This is really nice. Such an original concept too. Yeah, it's in this set: http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=7016-1

New Technic parts!
Sir Walter Maugham replied to Kierna's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
That Liftarm piece looks like it will be very useful. In fact, I'm already thinking of some uses for it! That second piece will be nice to have too. I'm 99.9% sure that the last piece is aftermarket/custom. -
Great King of Evil - Ganondorf
Sir Walter Maugham replied to TooMuchCaffeine's topic in LEGO Action Figures
Very nice MoC. I really got a kick out of this, I'm a big Zelda fan. It's amazing how recognizable his face is. Really great work. Also, I'm with ZORK on the sword, it looks just right. The only thing is, I think his head looks a bit big compared to his body. But that might just be the angle. -
Question about Glatorian socket durability:
Sir Walter Maugham replied to Sir Walter Maugham's topic in LEGO Action Figures
Thanks! I'm really looking forward to getting him. I love the way the top of his mask mimics his torso armor. (Or is that a coincidence? Either way) I'm trying to pick up some of the good Bionicle sets I missed out on from 2007-2009. I was too interested in Crownies back then. -

Ah, that's good to know. The one I got was Jaller. -

Question about Glatorian socket durability:
Sir Walter Maugham replied to Sir Walter Maugham's topic in LEGO Action Figures
Uh oh, I wouldn't have thought this problem went back all the way to 2007... I ordered a Mahri set off Amazon just yesterday. Thanks for the help guys. -
Question about Glatorian socket durability:
Sir Walter Maugham posted a topic in LEGO Action Figures
I never bought any of the canister size Glatorian sets, but I'm looking into them now. However, I have one concern: Back in 2009 I bought one of the small size sets, Metus, and every one of the sockets in his arms, and one in his foot, broke. Did the canister size (10$) sets have this problem too? Or was the small set I got just a dud? Thanks in advance. -
Ah, interesting. I had a feeling Lego wouldn't let such a successful line die this soon. I'm mostly ambivalent towards this line, but maybe we will get more eastern weapons/bodywear. The Kendo helmet was something I though we would never see. Does anyone know if there is a plan to extend the TV show?

Wow, I these are all great, but that butterfly... I haven't seen such creative piece usage in a long time. Fantastic job. I'd love to see you make a praying mantis.

If you have a 100$ to spend on Lego, get Medieval Market Village. It's widely considered to be one of, if not the best set ever made. (And I agree.) I'm considering getting a second one.

Favorite G1 Bionicle Set?
Sir Walter Maugham replied to Electricsteam's topic in LEGO Action Figures
I have a big soft spot for the Rahkshi. I feel that their build never really became or looked dated. Lerahk was my favorite Rahkshi. Though, Vorahk's staff piece is one of my favorite Bionicle pieces. Someday, I would love to make a dark green Rahkshi, all the pieces have been made in that color. And it looks like someone else had that idea: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=3520594 -
Ah, that brought back some memories. I had this set when I was quite young. Thanks for the review! I do remember wondering how they kept prisoners in that prison.

Wow, just... wow. I really like the... well, everything. I would list all the things I like, but it would take far too long. It suffices to say the whole thing is spectacular! Looking forward to seeing more creations from you!

They are all well designed, but I really like that bank. The security camera and ATM are wonderful details. And are those gutters on the back of the last two? If so that's such a good idea.

MOC: Bohrok martial arts master
Sir Walter Maugham replied to zero1312's topic in LEGO Action Figures
Wow, wonderful update of the Bohrok. They were among my favorite Bionicle creatures. My only problem with them was their lack of poseability. Your MoC fixes this brilliantly! -
Ha, cute. I didn't expect that.

End of the World: Meditating
Sir Walter Maugham replied to Kristel's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Wow, I love all the details. The stairs are very interesting, I don't think I've seen them build like that before. Looks sharp. I've always though Japanese architecture looks great in Lego form, and this is certainly no exception. How exactly is the roof built? The date at the bottom (which did confuse me at first ) is such a great addition. Great job!- 18 replies

You did a really nice job on the landscapes. Especially the swamp.

I gotta go with the Series 3 Elf. I really dislike fleshies. I guess that means I'm a racist when it comes to Lego.

Great MOC! I love the chandelier. The gear pieces on the pillars and the gold trophies are great touches too.
