  1. Welcome to Eurobricks, Batgirl78! Have a good time here.
  2. What's really valuable when you post MOCs is the feedback and C&C you get, not the approval of your peers. Adding a "like" button would make Eurobricks more like Facebook, and you know how inane that can be at times .
  3. Incredible! The 3/4 picture makes it look just like a shark. You got the shape perfect.
  4. I like the look of the racing lorry. Brings back happy memories.
  5. Your past Mafia experience I'm playing in Aperture Academy. Shadows and Darkdragon need to give me a before I can play with the big boys and girls. Your ability to focus on the game over the next 32 days Busy at school, same as ever. Yes. Will you be able to keep up with 20 hour NA deadlines? Yes. Your favorite Mafia moment When everyone ignored Rufus in The Forest II and let Shadows get away with being obvious scum. Also all of Witch Hunt Mafia. Tell me why you think Vanilla Townies are important or how they are most useful They provide a numbers advantage, can cover for power roles by being messengers and can put unbiased logic to work. (6 steps in a Mafia application?) Give me your word that you'll participate in whatever crazy concoction I've doctored to avoid the meta-gaming. It will take everyone's cooperation and to operate on their honor. I like crazy stuff. I'll let you do whatever you want.
  6. Do you mean that you think Jeanie is trying to deflect the vote onto Chuckie or Claire and then you voted for Chuckie anyway? I really agree with Claire. Chuckie needs to say more, but what Jeanie says doesn't convince me. Time to place my vote. Vote: Jeanie Bueller (badboytje88)
  7. I was going to vote for Chuckie today because of his obstinate lack of participation. Lurkers help the town lose. I mean, see his post today and a bit of what he said yesterday, in which he essentially admitted to lying low. Playing to survive the lynches and scumkills (but really vig-kills for scum) is not the way to go. But then... I know Brian (and Mary Jane?) think it's weird I suspect Jeanie, but she's made two very odd comments today: The first comment seems clueless and the second is very scummy. Jeanie seems to be on the fence between Chuckie and Claire, and then suddenly is certain that Claire must be the mole. I can't decide. I think I really need to hear more from Chuckie and from Jeanie before I make a decision.
  8. OK. Quick warning: I'm in class for the next four hours so if I don't finish saying something, I'll come back and say it then. That's really dodgy there. Scum have a 100% chance of choosing someone to frame (unless they're blocked). The investigator as about a 5% (1/20) chance of choosing that person. Coincidence is not that far-fetched, and I think that's what happened in this case. Right. The numbers suggest that luck is possible. I am not a mole, but I can't speak for Claire and Adriano (hint: I think they're town, and that scum were lucky on the frame). Said under pressure from Adriano. I merely talked to Claire in PM about it (knowing you, Brian, love to jump over everything I say) and Claire says I'm town. Claire, please confirm this. Claire asked me what I thought about Simone before she told me she was working with the investigator. Claire, please confirm this. If it's illogical, why do you think I'm scum because I voted for Jeanie after Andrew got a town result on her? I thought she was the godfather on Day Six. I thought the same yesterday and voted for her as a sort of proxy before seeing if town voted for Burton. And I was right in my concerns; we lost another townie last night. I asked Claire (here and in PM) to confirm some bits that you have to take my word on for the moment.
  9. Mary Jane - I'm not a stats guru but that looks better. It's unlikely that the framer and the investigator would target the same person on the same night, but the evidence still says that it indeed happened.
  10. Wow! Lots of talk has happened while I was away from school. I need to catch up a little bit, but here are some of my initial reactions Haha I'm bad at grammar. You sound really weird when you say that - why did you think the kill wouldn't pass on? Yes, I talked to you, and you said you were talking to the investigator. You asked me what I thought about Simone, and I said I thought she was scum and that's it.
  11. First point: It looked on Day Six like scum were trying to lynch Andrew to get closer to victory. Brian and Davey said so. Also this: Brian said that ^^ . So I sincerely doubt that Andrew had a "good chance of being voted out any day". He was the claimed investigator. That why scum must have killed him - I mean, from what Andrew said, they blocked him several days in a row. They probably wanted to block other people. Second point: It means there was a frame or some fishy business going on. Andrew had no incentive to lie; "Black Mesa Infiltration Guide" must have been the actual result. That means it was a frame, since we don't have paranoid cops around here, do we? Or insane cops (Ricky was investigated town and proven town). And now we have a new scum killer to lynch, apparently.
  12. 3 - ThuakaFilms - 1 8 - Kristel - 2 9 - Purpearljellyblob - 2
  13. Looks good, jaredchan! Maybe you could put some trans-clear cheese slopes on the bonnet of the saloon? The windscreen cuts off abruptly at the moment.
