You are wrong on this one! Don´t forget we have the metal U-joints from CaDA which would perfectly fit in here, doubled on each side! The so-called heavy-duty CV joints shown above will wear out after 10 minutes. I would love to see something like that! You could try to use the 1) double-trouble scheme with the orange gear selectors. 2) white 3L connectors with ridges to hold the driving ring in place. 3) more rubber bands to hold the shifting shaft. 4) the old changeover catch, reinforced by a shock absorber. 5) just the servo, reduced by 1/3. Side note: I´m missing both the great contributions from old veterans and experts like @Sariel, as well as some heated discussions around subjects (not ad hominem) from time to time. PLEASE move on with some ideas of that sort, I would love to see all kind of motorized gearboxes - you would definitely put a milestone in any direction if being successfull!

For clarification: I get a bunch of free stuff from CaDA and sent some of it privately to my friend Bas (@astyanax) and arranged another free set for him, simply to find out if such a crazy experiment would be successfull, having not much time myself. That doesn´t mean CaDA is a charity organisation. @astyanax: Thanks for sharing your fun with us ! That´s crazy! I´ve had my doubts if that is possible at all, keeping the gearbox working. I don´t dare to ask for a video .. Maybe you should get rid of some gears in between there or even the entire gearbox! I have another idea to bypass the issue with the (non-proportional) controllers: use some white clutch gears, arranged in multiple quantities on one axle and there you have a smoother acceleration sparing the gears inside the buggy motors. One should realize they are much stronger than Lego buggy motors, though using the same kind of plastic gears inside (I don´t know, but suspect it).

@langko Yes, it´s a nice fact on the one hand and not so nice if you have tight wheel houses designed for the Lego standard. Surprisingly, both wheel types not only look good but are working pretty well on the Italian Supercar. I´m wondering what specific problem are you encountering right now? Be aware - you can create the rim of your dreams and cast it into reality, if you are designing a new supercar for CaDA! Tell us more, if not a secret of course.

So why did you put the question if everything was cleared? I will answer you in public - I don´t feel offended personally, I´m simply embarrassed about your ignorance and will explain it to you and everybody else who need to be informed: there is a brutal stupid WAR going on in Ukraine! Russia, the agressor country and Belarus, the assistant country (where Aleh is living - look up his avatar!) are under severe financial sanctions imposed onto these countries. Aleh has nothing to do with it, but he and his family are suffering severely under the sanctions. That makes it almost impossible to participate in international payment schemes like PayPal. Even worse - life was not easy before the war and now it´s becoming a lot more difficult. You are living in beautiful Switzerland where everything is fantastic and where btw. many of the sanctionned oligarchs are hiding a lot of their corrupt money. In the meanwhile bombs and rockets are killing so many innocent children in Ukrainian cities like Mariupol! Yes, it "bothers" me the most that so many people in the West don´t care about it when they wake up in the beautiful morning! That is what makes me losing my peace and comfort, my friend. And I don´t care at all if you now keep feeling offended or bothered or whatever. @moderators: I know what I´m risking here, but I´m ready to sacrifice my reputation and my membership on this forum in order to make some people start to think a little bit. -

For you "it´s just monday" and "all good, no?" How can people be so incredibly ignorant ... Sorry guys, but I´m about to explode, loosing my control! -
These wheels are so super ugly and out of place themselves, so for me it doesn´t make any difference. Are you kidding me ? But of course that would be consistent with the TLG desastrous policy, remember the Osprey and the postponement of the UCS supercar. For me that looks like bad karma series or subversion within the HQ. It´s funny entertainment anyway.

Edit: to avoid any discussions and misunderstandings, please use PM. -
CaDA / Doubleeagle is not so much about increasing sales in the first place. It happens automatically while they are growing and expanding quickly. In the meanwhile trying to diversify themselves from the market leader and others. There is so much market potential, at the moment they can barely keep up customer´s demands worldwide. E.g. they don´t even touch seriously the important US market. New parts and molds are being created consistently, continuously. Plus it´s very nice that we designers have influence on that and it´s relatively easy to convince their R&D department to develop new molds and parts if neccessary. I personally am very happy that we will have new major improved RC components coming soon – that´s obviosly the priority of the whole concept within their traditional product range. Other innovations and ideas are being considered too, included many mentioned in this thread. Just give it a couple years more in time, I guess some solutions and enhancements will pave their way naturally, like parts "falling in place" in your MOC after tinkering a lot about a specific solution.

@Sariel Thank you for doing this! Your toolbox is very helpful for builders on all levels. I believe 99% of the community welcomes your ideas and contributions to the Technic theme. You are a mature man overcoming "criticism" of worst kind, not a robot, but a guy with Polish mentality having a soul and feelings - I can perfectly live with that .

This is not "anti Lego", my friend! To me that sounds like Lego fanboy rhetorics which are kinda pointless here, maybe indeed a typical german POV. People feeling strong, riding clickbaiting "opinions" of some so called influencers. There is a friendly agreement among the users on this forum - just read the opening post. We are not talking about MK or Bluebrixx here who are exploiting cheap MOC designs, which is their business strategy - please go ahead, be very critical and tear them apart, they deserve it a lot more IMO.

The usual "great job, period" would not do justice to this tremendous MOC. Your building style is let´s say very individual and unique but overall consistent. Filling all the gaps by system bricks is a risky balancing act, but it doesn´t disturb the look here. One can really feel all the passion and dedication invested. Although the car itself is not my cup of tea, huge respect to the faithfull interpretation with such high attention to details! Most of all I love these nice sporty seats. Anyway I´d like to see the use of more Technic panels instead of beam stacking. The rollcage looks kind of overdone to me, it could look more elegant. But all that said, it´s still a design on highest level, created to your own preferences which I appreciate very much ! -
You definitely did a great job on this, although I can´t judge the creation´s quality from the trucks sphere too well. You definitely could improve your presentation, e.g. sharper pictures, more neutral background, more written info about the build or WIP. And a video would be great naturally! Of course we all know politics are not welcome in the forum for a very good reason. Thank God we have a friendly oasis here and the matter of the subjects we usually talk about is the most innocent and neutral you can immagine for grown men and soldiers. You have my full understanding for the situation in your country. Coming from the former SU myself the events really bother me personally and honestly - they hinder my creativity very much too! If you don´t mind, please share something about your personal situation with me in a PM (I speak Russian too). Stay safe, my friend!

We need to keep in mind it´s a great, but rather small company compared to TLG. They are developing a lot of new ideas and parts, but just can´t keep up to fulfill all demands. Means they have to put priorities, considering a new mold costs 10K+, it´s a question of money as well of course. Luckily there are a lot of crumbs falling off the rich table..

Just to complete the history of this MOC: the brand who got my exclusive signature for this design is named Carolyn´s. The production series are rather small as far as I´m concerned, along with a version in black and one in red (which looks awful). Unfortunately I haven´t got any sample from them, so I was tempted to buy one in yellow, but resisted, having gathered enough parts already.
