Totally off topic and a little self-indulgent, but I don't recall if I ever pointed out this Easter Egg (if I already have, please forgive me). (I'm re-reading a lot of my quests as I finally start to draft my "finale" quest). This is for people of Quest 102. There were two hints that Midge and Malty were the same person. In the opening shot of the foes who kidnapped Aventine, you see a Mopag wearing a mix of their clothing and capes and what not. But, a less obvious one was in Quest 107. In the very opening when Ella is having her vision, on the fourth image down with The Master of Regret and Marcellus, in the background you see Malty and Midge talking together. That's because they're in fact the same person.

If he had harmed Samuel, Avery, or the heroes, I would make you pay in blood. But he did not. And it is equally my fault for letting him come along." She offers her hand. I thought you thought my NPCs were best dead anyway? How long has it been since I've hosted Atramor? This would be a good quest to host old Wren Questers. I'll try to reel you folks in with old NPCs when the quest gets closer, but McColt, Frog Paladins, all of the Dastan crew, Court of Demons, etc.

OoC: It feels almost silly to run this round. But maybe Pretzel will dig up more gold. Round Ten Judgement of Ennoc Nerwen sings Dirge of the Phoenix (-5 ether) Abel v. Yu Shu - Failure Yu Shu v. Simon - Special Damage (Pretzel, Samuel, Kiray KO'd, Deborah and Grimwald Doomed [How the hell does Dirge of the Phoenix work in this case? It would revive them instantly with one health, right? So does it cost 5 ether earlier, and then 15 additional ether now? You don't even have the ether for thatβ¦]) Grimwald v. Simon - Meditate Deborah v. Simon - Shield Marcellus v. Phil was a brave warrior. And I'm building sets with him once again! I am excited to take a month long break after 127, but after that we're hopping back to the world-trotting final Guffington Quest. Hope to see some familiar faces, because I think we're revisiting at least half of my NPCs.

Love nearly everything about this. The landscape is nice and rough and flows nicely, and then the platform is nice and sleek. Love the use of the cockpit - looks like a great little base. Awesome economic use of space in the little base as well.

Agreed. Mantis has really shown some wonderful work this week as far as cohesion in both builds and story go, and it has proven to make for more interesting alien landscapes. Very cool work - the landscape is lovely and the lab looks highly functional. The foliage looks like a total mess, but in a good way in my opinion, like it's heavily overgrown and brambly. The rocks around the cave seem a little too "shaped" to me in comparison to the rest of the build, wish the rest of the rocks rolled into it more fluidly, but other than that superb work.

Love the lived in feel of the Octan base, and as Dr. Long (what I guess everyone is calling him now-a-days) said, those trees are lovely - not too strange, but still certainly not from Terra. I really wanted to do something with cloth, but it looks like you beat me to it and did a splendid job of it too!

The above ground work is nice enough, though it doesn't feel particularly alien to me⦠but of course the rest of the build is simply outstanding - the below water section has lovely colors and a distinct feel, and the pink water is eye catching, beautiful, dangerous and exotic - exactly what you'd want from Sci-Fi.
