  3. Burnaby, bc, canada, thanks :)
  4. Nicely done, at this scale I think there is ample ariculation, anything else would throw the limbs into an out of scale appearance I think. Nice part usage when it comes to the ankle connection
  5. Very nice and keeps very well with the original space theme - it seems odd seeing fleshies under the helmet ... almost the same as seeing a zombie head under the helmet, just not right :P Kidding of course, well done!
  6. EROL : 2 Zed_43 : 2 rriggs : 1 Nice entries across the board. I wish I had 10 points to award!
  7. It could be argued that the tribal series (including tomahawk warrior) are north american rather than a single country and I think Santa (Sinterklaas) could be attributed to the Netherlands and "Name Day" (also wore red, just not the traditional red suit you see him in now, which would be coke based as mentioned above). A red and white cheeleader can only be from Canada though! OK maybe not but we need some Canadian representation here :P
  8. wow, just ..... wow steampunk doesn't usually catch my attention a great deal, but this rocks. Great attention to the littlest of details, and against my better judgement ... I want to know whats hiding in the back!
  9. Not only have you done a great job on the houses themselves but the landscaping is nice and lush without feeling over done (which is easy to do). The greenery you have carried on into the houses via plants and flowers is also a nice touch. The rooms are well thought out and decorated nicely. Inspirational through and through, well done I do agree with Paostmo in regards to the red roof, It could use something to break up the continuous red you have going on on the upper roof. When looking at the photos that show both houses together, the red draws my eye in every time making it feel like the focal point. The more I see of these Haunted House based mocs/mods the more I want to order one up, despite it being too big in scale for my current project.
  10. Great attention to detail here, the pumps, the compressor, the car wash .... heck even the 100's being passed over the counter are pretty accurate based on our current gas prices! decent set of cars as well and I absolutely love the bike
  11. +1 for VBBN in a completed minifig sale and even included a bonus fig
  12. I'll never again be able to look a goat in the eye. Nice mix of creepy and fabu, and especially like the furniture you put together here as well as the naked tree
  13. Ruh roh Raggy! This is a based on the Scooby-Doo episode "A clue for Scooby-Doo" in which the gang runs into the ghost of the deep sea diver Captain Cutler. This is the 1st run in Scooby and Shaggy have with the ghost. The alternate versions showing the missing minifig are over on flickr
  14. This is great, nice job! It brought a smile into my morning. The rainbow is a nice touch as is the pot in the attic. The case and pillow I've never seen in the past, love discovering new and different pieces.
  15. well done. the suicide rear and front bumper are definitely highlights
  16. I love this, takes me way back. I seeing just Hobbes' tail sticking straight out of the sled in fright brings a smile to my face. The crashed spaceship looks great as does the planet surface. Calvin and Hobbes are also very recognizable and posed perfectly for the scene.
  17. I'm a total fan of the complete setup, working on a simpler waterfront scene with my wife and this has given me some definite ideas mostly to do with water (as we discussed in flickr). So far the buildings in mine are either outright kits from lego or modded.
  18. The Costume Shop. As it always seems to be during this time of year, the Easter Bunny costume is always on back order. Images that include the sold out costume as well as larger versions of these images can be found on flickr
  19. Ran into this today, not sure if has been mentioned elsewhere but I figured I'd add it into the mix. Purely a colouration issue, tried to do the eyes in black as you can see here (windows 7 install of 4.3.6)
  20. Welcome aboard from the left coast.
  21. We're going to need a bigger boat .......... We had some fun coming up with this one (myself and son), I see I'm not the 1st with this idea but here it is anyways .... flickr is offering up some views as to how this moc would look with the missing fig.
  22. Close but I meant using the group option in LDD (ctrl-g in a windows OS). Perhaps this will help demonstrate. I took your newest version and created groups out of each set of elements. So there is a group for the shield, weapon, fighter and mecha that can be selectively isolated in the groups tab. Here is my edit of your file to demonstrate what I'm describing, this is my 1st time sharing something with google drive so let me know if its a fail.
  23. Looks great, I especially like the detachable ship. If I could make an LDD suggestion though, it would be easier to see this feature if the chassis and the ship were grouped separately. I don't think weight would be too much of an issue with this mech, my son has a good variety of bionicles and the joints I think would be more than up to the task here, but someone with more mecha experience may have a differing opinion, as I've not yet delved into mechs, though it intrigues me.
  24. wow, 38k! Even a small fraction of that would probably drag my lappy to a screaming halt This is all really amazing work, I especially love the treatment you gave the brickwork and roof of the cloister
