    Paul von Brickenstein finally joins Avalonia He is living in harmony with the elves on an island called "Lonaengwîn" (Isle of wine). The whole island is controlled by elves, except of an small harbor village, named Brickenstein.

    Thanks for your comments ! I did not add to much elevation differences because I wanted it to look like a really flat plain. But you are right that it could have be done better. Actually the build was a little bit rushed :)

    This is my 2nd entry to the Colossal Castle Contest - Category: Medieval Husbandry The Eleves are producing their own wine in the hills of Valinor. After squeezing out the grapes, the wine is stored directly within the hill. The wine cellar is accessabble by lifting up a part of the hill. Thanks for you comments ! I recommend you to also participate in the contest. Greets !

    Thanks for your support ! Hopefully we can get 300 in the first weeks, so that there is a possibility to get on front page. The set is really sturdy except of two points. And I don't understand how a higher price would make this a better set ? All Ideas sets so far have been much cheaper... but thanks anyway for critisim and support !

    After your enormous feedback and a lot of people asking me for putting my set on Ideas, I have finally done it. Please support it on Ideas, thanks for you help. I still hope, that we got a chance to get some Gondor soldiers and rangers ! Together we can make it happen

    This is my 1st entry to the CCCXII - Category: The Best Intentions A Tatar in the wide plains of north-west asia has some problems with a tent, caused by speeding on horse. Thanks for commenting, I think there are coming a lot of castle builds until the end of the year.

    Thanks for your comments ! I love it, when people just write negative comments, without reading the description or without any knwoledge about the topic. In the Thrawn Trilogy the Stormtroopers are clones... It is a simple LED chain for christmas decoration. In the middle of the 4x4 round plates connecting the cylinders is a small hole, the LEDs fit just right in there.

    Sweet vignette here, I always love builds about that barrel scene. The water effect is new to me and surprisingly fresh ! Good luck !

    Huge thanks for your feedback ! I had great fun building for this contest, especially vecause of yll your comments ! Maybe you are right, thanks for your kind words, hopefully enough people think like you, when it comes to the voting Thanks, I got inspiration by the tree down here. It was surpisingly effective, even if I did not angle anything. Maybe I gone try this with angles sometimes. Apple Tree von retinence auf Flickr Most hilarious comment ever. A tree out of real bricks for sure could never stand that weight... :laugh: Maybe I should interpret the comment above this way...

    That Vignette is much better than you pretend. Especially the mixed scale make this creation stand out of the huge number of entries. And you put some cool Details an building techniques in here to create a tough entry. In my opinion the SNOT-landscape in the ground was not the best idea because it is too flat and shiny for representing a natual Environment. Still a really strong entry with good chances, good luck ! Btw that Boba helmet is looking so cool, ENVY !!!

    SoNE is not really what I meant with contests. It is a roleplay game with some competition. I meant contest with multiple rounds or a huge amount of builds you have to do. I want to build more what I think about and not what some contest-makers think I should build. But SoNE is realxing, even if I am not rushing to enter the episodes anymore...

I am glad you like my creation, even if I lost this round of our contest against Markus. @Beaver: This build Looks a bit rushed because it was a contest as you know. Sometimes there is just not the time to make something perfect. But I am going to stop competing in contests soon, to avoid rushed builds. Special thanks for Blogging ! Your article about our builds is great.

    Thanks for your Feedback ! I first thought about putting some guards in that buil, but it possibly could have detroyed the peaceful mood I wanted to create. Some People on flickr were not happy abut my tree design and there are not that many comments in here, so maybe I have to build another entry for that category. Could be rushed, because I got no time this Weekend

    Thanks for your great feedback ! Still thinking about making another set showing the siege of Minas Tirith. Putting this on ideas may be only an opion, if I get enough votes in that category But I am really thinking about putting it up there, because of that tremendous Feedback

    The sections of this set look good. The walls of Minas Tirith are shining white with some Details and look plausible, as does the siege Tower. But there is something wrong in here: Faramir was areay dead when the siege of Minas Tirith begun

    You are showing us something really different, with such a sad mood. As you know I wanted to build that Scene also, so good choice My favorite part are the figs in here, their posing and their faces help a lot to create the mood you wanted to archieve. Good luck !
