  1. Yes, and sometimes the stepper function of the new motors not that accurate, so it tends to shift a little bit. My idea is to use the servo function instead with a predefined sequence of angles. Hopefully that would be better for such functionality.
  2. Hi, BC2 version 2.7 has been released for Android: Changes:- Dark mode- Updated UI:- Swipe to delete items- Updated dialogs- Fixed joy dead zone option- Added joy active zone option- Fixed SBrick direction handling when setting zero output Version 2.8 for iOS containing the controller action creation crash is under review in the AppStore and should be live shortly. Happy playing! I don't have experience with that but I'll try to add support for it.
  3. Hi, BrickController2 version 2.7 went out to the iOS AppStore but unfortunately contains a bug and crashes at some point, so I'm going to update it tomorrow. Sorry for the inconvenience it might cause. The Android version is still under review in the PlayStore but it doesn't seem to be affected.
  4. Hi, I'll try to release in the next couple of weeks. Recently I haven't had too much time to deal with BC2 unfortunately. The export/import feature is not ready to be released though :(
  5. Hi, not sure if it is the case (as I could not reproduce the issue) but please try reducing the max turn angle for the servo to like 80 degrees instead of the default 90. I'm curious if the servo still gets stuck that way.
  6. Hi, it depends on the iOS version which one will work: prior iOS version 13 only the MFi compatible controllers work (like my Mad Catz CTRLi controller). From iOS version 13 all MFi controllers are OK and also the Sony PS4 and XBox One controllers are supported. I'm not sure about the latest PS5 and XBox Series controllers though.
  7. Hi, I've heard about this issue but haven't experienced it myself. So in this sense it's a known problem. Once I can reproduce it I try to fix.
  8. Hi, I reverse engineered the BLE protocol for BuWizz and put it here: https://github.com/imurvai/brickcontroller2/blob/master/BuWizz_protocol.md
  9. Hi, I've put it on my TODO list :) Hmm, I'll look into what the issue might be. Thanks for reporting it.
  10. Hmm, to be honest I've never tried BC2 on Chromebook so I have no idea if it's compatible with that. Is that Intel based though? Yes, the main goal was to control Lego models using a physical controller. Hmm, basically it should not be sluggish, I don't know what the problem might be with your setup.
  11. Hi, yes it's possible. Assign the to motors to the same direction for the Y axis and the opposite direction for the X axis and the app will do the rest like this: The video was taken on my previous app, but the functionality is the same in BC2 too.
  12. This one (among others) is on my TODO list, however I haven't had too much time for BC2 recently. So currently multiple controllers can be used but BC2 doesn't differentiate them, meaning if two controllers send the same event then the app can't distinguish which one it was.
  13. Hi, unfortunately the app gets the controller events only when it's in the foreground, so when the screen is off or the app goes to background then it doesn't. Therefore BC2 disconnects from other devices too - like BuWizz - not to drain the battery.
  14. Hi, BrickController2 is open source and can be found here
  15. You need to pair the PS4 controller in the Adnroid settings not in BC2. Once they are paired then go to the Controller tester page in BrickController2 to see it is working (it should show the controller events in a list when moving the joys or pressing the buttons).
  16. Maybe the model goes out of the bluetooth range of your phone? Thanks ;)
  17. Ah, good to know such an issue exists. Please let us know about your findings.
  18. Hi, yes, as @kbalage mentioned the official latest version (2.6) doesn't support the duplo train yet as BC2 is not functioning 100% with that.
  19. Hi, check this: https://github.com/imurvai/brickcontroller2/blob/master/BuWizz_protocol.md It's not official though.
