  1. Thanks This was my 1st attempt at "freestyling" a tree, I was aiming for a Bonsai-esuqe feel, I think I kinda sorta hit it but my trunk may be a bit thick
  2. It's been a while since I've posted anything new up so I thought I'd snap a few pics of a small moc I did up for Valentines a few weeks ago as it was the last thing I put together (been spending too much time sorting and not enough building).
  3. You have yourself an amazing collection (also checked out your flickr). Definitely a lot of inspiration here, I think the 1st thing I may emulate is The Stig I have to focus more in the evenings and get designing again, get to honing my skills a little more rather than the giant sorting mission I've given myself
  4. Vultures have great part usage, love them, very recognizable. I can't wait to see what you will be adding to your modularized haunted forest.
  5. I can only see the top blue version unfortunately. I would think the yellow would look pretty spiffy and as mentioned above maybe a black. I tried loading up mocpages but its being cranky right now and times out, at least i can see the rest of the views on Cuusoo . The interior looks pretty sharp, is there easy access into the space to allow for seeing the details and placing mini fig(s) or is the exposed side just hidden bricks in LDD to allow us to see what you've accomplished inside (which looks great by the way)? I would definitely be interested in a future sub kit (have the old Technic 8250 pneumatic kit as well as Penguin's 7885 sub) and look forward to following your progress with Cuusoo.
  6. Now is is the kind of town I'd like to put together. I like progress being backstoried as well, nicely done. As as aside, is that clock radio in the last image a custom decal?
  7. brings back memories, my wife learned to drive in her dad's '63 impala.
  8. For the most part I'm liking what I see here Highlights (for either the fig or accessories): Trendsetter, sailor, gramps, libraian, medusa and bee costume Mehs: Gold chase figure, parachuter, paintballer, baseball player. Unless they come up with a different packaging method, items like Medusa, Gold Chase and sad clown will be easy pickoffs for the pack squeezers - I think I'm just going to start investing in complete sealed boxes and sell spares I have no need of.
  9. I'll start off by stating I have no idea if I have this in the right forum since the topic covers such a broad spectrum of kits. I'm assuming a mod will slap my wrist and shuffle this off to the appropriate category if I'm mistaken in my posting here I received an email today indicating a 20% off sale at Chapters.ca (canadian) on all city, star wars, chima and ninjago lego. Normally I don't get overly excited over random lego sales BUT lumped into this is the collectible minifig series 7, 8 and 9 all in stock and 20% off. I only received the email today (last day of Feb) and it states "all month long" so I hope they mean March and not just today as the rest of THIS particular month is done in about 6 hrs on the West Coast. Needless to say I'm now expecting some minifig mystery packs in the post.
  10. They are still getting delivered into Canada, I just got mine today
  11. this is fantastic. The interior and exterior are both fantastic. The addition of elevation really makes this an inspiration model for me as the WV theme is a household favorite here.
  12. This is a great rendition, looks much more accurate. You've got yourself a fantastic collection here, great work all around.

  20. I think the only way to consolidate your posts would be to copy/paste all the content from each into a single newly created post. I could be wrong though, your best avenue would be to ask the admin that made the request as (s)he may have a better suggestion. i like this rendition. I may put this one together as my wife is about to build 5770 for her new layout - I'm tempted to create a mini version of what ever she comes up with for her spring/summer layout. I've been following all your posts and your ability to create micro versions of kits is impressive, keep up the good work
  21. wow you packed a lot of nice detail into a 4W, the crane and associated stabilizers are a great touch
  22. Thanks for the positive comments folks. I may end up swapping out the small and large panels for proper bricked walls. this will allow for more colour choices and the ability to incorporate designs. I'm not overly happy with the limited colour selections offered via 60581 and 87544 as only 3 colours coexist between the two parts.
  23. Those few little changes make a huge difference. Now I want one! May attempt my own once I get my window count up.
  24. I cant help but to back to flickr repeatedly to admire what you've done here The store would also make for a nice country house, love both the interior and exterior treatments. The carriage and fountain are also worth mentioning here, so consider them admired as well.
  25. Here is my latest 6 wide. This time it's a delivery truck - i was looking for something to build for my wife's latest town setting and came up with this. This will be one I brick for sure as I have little (read none at all) in commercial vehicles in this scale. I just have to decide what I want to do colour wise, I'm limited in the side panel colour choices as well as the rear hinge/door assembly. All images link back to larger versions on my flickr feed. From the side: Some random but valid colour mixes: and lastly a POV Ray rendering of the front and back An LDD download can be found here on my MOCPages account
