershop Woodworker/furniture store Store for musical instruments
  13. Thanks for the feedback everyone, I'll alter it a bit when I have the time. Forgot it is a WIP until the deadline, good thing to know!
  14. Great build! As mentioned, the roof and sidewalk really stand out.
  15. Thanks for the feedback MstrofPpts! The window was inspired by that scene at the end of the empire strikes back, and the interior by the Tantive IV... at least the whiteness of it all! So at least there are some ships in the rebellion that are still white and clean on the inside. Besides that it is also a practical choice: I haven't got enough grey bricks to make it more greyish
  16. Hi Guys! Today I had both inspiration and time, so I decided to build my entry. This is my first SciFi build in 16 years and my first Star Wars moc ever.. so please be gentle! The hull is full of civilians from cloud city. People from all walks of life: blue collar working men, priests, tramps and children packed together tightly like sardines in a can. The evacuation was... messy, to say the least. The stampede of civilians trying to reach or ship was frightening. Doc got pushed of the platform trying to get to a little girl that was in danger of being trampled. Perhaps he was lucky. It was a quick death without pain or suffering. That's a faith the poor men and women in the sleeping quarters face. These are the most severely wounded. Trampled, cut or even shot up they lay on the beds of the crew. Since Doc bought it, I am the next most eligible candidate to check on this sorry bunch. But frankly, I don't know what I'm doing....
  17. Pilot Hobbythom reporting for duty! I come from a poor, backwater planet. That piece of dirt just got out of the dark ages really. However, I did manage to, er..., 'win' an old Y-fighter from some one-eyed Twi'lek recently so I thought to myself: 'Hobs, why not give this whole rebelling thing a try?'. Next thing I know I am wearing an orange jumpsuit and going places... So far so good!
  18. HI there! I'd like to join the Rebellion! Since the pilot is the only SW fig I've got, that's what I'll be!
  19. Probably not, but I think bears like the pickers! Now that I think of it, could the bear be a hallucination?
  20. Impressive angles and techniques! Looks a lot like the original!
  21. Hi LT, Wonderful little machineries. You can't have a store without product! One minor nitpick though: It's a lot of black and white.. The floor, the shelves, the boxes and drums, the tools and even the guy behind the counter. Perhaps some more colour would liven it up even more? Brick on!
  22. That bedouin tent is wonderfull! Nice build
  23. Great little scene! I love the big pine tree!
  24. Really nice! The effect of the legs is quite convincing!
  25. You managed to capture the typical Amsterdam atmosphere really well! The organ and the tram are great. I am equally impressed with the station. Overall really good stuff!
