Oh wow! I'm really amazed and I can just hear Manuel come running from the kitchen: "Fire, fire, FIRE!" And the mooses head, the firealarm and the stairs. So many details. Well done, you did a very good job.

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Chocolatecake replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
Totally agree. LEGO has become far better to stopping leaks, and controlling when they wants to announce new sets. I fully understand them, why give those knock-off brands the possibility to release products at the same time or worse before LEGO. So patience must be the key word, even though it's hard. -
showing that the barmaid torso are bad and the dirdltorso is great gave me that trampolinefeeling. It's the same with the male torsos, they have made torsos that shows a man with a good belly and others torsos looks very athletic. It gives some variation to the minifigs.

Sorry, women do have breasts, some have small breasts and some of us have very (naturallly) large breasts. With large I mean: cleavage in almost everything that is cut lover than a turtleneck. So that barmaid torso do represent some women, and I can't stop thinking, has bodyshaming hit another low? Since female torsos are a bad thing, and female torsos with clearly large breast are very bad - selling sex bad? Sorry, but I just felt that someone used my feet as a trampoline. There are a difference between men and woman, why not show it in toys too? instead of that unisex crap.

Oh my! That is amazing. I have to share this video on Facebook. -
Well.. Is the waistline worse than back in the days were the female torsoes from Paradisa - no waistline, but necklaces, pink tops, strapless top? These must be just as hard to use for a male figure, that isn't a transsuxual. Unisex in clothing means = fittet for men and it's the same for minifigtorsoes.

LEGO Ideas: 21110 Research Institute/Female Minifigure Set
Chocolatecake replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Town
I can't see how this is feminism and I'm not a feminist myself, but I do have an masters degree in chemistry and the year I began at the university at natural science, there were men to women ratio were 20/80 and it's was back then in 2003. At my last job the majority of my colleagues was women with a background in natural science or engineers. And LEGO is getting better to include more women in their sets, but the male minifigs are still the majority in town, just like among AFOL's.. LEGO are for both boys and girls and some girls like playing with dolls and LEGO. -
Go to Toys R Us or BR there you'll find Kre-o. And The Barbie Megabloks and Hello Kitty, I have seen them on my way, maybe in the big supermarkets or the bookstore. The tiny japanese constructionsets are found in some of the bookstores in here Odense.

The other day on an Instagrampicture the owner of the profile wrote on a picture with Megablocks Hello Kitty: LEGO cats. So yes, LEGO means also plasticbricks of other brands, even written with capital letters.

What an amazing event, so a huge thank you to CopMike,Bonaparte and the guys at LEGO. The last 700 meters from the bus to my frontdoor were the worst part of my trip home - it started raining (again). It was so nice to meet all of you, so this won't be my last event.

You have done it again Kristel, well done. I like how you have used the clear bricks, it looks like something I have seen in real life - actually in friends bathroom.

Oh my LEGO... 2014 is going to be an expensive year. It fits in with the Winter Village set from 2013 and those plans I have with it.

Thanks. I was standing in the supermarked while writing the post and I couldn't remember the name, because there wasn't any name on the polybag.
