  1. Thanks for your comments ! I have added the story parts a couple of days ago, so enjoy
  2. The story about Markus Montari and Paul Brickstorm at SoNE continues. The story so far: Join the Empire - Markus1984 Recruitment - Disco86 Swearing In - Markus1984 Foreign System - Disco86 Last Firing Exercise - Markus1984 Invasion Preparation - Disco86 The Invasion Begins - Markus1984 Endor Construction Site - Disco86 Mission Endor complete - Markus1984 Back from Endor - Markus1984 Searching in the Outer Rim - Prehistory - Markus1984 Searching in the Outer Rim - Disco86 Cantina Visit - Disco86 Memories - Markus1984 The day after - Markus1984 Briefing - Markus1984 Operation Zero-G - Disco86 The Zero-G Transporter has left the hangar and was heading towards the rebel space station. The transporter moved slow and his engines were the only noise interrupting the silence. Over there is the station. I was just wondering if this transporter got stealth or cloaking technology ? Don't know anything about it. But I am sure it is equipped with something like that, how could we reach the station unseen without it ? I don't want to be grilled by the station's defence, even before getting a foot on it. Booting the jetpack and ... IGNITON ! The defence towers seem to have a malfunction... or nobody is operating them. Easy work for us... well, maybe this was a little bit too easy. Let's see what awaits us inside. Security over... ride ... successful, open sesame ! I am missing a rebel welcome shootout. Oxygen and gravitation check ? Both systems working, we can get rid of those bulky suits. Ok, I am contacting the team over the comlink. They need to come over here and get us some blasters from the transporter. Come on, everybody grab a gun and then MOVE !!! I thought this was a secret mission, maybe we should lower our voices. Even if I can't see any life in here, I would prefer not to get the attention of whatever is in here...
  3. Thanks for all your kind comments ! Great to build SoNE again. Next part is coming soon... Actually yes, they are stored stacked to avoid scratches and when I put them into a MOC, I am using glass cleaner to get it shiny and free of dust and fingerprints. Well, mine is inspired by yours, especially the front as you can see. So put yours on the battlefield ;)
  4. Great to see us both back on a mission ! The techniques of the wall and of course the chairs are pretty cool. And a exciting intro you wrote, perfect match for me to continue.
  5. Really different take on the category, and refreshingly thought. My favorite part is the holo city, I always enjoy a cool holo !
  6. Cool story, looking forward how you get out of there :) And some neat building techniques with snot floor and wall Greebles, well done !
  7. Great build ! My favorite parts are the rebel vehicle and the background building in the second build, May have to copy it if these planes are affordable. Also cool to see a collaborative that matches so well.
  8. So sleek, so elegant, I just love that style overall ! Easy to see why you are on top of the leader board !
  9. My favorite part is the cupboard, especially with these colors it looks excellent ! And a nice scene to put he new cards to use.
  10. Creative idea, with combining the builds together. Had something similar in mind, but was to busy building other stuff... And you executed the idea really good. Especially your photography is outstanding !
  11. Another great entry. The most I like about the first scene is that you managed to capture the scene in complete by building walls around and the perfect photo shoot. Great to see that a vignette could fill the whole screen. The other scene has of course a well built pod racer and it looks technically complicated to archive these shapes.
  12. The wall pattern in the first and the holo in the second build are awesome, both are great eye catchers !
  13. Everything is superb about that entry. Building the vignettes that high is not my style, but seems to be modern interpretation. And so you packed a lot of details on it. Scenes with snow and Hoth Rebels are always a good decision. The past scene takes the cake with the classical color scheme and a cool designed speeder.
  14. The vignette is really excellent, built like a pro. The greater scene has a nice ramshackle look to it, even if the ground could use some more details.
  15. Cool entry with the lights and especially that Mandalorian mask at the wall ! My only criticism is about the color. Black is always hard to photograph, so I try to avoid using too much black.
  16. We are back in the game, I also added a freebuild. We are on a special mission now. Freebuild - Operation Zero-G More to come EDIT: Next part is up Freebuild - Station Docking
  17. The story about Markus Montari and Paul Brickstorm at SoNE continues. The story so far: Join the Empire - Markus1984 Recruitment - Disco86 Swearing In - Markus1984 Foreign System - Disco86 Last Firing Exercise - Markus1984 Invasion Preparation - Disco86 The Invasion Begins - Markus1984 Endor Construction Site - Disco86 Mission Endor complete - Markus1984 Back from Endor - Markus1984 Searching in the Outer Rim - Prehistory - Markus1984 Searching in the Outer Rim - Disco86 Cantina Visit - Disco86 Memories - Markus1984 The day after - Markus1984 Briefing - Markus1984 With a lot of unanswered questions after the briefing, our protagonists are in the hangar again. The prototype Zero-G Troop Transporter, based on the RTT, awaits them and is ready to take off. Come on Markus, we are late again ! Keep calm, I am coming. Just had to pack something. These must be the Rebels they captured from a drifting rescue capsule. I don't know if they are from the station we are heading to, but they seem to be more than just confused... The visions... the pain... the suffering ! GRRRAAAHZZZCH ! These are really weird, we can only trust that there is no coherence with the station we are going to infiltrate... Hopefully not, these Rebels scare me. Come on ! There is nothing to see, get your arses on the transporter ! SIR - YES - SIR Ready for take off Copy that Good luck, you poor souls... The Zero-G Transporter left the ship and was heading to the mysterious Rebel station.
  18. I have always been a fan of your CCC creations and this one is no exception ! Also built a vineyard so I totally agree to your choice for this category. And the execution is awesome. The wine itself is detailed and realisitcly shaped. But I especially like that house, because it gives the mediterranean vibe of southern france or western italy. Good luck !
  19. Really creative take to show the both scenes. Also fascinating that the pieces in both different colors match so well. Good luck for the MELO !
  20. Wow, I never would have thought of such an overwhelming feedback ! Great to see that you like my personal highlight of last year like I do I am definitly going to build some more asian builds this year Well that is hard to explain, even if it is really simple techniques. Most of it is just made with angled plates that are connected on the inside with hinge plates or the clip/handle-combination to get angles. Averything slightly rounded is made with rigid hoses. Special thanks for that, and I totally agree, for me it is the best I have done so far
  21. Great thanks to all of you for commenting some nice words. Looking forward to this years LotR builds Yes he is, forgot to place him in even more MOCs this year... but the middle earth scene made his appearance inevitable You are right, both have to be larger. But the size limit in the contest was 48x48, even the shrinked versions are too big for the plate
  22. Thanks for all your kind comments ! Building that style was a great joy for me, I recommend to give it a try Yes, thought it would be a funny easteregg, but what made it even better was the comment with his quote:
  23. Thanks ! Unfortunately I don't know it, I bought it long time ago on bricklink and I dont know how it is called and which set it was in.
  24. What a charming comment Tent building is great fun, I recommend that, also markus1984 archieved a great structure with sails in his entry.
  25. Really sensational that this little vignette gained so much postive feedback, thanks for all this ! And special thanks to everyone who voted in the contest and made my victory possible
