  1. I couldn't see anywhere it should be target exclusive - maybe they sell it at S@H and the LEGO stores too.
  2. A woodcraf stall and you are right now winter marked without that stall.
  3. Too hard to build? I agree with TheLegoDr here, most of the things are easy builds, actually I find the LEGO city adventcalender much easier to build so far than the Friends adventcalender.
  4. Even though these hobbies are found among adults, people still raise their eyebrows.
  5. Some people collect stamps, other work on classic cars, some collect cookbooks, some spend their money on music and concerts. There are plenty examples you can use in your defense. I have only experienced one negative comment from a non-AFOL, the rest of the comments I have got has been positive, some have send me link about LEGO on Facebook.
  6. What about the minifig heads with facial hair? But there is a lot of minifig heads that doen't have either lipstick or facial hair, which can be used for both male and female.
  7. I'm planning to put it on a green or grey baseplate, when the winter is over (here in the dark north) then it can work fine in the spring, summer and fall.
  8. A lot of the maletorsoes can be used with female faces and/or hair of choice and the other way around you can make a man in a dress, a beaded lady - only the imagination is your limit, when it concerns the classic minifig. Their head are not attached to the body like they are on dolls. Okay, there is a tiny problem when it comes to the Friendsfigures, only three male figures (a dad, a boy from school and a boy on a boat). I really don't like this kind of milimeterdemocracy so many strong women outthere is demanding, well it feels like they are demanding it.
  9. Congratulation to the first six winners.
  10. I prefer a yearly payment, like almost everythingelse I'm a member of.
  11. I wouldn't mind pay for a membership, I'll already pay for a membership at the danish LUG, where only a very small part of our forum is open for the public, the rest are for members only. But $5 per month is a bit too much, it would make it more expensive than my membership of the danish LUG. I would be more willing to pay if the cost is $2-3 per month.
  12. Thank you for another great review Whitefang. It's a pleasant surprise that larry the barista isn't a 2 per box, but 4.And of couse there is only two of each female minifig except wild west wyldstyle, don't they like women in the minfiguniverse?Well I will now look forward to January when my box arrives.
  13. Wow, that's a pretty good statistics for winning something, so I'll cross my fingers.
  14. Oh...! Thank you for that information, then I might need to save some money for at trip to Copenhagen And I do agree, those sets - whoa! I think it's going to be a pretty expensive year.
  15. Impressive buildings, they really looks like the real buildings, even those details you don't see from the street. May I ask how many bricks you have used?
  16. From your vote, nobody can read that you think it looks like someting from friends, so it isn't obvious what you think. I reacted on your North Korean comment - being involved in student/youth politics I have heard that comment and it brothers (communism, capitalism etc.) a lot.
  17. It's easy to vote without any comments no matter if one likes something or not, but it's when words follow we learn why other like or dislike something.
  18. I really like them all, but I am a catlady so I choose Mrs. Scratchen-Post.
  19. Sorry to say, but it is a Scandinavian tradition. Back in the days, it was a game and it might have roots back to the vikings. So if you find it in southern america, it could be because of scandinavian immigrants.
  20. Nice one. But it would be a well fed seagull. Thank you for the review. There seems to be a lot of details, both the visible kind and details in the building process
  21. Here is my entry, a tiny brickbuild heart.
  22. http://service.lego.com/da-dk/buildinginstructions/79008?ignorereferer=true And then write: 10199 Winter Toy Shop Creator Expert Then you should get the instructions for the set where you'll find the tree.
  23. I must say, you are lucky that you have a selection. Here in DK I have only seen the lone ranger poly bag (came with a disneymagazine) an fireboat (also with a magazine) five different polybags(fire car, Gandalf, friends desk, SW minibuild and a creator build), that has been sold in a discount supermarked three times!! this year. No Monster Fighters, no Tonto (Lone Ranger), no other friends polybags. eBay or Bricklink should be your friend if you really want some more polybags.
  24. Hahaha... I sounds like an IKEA product, more than it sound like a LEGO product.
  25. Thank you forsharing, now it is a must have. Might buy more than one of this set.
