  1. If this random "Turkish community" wants to sue because they think they look like Jabba the Hut, I say let them. Lego should pay them for giving everyone such a good chuckle.
  2. Yes. In that quote I was saying that most people here aren't against this idea because they are prudish, but because they feel that the addition of breasts on a Minifig is unnecessary and most likely get in the way of accessories. (As I do)
  3. Well, I did, and I don't. If you're referring to the people posting in this topic, most don't mind this idea from a sexual standpoint. "No mom wants to go buy their young child a LEGO set with girls who have boobs." is just a factually wrong statement. Just look at the Friends line.
  4. You're right, the Nougat color works well in this MOC. I like the interspersed "bricks" brick on the walls. I've seen it done before, but it always looks so good. This is no exception. The toad and frog looking at each other is a cute little detail too. Thanks for sharing!
  5. Interesting Golem. I like him quite a bit. But I really like the wall you built. The colors and the design are so whimsical, perfect for this fantasy setting. I would LOVE to see a whole structure built like that. Great work.
  6. I love this! You did a wonderful job making a 2D sprite 3D. Videogame related Lego creations are always my favorite. Great work!
  7. Do you really believe your two sisters share the exact same mindset of all other mothers who have ever bought a Lego set?
  8. As others have said, this new mold would be way too restrictive when it comes to armor and such. And it would make the old female torsos look very strange as well. But Lego's response is quite odd. They didn't need to give such a silly reason for axing this project. Cod pieces? What do you mean? If you're alluding to what I think you might be, there really is no comparison.
  9. Wow, this is beautiful! It's such a great concept, and you executed it perfectly. And as others said, the photography is wonderful.
  10. Thanks for the review! I like that new cape. Interesting shape. One thing I must comment one though, "1-2-CHI!" Is so cheesy that it hurts.
  11. Hmm... That kinda looks like it could be either one. But it looks a tad more dragon-like to me.
  12. I have heard of people occasionally discovering that a piece from a set may be missing, but how often are pieces that don't belong at all found in sets? Back in 2007 I bought a 7093 Skeleton Tower set, and found what I believe to be just the hips of this: http://www.brickset....ifigs/?m=ixs003 minifigure's pants. I was quite amused and surprised by this, I've never heard of this happening in all my years of lurking reading Lego forums.
  13. Sounds great! I'll be looking forward to it.
  14. Very nice MoC. I might add that recreating the ambiance of the 80's is a fantastic idea. I took a look though your other MoCs, you've done a great job with all of them. I especially like the " Forestmen's Mountain Stash". I have a soft spot for the old sliding walls and trap floors.
  15. I love updates like this. You did a wonderful job. The fact it can open is icing on the cake.
  16. It's the stuff of nightmares! The yellow minifigure is iconic. It's not going anywhere. Then maybe TLG should just go back to all yellow figs again?
  17. Wow! I haven't been so hopeful for a Cuusoo project since Zelda. You got my vote for sure.
  18. Same here! I just hope they don't ruin his last form like they did Oshawott's. (IMO anyway) I'm really looking forward to a whole new generation of Pokemon again. I was very surprised that the big announcement turned out to be the 6th gen. Especially since its barely been three years since B/W 1.
  19. Upon reading your topic title, I expected this guy: http://www.mariowiki.com/Banzai_Bill He looks very nice. I love the use of those canister parts. Great job!
  20. Crocs. Why? Because of those lovely dark red tattered capes of course!.
  21. I've thought of that too. I don't have enough to make a roof out of them though. They also make interesting stairs.
  22. Great review! Crikey! That arm really is awful. Really drags down the whole set. Heck, his left arm is almost as bad; too puny looking. I like the rock theme though. Knowing these new heads/masks can go with the Metru heads is great. Still waiting on a Hero Factory set to rival any of the Bionicle sets from 2003 on.
  23. I plan to continue tracking down Bionicle sets I missed out on through Amazon. Its hard waiting for decent prices to be listed. The ones on the top of my list are: Brutaka Jaller Mahri Matau Hordika Vezok Strakk I'm very excited about Castle 2013 as well. Can't wait to see how these sets turn out. And I'm of course looking forward to getting some of the minifigures from series 9 and 10.
  24. Teaching history though a theme is completely different than pushing a certain worldview (philosophy of how to live your life) or political message.
  25. I share the concern that this concept is too political as well. I don't think TLG is in the business of introducing any sort of world views or messages to their target audience: children. I understand that the concept of "destroying the earth" is something that everyone can agree is wrong, but the whole "good guys use renewable energy, bad guys use fossil fuel" is somewhat of a sensitive issue. But like others have said, these designs are great. The Juggernaut looks amazing.
