  1. Hi, I don't have experience with that controller. What I know is that the gamepad should be MFI compatible on iOS.
  2. Hi, sure the next app release for iOS will contain the C+ support (along with the train controls) but it takes a bit more time than releasing on Android.
  3. Yes, it is pissible, however i cannot remember how much i restricted it in the settings (i'm on holyday atm). i' m gonna check that when getting home. The new L and Xl motors should return to the starting position, but the starting position is not set to abs zero degrees at startup. I need to figure out how to do that.
  4. Hi, I'm going to upload the latest apk to dropbox in the weekend. Yes, as @kbalage mentioned I've already added support for the Technic Hub (this is the device's name packed with the Lego 42099 set). Motors are working in normal and servo mode, the only missing thing is the servo calibration. I'm planning to add that too once I have the set.
  5. Hi, after updating the sbrick firmware to the latest one (version 23) I was still able to connect and control my sbrick, but after deleting it from the device list it can not discover it anymore. It looks like the sbrick guys have changed something and I need to update the app. The fix will be available in the next release hopefully very soon... Update: I checked it again and now BrickController2 can discover the SBrick even with the updated firmware. What Android version does your phone run on?
  6. BrickController2 1.7 has just been released for Android: - Initial support for the new technic hub - Minor bug fixes iOS version will be released later according to the AppStore review process...
  7. Hi, thanks for reporting this issue. I just found the bug in the app and will be fixed in the next release.
  8. @kbalage created a great review and tutodial video on BC2. It explains quite well how it works. In case any difficulties I'll help you! :)
  9. Hi, I did some research with the IR diode in headphonejack combo and it was kind of working but only from ~20cm at most. This is why I eventually didn't add support for it in BrickController 2. You can buy even new phones with IR support, eg. some Xiaomi phones are still shipped with it.
  10. Hi, I don't know this controller, but according to this site the connection methods are the followings: For iOS: Press B and HOME key for long timeFor Android: Press X and HOME key for 5 s Hope it helps :)
  11. Hi, Yes, I'm aware of the port swapping on some BuWizzes. I thought before I had fixed it, but apparently there are still BW2 devices with this issue. Have you tested the controller button in the controller tester if it works at all? It would be strange if it was ok but can't operate the lights.
  12. Ah ok, so I need to create a virtual port. I'll try that... Thanks for the info.
  13. Ah ok, I managed to operate the PUP hub outputs separately. Do you know if there is still an option to operate both outputs by issuing a single BLE command? It used to be '0x08, 0x00, 0x81, 0x39, 0x11, 0x02, 0x00, 0x00' where the last two bytes defined the output levels. 0x39 as port id is no longer working apparently.
  14. Have you guys realized that something has changed on the control protocol? I just updated the firmware of my PU hub and can't control it anymore. The connection itself still works though.
  15. I was informed that the Powered UP can't be controlled by BC2 and I can confirm that the latest firmware update for PU has changed something relating to the control protocol. I'm working on the fix...
  16. Hi, whan phone and android version did you try on? And is the official app working with your SBricks? Hmm, that's good to know, thanks :)
  17. Which application are you using to control the SBrick?
  18. Hi, I'm not sure if it's the right place to ask but does anyone know if anybody has downloaded/archived the building instructions stored on Google+? G+ will be shut down on 2nd of April and there are lots of BIs on it, eg. the excellent instructions from @Madoca 1977. I'm really affraid of loosing them.
  19. Thanks, cool that you like it :) Good ideas, I'll try to put them in. This is also a good idea and I was thinking of it. It can be however a bit tricky to share a profile with others because obviously they use other devices and unfortunately the button and joy mapping is different among the different gamepads. But if you would like to copy a profile only from one of your own devices to another that could work.
  20. @Cosmik42 I guess it's BuWizz2. In this case you need to issue a write request on the characteristic (write WITH response). For BuWizz1 however you need to issue a write command (write WITHOUT response).