  14. That seems to be directed at my argument with Brian. I wasn't "pushing hard" but I was trying to explain why that is not a bad option to consider, which he refused to listen to. No-one's chosen that option for another lynch candidate and the lynch has moved to Burton while I was asleep, so I'll just agree that lynching Burton is a good thing to do. Unvote: Jeanie Bueller (badboytje88) Vote: Burton Guster (Jedi master Brick)
  15. Supposing we might lynch someone else, my vote is the same as it was yesterday. Vote: Jeanie Bueller (badboytje88) But if we don't lynch anyone today, we'd be in the same position tomorrow and that would be terrible. So my vote is open to change.
  16. I did a search of this forum and I couldn't find a speculation thread or rumor mill, so here goes: I was browsing reddit (bad idea, I know) and I found this picture. 14197 isn't a real set number, so it might be something new. The comment thread said the box was as tall as a normal person (a bit under 6 feet) and weighed 850 pounds. So it might be a model for LEGOLAND or something - I don't know. I bet some of you have seen it already; it's on the front page. Sorry if I posted this in the wrong place; I did the appropriate searches beforehand. Sorry - comment thread is here.
  17. Mary Jane: There are certain "house rules" to mafia on EB such as roleplaying and pretty pictures. It seems to be standard practice here for one person to be the killer, and when the killer is lynched or killed, someone else becomes the killer. A recent example is in the story of Winter Haven, a certain cat killed people at night and then was killed by the town. Subsequently, a certain sheep became the Felix Fox killer. Judging from precedent, I feel perfectly comfortable perma-blocking Burton while we find the rest of the scum.
  18. No. I'm protecting the town from the certainty of a scum kill tonight if we lynch Burton. On Day Five, the issue was that Shawna had claimed serial killer and people (Davey, Adriano, Cameron) believed her serial killer claim and seemed interested in keeping her around to kill scum. I wasn't trying to switch the bandwagon. This situation is entirely different. I have no problem expelling Burton, because he's probably scum, but if we do, scum will no doubt have another killer tonight, killing more townies. You seem not to understand that. Ideally, we'd neuter the scum by blocking their killer every night and lynch Burton last. There will never be a point at which the scum no longer have a kill - that defeats the purpose of them being scum. Now we know who the scum killer is, do you really want to trade a short-term benefit (lynching a scum) for long-term losses (losing townies to an unknown new scum killer)? You seem to be going really hard against me, and my only crime is pointing out a little problem of benefits and losses in which I prefer keeping the scum killer until the end, but blocking him indefinitely. If you want, you can keep shouting, but you seem really keen to let the scum kill pass on to someone else. Next time, read my entire post before you respond angrily.
  19. If we lynched someone else, hoping they are scum is a risk we have to take, but we have to balance that against the fact that if we lynch the probable scum killer today, there will no doubt be a scum kill tonight. I'm not trying to protect the probable scum killer - I'm suggesting a way to protect the town by neutralising the probable scum killer's night action. It's also a numbers thing. If we keep a certain lynch until tomorrow and remove the night action in the meantime, if we accidentally lynched a townie today it would be less dreadful than if we lynched the killer today, lose a townie tonight then accidentally lynch a townie tomorrow. With respect to a "less important night action" - don't you think that framing, for example, is less important to scum than killing? The moment we lynch the killer (like last time), the kill will go to someone else and the scum will probably give up a "less important night action" to regain the kill, if they are already saturated with night actions. This isn't about scum lynching someone else instead of the killer, because the killer will be blocked again tonight. Also, you're shouting. It scares the children.
  20. Exile on Main Street. Currently on:
  21. Ah - but a scum team without a kill is severely underpowered because then it relies on the lynch to do the killing which is not ideal for the scum. I imagine if there was a four-person scum team with four actions and the killer is lost, the scum would give up a less important night action such as blocking or framing. I'm sure that if we expelled Burton (and he's the scum killer, as I suspect), there'd be another scum killer on the loose tonight.
  22. Well, Shawna was the claimed Serial-Killer-but-actually-scum, so the best guess is that yes, someone else has the scum kill. Also (I can't find where it is at the moment) Cameron said the doctor inherited that action after the original doctor was killed on Night One. I disagree on Andrew and Adriano. No, that's not what I think. Did you misread: I meant that you and Andrew should not be considered as lynch candidates because I think you're both town. I explained yesterday why I'm certain Andrew is town. I have no evidence against you. I don't want to lynch you. Sorry, Mary Jane, I misread what Bob said about Adriano that you quoted. It seems you both don't think Adriano is scum?
  23. So when do we get the pretty forum skin back?
  24. I think Adriano and Andrew should be out as lynch candidates. If we want to lynch Burton today, that's cool because the block result suggests he's the scum killer. However, we'd risk losing a townie to a new scum killer in the night. Should we trade lynching the scum killer for losing a townie and not having any clues tomorrow? Clarification: If we lynch the scum killer, we probably lose a townie and don't have any clues tomorrow. If we block the scum killer, we wouldn't lose a townie in the night, and we could lynch a different scum today.
